Fandom The 73th Hunger Games

Paris tensed as she was raised up into the arena. She watched the cornucopia come to view. This has been the moment she been waiting for. She looked around. The arena has been turned into an artic tundra. She could've guessed, everyone was wearing a thick parka.

Aaron looked around quickly at the other competadors, most were looking as if they'd bolt away, Aaron knew that they would die quickly without any supplies, sohis main goal wasn't to achieve any weapons, but one of the backpacks in the cornicopia. His parka blew in the icy wind as the timer began to count down.

Thomas was lifted into the freezing cold. Looking around he knew supplies were I portent and there was no way Aaron and him could hold the cornucopia. He had never been in such cold, but knew what to do. He saw a nice spear laying right in his path. A little to the side was a backpack. He decided to go after the spear and hope to fight off anyone who took the pack.

Paris counted down. Her district is counting on her. She locked her eyes on the bow and arrows. She needed them. She looked deeper into the mouth and saw some throwing knives. Those will be extremely useful, but they will be hard to get.

One moment left and Harvest took his stance, knowing the sickles he needed were in the mouth. He looked to his right and saw Paris, giving her a wink before he turned just in time to hear the start. He ran and ran hoping he could make it.

Onyx sprinted down to the cornucopia, knocking another tribute over that was in his way.

Paris ran straight to the bow and grabbed the shaft of arrows. She punched a tribute that got in her way. She ran deep into the mouth to get the throwing knives. She was careful because anyone could be behind her, waiting to end her.

The sound of 1 rung in Aaron's ears and coincidentally, it sounded like run. Bolting towards the cornicopia Aaron felt the cold eat at his energy. Avoiding the majority of the battles and dodgung a few blows, Aaron grabbed a pack and slung it into his back. Spying a battleaxe nearby Aaron debated for running or going for it. He looked behind him and saw no one coming, so he took off in the direction of the axe, but ready to run. Seeing Thomas go for a spear, he assured himself if was the right choice as he closed the distance between himself and the axe slowly.

When the cannon sounded, Thomas waisted no time racing for the spear. He had grown up around the weapon and knew it well. He gave another tribute a solid uppercut on his jaw and grabbed the weapon. It didn't take long before the spear tip was bloodied. He saw someone else had taken the pack and was running. There was a lone knife on the ground and he threw it at the girl with the pack. It landed square in her shoulder and it slowed her down enough for him to tackle her and take the bag. He quickly scanned the crowd for Aaron.

Harvest reached the mouth and grabbed his sickles, tearing into a tribute's throat. He saw Paris a little farther in and gave a nod, right as he was tackled by Onyx. Onyx began to pry the sickles from his hands, but it became a stand still. Finally he kicked him off and with much effort, got the strength to lunge and hit him in the cafe. It didn't go deep, but blood spew. Onyx screamed before bring both hands down on Harvest's back, and with that grabbed a sword and back pack and ran.

Paris stayed where she was and threw a nice right into Onyx's thigh. Hopefully that would slow him down. She threw another at his shoulder trying to slow him down. She didn't want to get too close unless neccesary.

Onyx pulled the blades out of himself and continued the run with his pack and sword. Harvest got up and went to the mouth with Paris, "Hey beautiful." He said this, but he was still watching his surroundings. The area had cleared and most of the stuff was still here.

Thomas spotted Aaron and headed in his direction. It seemed he wanted an Ax from behind the cornucopia. Thomas caught up with him and saw a pack of knives. He quickly swiped them up and had a couple out in case things got nasty.

Paris looked at him worried. "you ok?" she asked. Paris began picking up items that people left like a career would do. She grabbed a backpack. She took a knife, it could've been useful.

"Ok, yea I'm alright, just a little sore in the side." He was still on guard, but he began moving the boxes of supplies close to the cornucopia.

"We will camp here of course, we have everything we need." Staying at the cornucopia was there best bet, at least for the first night to sort out what they are going to take.

"You think like a career, I like that," Paris teased. She gave a little peck on his cheek. She bet they just earned a few sponsors and the cameras were probably pointed at them. "Should be build a fire or go hunting?"

Harvest rubbed his cheek, not really sure if she did it for the cameras or him. "Fire most definitely.". He had finished stacking the boxes in front of the cornucopia, making it with a small entrance. "We just need something to light, search in some of the boxes.".

"Okay," Paris looked through some boxes and some packages. "Nope, there aren't any lighters or sh*t," Paris walked over to Harvest. "Guess we'll have to make our own fire,"

"Get to it, I saw you take the fire station course." He stuck his tongue and went to handle his own things, taking out weapons and such from the boxes.

Paris shoved Harvest aside. "Hey! With that attitude, you aren't gonna survive, you know? Com'on help me, it's gonna take a while because it's so cold,"

He laughed, "I've already accepted that sweetheart, but I'll help you out." He walked over to her, quite unsure off how to actually start a fire.

"You don't know how to start a fire, huh?" Paris asked smirking. Paris tackled him and gave him a devious look. "I could start a spark," Paris planted a kiss right on his lips.

He pulled her in, kissing her harder. When he released the kiss he ran his hands on her waist, "Best fire I've ever seen.".
