Futuristic The Advertures and MisAdventures of "The Pride"

Thrace raised a brow at her, "Age gaps... not to sound like a teenager, but that concern is sooo twenty-first century." He took the smack to the head and snorted, then reached up and spun her in the air, chuckling, "Let me know when you want to stop." It would be dizzying to say the least, and if she reached out to grab anything, she probably wouldn't be able to reach, Zero Gravity did that, made you vulnerable when you didn't even realize it. He sighed and shrugged, "It's up to you Tasha... I don't mind either way... But... Just so you know, I'm wanted..." He looked over the console, though there wasn't anything for him to notice.

Tasha grinned and spun around on the zero gravity. "I know you're wanted. I don't see why, but I don't really care."

Her vision spun for a second, and she laughed. "You can stop."

She closed her eyes. "Thank you."

Thrace reached out, and tapped her shoulder, slowing her, he pulled her back to him, grinning lightly, he chuckled, remarking, "If they ever come back, We'll just let them figure it out, I don't think Sasha will flirt with me..." He looked her over, "I can bark at the other dogs if they start flirting." He chuckled lightly and sighed quietly as he adjusted several of the gauges.

"Ok Chris, blow the hole, we get sucked through into the nearly no air atmosphere, we fly through the atmosphere for a couple of seconds and we aim fot the ship's airlock. All while holding our breath." He smiled cockly knowing how dangerous his plan was from even the initial detonation of Chris's explosion but he could careless. Though for the fun of it and entertainment of hearing thier answers he sarcastically asked. "So, any questions?"

Chris slid the protective covet off the grenade pin and pulled it. His suit sealed itself as he tossed the grenade into the wall. "I'm gonna grab hold of the two of you after the hole blows so be ready." He would have to stand the initial shock to be able to get ahold of both of them.

Sasha looked at both the Captain and Chris. "Just wondering if I should be worried that this way if exiting is gonna be the standard." She was shocked to say the least but then again she had done her fair share of reckless things. This just further proved her point that being a part of this crew was gonna be fun. "Definitely a flashy exit," she looked to Chris, "you better not let me go then." She said it jokingly but meant it, definitely not the way she wanted to die.

"Well whatever you do, don't breathe, that is if you don't want your lungs to drastically inflate." He laughed a little at the idea. "And if you don't mind your lungs igniting at the closest appearance of fire or explosions." Devon began breathing deeply trying to expand his lungs.

Sasha took a page from the captain and began to take deep breaths as well. She wasn't sure about this idea at all, and while it was a little frightening, she was excited at the same time. "Definitely don't want that to happen."

Tasha smirked and patted the top of his head. "Good boy."

She pecked him on the lips one more time, and then slid from his lap, and made her way to her seat. She settled herself in, and straightened her thin jacket.

"Truth or Dare?"

Chris gritted his teeth and watched the holo display of his helmet. A small countdown over the grenade. 3..2...1 ignition of thermite. A flash of blue and red erupted from the small capsule. The wall began to melt and be pulled outward by the blast. In a flash the wall was gone and he sprinted into the still burning haze of thermite. Grabbing hold of both the captain and Sasha's arms he turned his back to the bits of hot metal and used his body as a shield before sling shooting the both of them towards the ship. With one last shove off the now unstable flooring Chris propelled himself towards the ship and rejoined with Devon and Sasha. Using a bit of the oxygen from his suit he corrected their course and turned his back to the ship, he felt the hard wall of the cargo hold ram into his back and cushioning the hit for the others. Driving the still hot thermite deep into his back. "FUCK!" he yelled as he slipped down the wall and let go of the two of them. He breathed heavily for a moment before he sighed. "You two OK? Thrace get us out of here." He called over their general channel. Standing quickly he slapped the gate switch and shut the hold. With a slight limp he made his way to his room and began to pull off the still smoking parts of his armor.

Sasha slammed into Chris as they entered the airlock and then dropped to the ground with a thud. She slowly stood up and watched as Chris limped away, "Take it easy, big guy," she slowly walked to her room while removing her armor, "that was a new one though, even for me. To purposely do that," she removed armor and changed to a pair of shorts and an oversized slightly dirty shirt, "maintenance time." She set out all of her things, Omni-tool still on her arm and Osiris whirring softly.

"You exhaled right!" He swung his head upright as the airlock closed behind them. After a couple moments he kept coughing uncontrollably gasping for more and more air. His vision was a bit blurry but he ignored it. He stumbled back up to his feet and slammed back and forth between the corridor as he exited the room. "You two fix yourselves up and lets never do that again." He began to gain back his stability and manege to get to the entrance of the bridge. "Thrace. MOVE THIS BITCH!!!"

"Well that was definitely a fun little game," she placed her eye piece on as she began to re watch the footage of their adventure, watching how both the captain and Chris moved and operated. She began stretching and loosening up as she replayed the footage, giggling as she watched Chris charge opponents and beat them down, and nearly bursting into laughter as the captain was taken for a ride high off the ground. She found the way way they operated to be both entertaining and effective and she looked forward to the contract they had just picked up. 'Liberate' one and come back and take care of the fatty, she chuckled as she contemplates the level of security that would be in place for their return. With any luck that lady would meet them in the docks, but Sasha knew better than to bet on the easiest solution. She decided to take a walk through the halls and try to see where it would be a good place to hide away in case she didn't want to be seen or disturbed.

Thrace looked to Tasha, and shrugged, "Dare."

