Futuristic The Advertures and MisAdventures of "The Pride"

Thrace grinned softly, and said "Dare." Just as the call from Devon came through. Without even glancing at the comms, he tapped the local receiver unit with his left hand, and put his index finger on Tasha's lips gently. He glanced at the comm, then back to Tasha, his eyes like to hers, "Aye Captain, Thrace here, what can I do for you?"

Tasha smiled at him, the feeling of his fingers against her lips.

She mimed zipping her mouth shut and throwing away the key, and listened to the captain's reply.

"Ah there you are pilot hows my ship?" Devon smirked. He looked at the wall with a devilish smirk. "What you up to?"

Thrace bit back a laugh, then said over the comm, "Just waiting on you to get back, had a couple of upgrades installed, and got you a bit of cargo, nothing major, just a few antiquities and general cargo. How's your business going sir? Almost through?" His gaze was still directly on Tasha's eyes as he spoke.

"All is going well Thrace not to bad at all." Devon walked back and forth in the hallway. "So cutting the small talk, Thrace we need an exit."

Thrace sighed, he had felt this was coming. "Can you get Sasha to uplink telemetry to the ships Nav? I'll do the rest." He closed his end of the com channel off and took his finger off of Tasha's lips "Well have to play more later." He turned in the seat and tapped the ships starting drives hailing the stations security, he said over the comm, "This is The Pride, were pullin out." The station security confirmed and he had the ship's drives primed and ready to go in seconds, he looked to Tasha, "You might want to get the med bay prepped, sounds to me like they're going to do something stupid, or need me to do something equally stupid." He strapped himself into his seat, and pulled the ship out of the dock casually, sighing as he knew soon, there would be smoke and fire and another place they couldn't return, at least not for a while.

Devon turned to Sasha as he put his arm down. "Sasha uplink the telematry and try not to put any threats in your message. Chris." He gestured his hand towards the wall that separated them from the Neptunian atmosphere. "When Thrace gets here we go out just like one of those grenades you will detonate once he gets here, you following me?" Jumping into the upper atmosphere full of methane was admittedly suicidal but so was exiting the way they came in.

"You want me to blow the methane right?" He said as he pulled a thermite grenade off of his belt. "Well, how about you two stand back. I have a feeling the heat at the entrance point may be a bit too much." He rolled his shoulders and cracked his neck. "Hey Angel, after this we should see who can win in a fist fight." His tone was light as he deliberated the incredibly dangerous idea of blowing the methane in the air.

"And just think about it you two, we kill this guy come back get the money, kill the fat lady then head to Mercury. I hear they give the best sun tans this time of Solar rotation." He leaned back on another wall with his eyes closed seemingly deep in his fantasy. "And think about the babes we can pick up there hehehe...."

Tasha frowned and nodded, walking casually to the med-bay. She silently walked in, and cleared off the table that had held Thrace for a few minutes.

She glanced back at the cockpit, and decided to join Thrace again.

She sat down, not on the arm of his chair, but on a chair next to him. She sighed. "There really isn't much to do in there. Is there anything I can do for you?"

Thrace nodded, and motioned to the comm signals, "Yeah, See if you can find the stations security, make sure when Devon and the others make their move that channel is white noise from one end to the other. Just make sure Devon and them don't have anyone sneaking up on them or monitoring channels between them... Other then that..." He glanced back at her, "It's still your turn to dare me." He grinned, pulling the ship out of the port, waiting on the telemetry readings.

Tasha grinned and turned to the computer. Oh, so we ARE still playing the game? Cool.

She thought as she flipped through the security cameras and disabled them.

"Hmm... I dare you.... To openly make fun of the captain when he gets onboard." Should be interesting.

She sub-consciously leaned closer to Thrace as she spoke, and glanced up at his face. She held her gaze for a moment, captivated by the bottomless green eyes that she beheld. Then she turned her gaze back to the computer.

Suddenly, an idea popped into her head. Could you dare someone to tell you something...?

"Actually, scratch that. I dare you. To tell me how old you are."

Thrace shrugged, "I'm Twenty-Seven, waste of a question Tash, I'd have told you for the asking. Truth or dare?" His eyes skimmed over the various readouts and he sighed as he eased the ship into a standby state, waiting for Devon and the others to hail him again with details.

Tasha shrugged. "Dare."

27?! That means he is 8 years older than me! This should be interesting.

