Futuristic The Advertures and MisAdventures of "The Pride"

Chris laughed. "Technically, she's not my doctor anyway." with a shrug he spun in the chair. "Besides I've lived my life in a pretty fun way, and I'd say I'm one of the wiser when it comes to things like this. If my judge of character isn't wrong then Tasha doesn't mind enough to let me die. Secondly you two were getting all touchy feely weren't you?" he turned again and faced Sasha. "By the way, if you hack the ship with your fancy tool leave my room out of it if you wouldn't mind. A man needs his privacy of course." he said in a sarcastic tone.

Tasha looked offended. "What do you mean 'she's not my doctor'? And we talked about my parents, so it got a little emotional. But that's it. And we restocked the ship and I fixed up his leg."

(Guys, Kaz is right. The last time we were all together, Tasha was insisting that she wasn't going to go shopping, and the captain then ordered her to go. Earlier, Tasha was obviously pissed at Thrace, and she just told them that there was blood on the wall that they had to clean up.

On another note, your characters just came back from a flippin war zone-something like that-so they are tired, grumpy, and not very observant. Even if Tasha and Thrace hinted at it, ur characters probably would not notice.)

Sasha decided to lounge around the common area for a while, she was a little tuckered out from their little fire fight, and the exhaustion was just now hitting her. "Do you have anything that's good for waking one up, I feel like I'm about to fall into a coma." She crossed her arms on the table and laid her head down on them. Then perhaps something for Hercules here, to remind him that doctors are not something to be overlooked," she laughed into her arms as she raised a thumbs up, hoping that Tasha saw it.

Devon entered the room with all of his battpe material still on as if he was still waiting for another firefight to begin. "Doc, check out everyone without discretion, no hesitation or reconsideration. I need to see everyone's clean bill of health." As he muttered his orders he walked right through their conversation heading for his quarters pausing at the edge of the door. " Thirty minutes till Thrace will haul us to Triton, and we're all going his time. And don't bother asking what the plan is, am still making it so Sue me. I could use the extra cash." He coughed a little and walk away into the hall. The sound of a door opening and closing was the last evidence of his existence until the sound could be heard once more. "Who went through my systems!!!"

Sasha knew that she was going to be the primary suspect since she still had Osiris running, and she slowly turned it off, got up and made her way toward Tasha. "Ladies first!" she moved at a decent pace out of the room, sticking her tongue out at Chris as she left. She still hadn't worked the kinks out of Osiris, and sometimes it seemed it was capable of entering systems and taking information from things that she wasn't actually trying to infiltrate, which led to a lot of extra info to go through and sort and understand. "Such a bother," she muttered under breath as she left the common area, "Let's make this quick doc, I'm as healthy as they come...but obviously I'll take your second opinion." she said playfully as she winked at Tasha.

Rolling her eyes, she followed Sasha to the room and quietly shut the door behind her.

(Aaaaand I'm too lazy to write anything here.)

She held the door open for Sasha, and called out, "Chris! Your turn! Sasha's fine, cappy."

Chris groaned and stood. "But what if she gets all curious about my physiology" he thought as he pushed his feet towards Tasha. He shook his head and entered the room it shouldn't be that big a deal, besides he could just lie.... "So doc, how do I look?" he said as he set himself down on the table.

Tasha frowned as she looked at him. "Shirt off." She ordered, and when he did, she began to unwrap one of the bandages. She raised an eyebrow.

"You did fine with the bandaging, but what the heck happened?"

She put the bandage back, and tossed him the shirt. "Otherwise it looks like you're fine. Can you tell the captain to get in here?"

Chris nodded and slipped the shirt back on. "I dove through a blast of thermite for the Cap'n and Sasha." He went to the door and turned. "Thanks for the compliment by the way doc." He said simply as he headed out the door. "CAP'N" he yelled "Doc wants you!" With a rolling of his shoulder and a grimace he sat back down in the common room and yawned.

Sasha quickly went back to her room, removed her omni-tool, brought up Osiris's system programming and immersed herself in a 1-on-1 battle with it's high tech security system as she tried to bring Osiris more under her control. The system seemed to be self-aware, which is why sometimes it would take in information that wasn't asked of it, but overall it usually did what it was told. She definitely regretted killing the man who had created this thing without asking him more questions about it, but then again that wasn't part of her mission parameters.

"Hey guys, long time no see." the ginger smirked, coming up from engineering, a pair of filthy goggles on his forehead, his hair a mess, and his face streaked with grease and sweat. "Been really busy down there, y'know, fixing up your stuff. So...what have I missed? Hope you haven't had too much fun without me. Though, to tell ya the truth, I think I need a break." He sighed and collapsed into an empty chair, running a gloved hand through his hair.

Hey...I hope I'm not interrupting anything (||||||)0

Sasha had exhausted herself with Osiris and decided to call it quits for the evening, Osiris was too advanced a system for even her expertise. "Damn you." she muttered as she shut him down. She left her room and headed back toward the Common Area, where she saw the little ginger brat and heard what he said. "How you doing there, grease monkey," she ruffled his hair, "It was quite the murder-fest out there today, actually." She went and sat down and motioned for the boy to come over with her finger. "It was actually quite exciting, but don't think your hard work won't go unrewarded," she winked at him, "We're all leaving the ship the next time we dock, is there anything that you'd like me to pick you up while we're out?"