When the crew was back on board, he smirked, and slapped the controls, then flipped the ship, he'd been priming the engines for jump. He repeated his actions from earlier that day, saying over the ships internal comms, "Here we go..." The ship jumped, like a shot from a rail gun, it disappeared from the space near the planet, then dropped out a ways away, just within the radar range. He pivoted the ship, and jumped again, Another pivot, another jump. He watched the engines, the core, all of the surrounding telemetry, and then a fourth jump. Thrace said over the comm one more time, "And one more, Just to make things fun." He hit the fifth jump and they were drifting above Saturn's Rings, just out of the field, Thrace let the engines and core go into cooldown. He still had gravity off, which allowed the crew to drift and lowered the ships pulse drag throughout the jumps. He hit the comm again, "Captain, Were orbiting Saturn, If you have a destination in mind, I can have us on our way as quick as you'd like." His multi jump strategy always got them away without the possibility of being traced. It was possible within two jumps, but after the fourth jump, no tracking system built could keep up. He spoke over the comm one more time, "Let me know when you want the Gravity back on, it lowers our jump efficiency, and consumes power, but not by much."

Snorting, he laughed and shook his head, "Your funeral Tash." He unfastened his belts, and slid out of the seat, and let himself drift through the cabin to the door. He tapped it's opening switch and let himself through, chuckling. He'd have to wait for the captain to enter the common area before carrying out the dare. But, Thrace was fully capable of doing so. He knew it'd earn him at least a broken nose though.

Chris tapped on the underside of his wrist and felt his heavy hard suit slip off in the zero g. He sighed as he similarly slipped off the black skin tight under suit and tossed it aside. The fabric was motionless as it soared, a twist revealed small burned holes all along the upper and mid back. He groaned as he kicked off the ground and towards a full length mirror. Grabbing a pair of tweezers off the magnetic table he twisted to look at his back. Small bits of metal were still burning underneath his skin. He clenched his teeth as he began the painful process of pulling out the bits of burning metal from his skin. He couldn't help but grunt as a trickle of unnatural deep red blood flow down his back.

Tasha grinned and leaned back, chuckling. Then she remembered her job.

"Crap. OI, ANYBODY HURT?!?" She shouted, and walked to where Thrace was.

Sasha made her way into the common area. "You mind going to take a look at Macho-Man Chris, he looked like he was in a pretty bad way!" Sasha yelled back in response to the doc's call. As she made it to the common area she saw Thrace there and silently moved to a chair and propped her feet up to relax. "Hey there, Quickdraw McGraw, how's it going?" she said casually as if they were buddies.

She wasn't necessarily fond of Thrace, but he was their pilot. Usually wasn't a good idea to piss off the man that at the end of day can choose to leave you behind or rescue you from certain death. Didn't mean she wasn't allowed to rib him every now and again, and she did feel a little bad that she had killed a family member of his, unknowingly. Although, when she looked at it, one innocent old man versus her life was an easy choice, and that was just as simple as it got.

Chris grunted as he pulled the last shard of metal from his back. Droplets of his extra dark blood and the gleaming metal shards floated aimlessly in the grav-less room. With a sigh he pushed himself to the far wall and grabbed a small bottle, filled with a blue past, and a roll of bandages. Grimacing he pressed the paste to his wounds and rubbed it into the small but deep holes, with a sigh he wrapped the bandages from his waist up to, and around, his shoulders. Grabbing a small hand vac from the closet to his right he cleaned up the blood and metal as best he could before tossing the vac back into the closet and pressed the shutter on the door. With a quick push he made his way out of his room and down towards the common room. Seeing Thrace and Tasha in the hall he waved as he passed before sliding into the common room. "Now now Angel I can take care of myself thank you." he said with a smirk as he held on to the table to settle himself into a chair next to her. "And how were you two while we were away? Anything fun happen?" he asked Tasha and Thrace as they made their way to the room.

"What's the use of having a doctor on board if everyone knows how to patch themselves up?!" Tasha muddered under her breath, and turned to Chris.

"Not really. It was pretty boring. We chatted. Stuff."

Chris cocked an eyebrow. "I don't believe you." he smirks. "Yeah, no way that's the truth girly."

It was Tasha's turn to raise an eyebrow at him.

"Unless you think cleaning up blood from the wall of the ship and chewing Thrace out for getting the ship dirty is fun, we had a very uneventful stay."

She glared at Thrace while she said this, still a little peeved that he had hurt himself.

Sasha looked to Chris as he sat down. "I'm sure you can handle yourself well in a firefight and getting dressed in the morning," she chuckled at her jest, "but we have a doctor for a reason. I may call on her if I trip and scrape my knee or something, I don't want it to get infected after all." She laughed for a second before realizing that she was wearing her Omni-tool and Osiris was still running. She didn't really care though. She had mapped a bit of the ship and would do so more a little later, she was just doing her own check-ups. It was good for one to know their ship.

"Yeah," she replied after Chris and Tasha spoke, "I believe Tasha. They definitely did stuff." she laughed again.

Thrace snorted as they grilled Tasha, after a moment he spoke up, "Yeah, I got my leg fixed, and we restocked the ship. Your welcome by the way. Captain had his way, you'd all starve on food cubes and nutrino packs." He had his arms crossed over his chest and he leaned against the bulkhead between the cockpit and the common area, "A word to the not so wise about life..." He said carefully, his facial expression calm and cool, "Try not to piss off your doctor, even if you think you don't need her, you might need her at some point, and she might not need you at that point." He snorted, and chuckled lightly, shaking his head.