Without looking at her, Thrace tapped his chin, "Hm... Alright... I dare you..." He paused to think for a moment, "I dare you to do the next thing that pops into your head. Simply do it, without thinking about the consequences." It was a clever move, but he knew it could lead anywhere, most people cheated on this dare he knew, but there was no harm in trying.

Sasha rolled her eyes as she began the transfer to Thrace. "Tanning does sound like fun," she paused for a second as she transferred the telemetry to Thrace, "and who can turn down a hot girl or two," she giggled. Sasha want too fond of Thrace but at the same time she understood that she was apart of a crew and technically, to her anyways, that made them family. She sent off the data required and went back to fussing with the others. "So the fat one dies too? I didn't bring my harpoon though, so whose taking down the whale? I don't really want her blubber all over my equipment," she joked, "I hear that it stains and that the smell is toxic."

Tasha looked at him, and a smile slowly crept onto her face. "Alright, but you asked for it."

She got up from her chair, trusting that the others were okay, and smirked. "Be prepared."

Then she promptly sat down in Thrace's lap, wrapped her arms around his neck, and hesitated for just a moment, but decided to go with it.

Tasha leaned forward and pressed her lips against his. She held it for a few seconds, and then pulled away.

"My turn." She sounded breathless, and her eyes were bright and clear, and an excited smile perched on her face.

She shifted her positioning in his lap, grinning up at him.

"Truth or dare?"

When she moved in, and kissed him, Thrace's arm's snaked around her, one about her waist, the other around her neck. As she would kiss him, so he would kiss her back, holding the kiss a moment longer, waiting for that moment of serene breathlessness, where his eyes would gain spots of darkness, before he would part the kiss. He would release her after a moment, and his hands slipping back down to the ship's controls as he lined them up with the telemetry, grinning all the while, he looked at her after a moment, saying, "Dare."

Tasha watched as he did his work. "I dare you... Ah, what the heck... To do whatever you want, right now, no matter the consequences."

Should be interesting.

Her heart was beating fast, and she looked excited. This was a very new experience for her, and so far, she was enjoying it.

We should probably be done with this by the time the rest of the crew comes back...

She waited a little impatiently for Thrace to make his move.

Thrace raised a brow at her, and chuckled lightly, He of course had planned his next move. He reached over to one of the main control consoles. With a deft flick and several motions later, he shut off the ships gravity generator, putting them directly into weightlessness. His hands still on the ship's controls, he flipped the ship with it's drive thrusters still active. The experience would be slightly disorienting, but it would let everything not pinned down fly at it's own gravitational whim. He kept one arm around her waist as he brought the ship into perfect synchronized rotation with the station at the appropriate Telemetry. He brought a finger to his lips as he looked at her, signaling for a moment of silence, then he tapped the comm, "Captain, this is Thrace, Were in position, When your ready. Airlock is open, displation field is in place. I'm ready to play catch."

He tapped the comm on his end off again and pulled Tasha close to him, kissing her gently. Because she was weightless and he was strapped in, she could float within the cabin, and he'd act as her anchor, "Bit old fashion, but if you've never done it before..." He shrugged lightly, "Zero G drifting always plays hell on the hormones and internal mechanisms in your head." Basically, what he was trying to say, was the drift would make anything that was happening inside her, speed up slightly, hormonal changes, endorphin releases, anything.

Tasha's eyes widened slightly as he explained what he was doing, and she chuckled. "Naughty."

She kissed him again, her heart racing. One hand played in his hair, and the other was still wrapped around his neck. She murmured into his mouth, "why haven't I done this before?"

She pulled herself even closer, and nuzzled him gently.

"It's your turn." She said, not caring in the least if he actually wanted to continue the game.

Thrace nodded at her, a grin on his lips, he looked at her and shrugged, "Probably because you've never flown with me." He paused and chuckled lightly, then said "Truth or Dare Tasha." He had the ship dancing for him, and now this young woman was floating almost in his arms, even when one didn't have all the necessities in life, the simple luxuries often made a whole world of difference.

Thrace blushed lightly, coughing slightly he said, "Well... Damn..." He rubbed his head and sighed quietly, "Ah... Now I don't know what to ask... How about..." He looked up at the stars, and asked, "Where do we go from here..." His tone was almost sad sounding, his gaze shifted to her eyes, the lighthearted look in his face almost gone.

Tasha was a tiny bit confused. "What do you mean? Our relationship? I'd say we can either hide it from the crew, or be totally open about it. Wouldn't it be funny to see their reactions?"

She grinned lightly, and smacked the top of his head. "I thought I told you that sadness was forbidden today. And by the way, I don't care that you're older than me."
