Fandom The 73th Hunger Games

Thomas looked Aron dead in the eyes. "I could live. I could go back to mindless fishing for the rest of my life. I could play the game the way they want it to be played. Or I can do it my way. Besides, maybe I don't deserve to win."

Harvest flexed his biceps, "They aren't too bad." He then noted her saying she wouldn't die. "Well then, guess we will just have to see." It was playful, but this made him worry just a little about her intentions.

Aaron shook his head, "If you are so willing to put another before yourself, so against the capital and their sh!t that they throw to us, then survive and show them they have no right to rule over you. Don't become just another death of the games and be another useless pawn."

Thomas shook his head. "That would mean killing everyone and making this just another year. The games are supposed to prove that the districts can't work together. If I save a perfect stranger from another district, that point dies. If I fail to protect you, then I will make a point to kill everyone else in your name. That will make a point."

Aaron looked away, understanding Thomas's reasoning. "I understand your point.. Now it makes mine seem naive, which it is." Aaron pulled out a wooden ball and rolled it around in his hands, distracting him from his thoughts.

"I need to get back to training soon, as do you, but first tell me, why do you think your reason is naïve? And what is the ball for?" Thomas asked.

Aaron sighed at Thomas's question, "It just seemes useless now when I really think. And the ball? I made it when I was little, guess I could never really let it go.."

"I wont die I could bet on that," Paris smirked and walked off to practice building a fire. Paris was great at making fires and started a big one pretty quick. In every game, you'll need to make a fire.

Thomas placed a reassuring hand on Aaron's shoulder. "That is part of why I chose you. You have emotion. You should get to work. Talk to you later." He then stood up and headed of to the knife station. He was getting better at throwing them.

(Sure, give me a few minutes. Remembering I have to write Onyx's too, so itll be 10 mins or so.)
The kids were just raised into the arena, the pods disappearing, allowing them to run if they were stupid. Course no one was dumb enough to run, only wait for the timer to begin. The area was a snow desolate of life, with not much cover if any. Mountains and cliffs riddled the area, but that didn't concern Harvest or Onyx, for they were going to the cornucopia.

Harvest was at the mouth or the cornucopia, trying to search out those who would stop him. Most of the kids were glancing back to see which way into the tundra they would run. Harvest was going straight for his weapons, lying in the back on the cradle. He didn't see Paris yet, but he knew she would meet him there, with no one to oppose them beside Onyx.

Onyx was behind the cornucopia, and despite his big size, he knew he could make it there fast. His whole plan relied on killing Harvest and taking Paris for himself. Not to kill her, no, for everything was allowed in the games. He licked his lips as he was ready to hear the cannons and ready for the blood bath to begin.