"Aw man!" he cried, his face genuinely concerned. "I missed everything!" Upon her question, he pondered for a moment. "Hey, ya think I could get a new 23 inch longhand defibrillator? Either that or a Mark 17-D energy repulsor glove. Mine are both kind of wearing out." He gave her a lopsided grin. "And next time we get to fight, I'm coming, got it?" He winked, looking at her right in the eye and grabbing something edible. He chewed it for a moment, then added, "No stopping me."

" You got a lot of spunk there, Tiger." she chuckled at his eagerness. "I tell you what, you tell me where I would find those items and I'll get both of them for you," she smiled at the boy, "As far as the fighting part goes...that's not up to me. Plus, if we lose you, who else is going to fill your position. You're a special part of the crew. We can't just go throwing you into danger...you may turn out like this bullet happy, danger craving, grenade throwing guy over here." she points over at Chris as she sticks her tongue out at him and winks.

"Hey, don't worry, I can handle myself..." he reassured her. "I've been handling guns for just about forever. So don't think you're gonna need to 'refill my position'. But thanks." He smirked. "Besides, there's really nothing left to do here for a while...unless someone decides to blow something up in the next 2 weeks."

"So we've got ourselves a child soldier on board," she said jokingly, "I'd allow it, just to see what you got kid. You have my vote, can you do me a favor and get me something cold to drink?" She was exhausted from fighting people and Osiris. "So what exactly got you on this ship in the first place, Tiger? No offense, but you don't seem to fit the profile of one who should aboard a vessel of killers, serial killers, terrorists, and thieves." she chuckled to herself.

"Yes!" he fist-pumped the air, searching for a drink to give her. "Is it awkward to say I stole aboard, in a way?" he grinned sheepishly. "You guys were all running or whatever; looked like fun." He smiled to himself. "Also, is that gonna be a thing now? 'Tiger'? It's the hair, isn't it?" He turned back to her, handing her the beverage. "To be honest, though, it's not half bad here."

She laughed at his question as she took the drink from him. "Yeah, sorry kid. That's what your new name is gonna be, from me anyway," she gave him a big smile, "Definitely the hair...also I kinda got picked up awhile back, so I didn't really get a chance to see you that much, just in passing while..." she points to Chris, "this guy was stripping me and forcing me and to do things I didn't want to." she had to hold back from laughing. "I agree. Not half bad at all." she took a long draw from her drink and let's out a loud and refreshing AHHHHHH! "That hit the spot," she looks at the boy, "Just hopped along for the ride because it seemed like a good idea at the time..interesting. Well, glad you finally came up from that dungeon. For a second I was gonna have to thrash Thrace for information on your whereabouts."

"Whoa whoa whoa," he smirked. "That's a little excessive, don'tcha think?" He stretched. "It was a little cramped in there, jeeze, maybe I could expand it." he pondered, adjusting the goggles on his forehead before pulling them off. They'd left a mark and it looked rather odd. "Phew." he muttered, rubbing the pink indention lines with a gloved hand.

"Well don't go getting all cramped up in there," she took another swig from her drink, "I want to see if the tiger has bite to match that roar." She smirked. She yawned and stretched a bit. "It's been a very long and exciting day," looking at the boy and winking, "for me." She stood up, finishing her drink and setting it down on the table. "Please tell me there are showers somewhere on this vessel, and if so, do you mind escorting a fallen angel there?" she asked semi-seductively. He was a growing boy after all, so there was no harm in a little joking around with him, she shot a tiny smirk at Chris as she walked by him and stood by the corridor that led out of the Common Area, before turning back to the boy. "Well, Tiger, you gonna help out a damsel in distress or what?" again with the voice, and she even bit her lower lip a little. He hadn't been out in awhile so she figured she play with him for the time being since everyone else seemed to be preoccupied with their own stuff.

Chris listened quietly to the conversation and laughed when she spoke of stripping her. "Don't act like you didn't like it Angel." He called after her as he leaned back in his chair. He looked to the engineer and gave him the thumbs up. "And just go for it little man, she's a lioness in the bedsheets." He said with a smirk.

He got up but then blushed deep red at Chris' comment. "Wha-um..I-- what?" he stuttered, his feet fastened into the floor, preventing him from moving. "I-I don't know about the showers," he recovered, scratching the back of his head, "otherwise I wouldv'e used 'em and I wouldn't look like this." He hoped joking would help him to freaking move.

Sasha laughed as the boy stood, stuck in his tracks, and stuttering. She looked over to Chris and smiled. "Well it looks like Tiger is out of the game, any chance you know where I can wash up...you might want to look into a shower yourself." she said as she cracked a smile.

Chris grinned. "Take a left down the main corridor, its the second door on the left." He grinned "but I don't think there would be enough room for bit of us in there Angel, so you can go first."

Sasha smiled and turned to leave. "Such a gentleman, I'll let you know when it's free." she waved over her shoulder as she left the room. Following his instructions she arrived at her destination. She quickly got undressed and hopped into the shower and soaked. A lot had happened to her recently, before being picked up by The Pride, and standing under the water felt so relieving, as if washing away her worries. She stayed in there for about 10 minutes before drying off, getting dressed, and heading back into the Common Area. "All yours." she said to Chris as she lounged on the couch, on the verge of passing out.
