Fandom The 73th Hunger Games

"Honestly, I have to say, from what I observed, you wanted to be allies with me before I wanted to. I just had the guts to ask," Paris said surely. Paris was pretty sure what she said was correct.

"I wanted to flirt with you and hopefully get a kiss before I died, but a partner works great too." He gave a smile.

"Well, you can cross the first off your list. Your just like Onyx, maybe just less perverted and confident, but your a lot like him," Paris said.

"No there is a lot of differences between me and him, I like you for being my partner, and to him you are just someone to get with." With that he walked off, not liking her comparing them.

Paris walked off to train again. She realized that she might've angered Harvest. But, it was partly true, they both flirted with her. Paris walked over to the ropes course and found a way to get up.

Harvest went over to the weights, not wanting to deal with Paris right now. Of course after throwing a few of the hundred pound balls he was met with someone more difficult; Onyx. "Wow, and I thought you would be strong with those muscles." Onyx picked up balls in either hand and threw them without much effort.

Paris watched from the top of the ropes. Ugh, Onyx went over to Harvest. Whatever Onyx was there for wasn't good. Onyx wasn't any good. Paris jumped down from the ropes and did a couple of flips before landing perfectly on her feet. She walked over by Harvest's side. Even though she might've angered Harvest earlier, she wanted to help. "Leave him alone, Onyx,"

"Oh princess, let the man handle this" Onyx gave a smug look towards Paris, but underneath he was ready to end her. Who the hell does she think she is! Onyx was pissed, but chose to hide it.

"Very charming way to talk to a lady." Harvest had cross his arms, and partially put himself between Onyx and Paris. He saw the look in Onyx's eyes, and didn't want something to spark.

Paris gave the death-glare toward Onyx. "Honestly you aren't a man, your a big f*ucking man whore who has no talent to even be in the games," Paris took the wild card here.

"You know if I wasn't to sure Paris, I would be thinking you are siding with this kid." Onyx was now standing his full height trying to size up Harvest who was in between them.

Paris shrugged. "It's not surprising why you don't have any allies yet. You should just leave and stop bothering him,"

"I guess the rest of the careers don't count then." He leaned back, allowing a smug look on his face to cross. "Whenever I'm done with ranch hand, you'll be mine, and I like to play before I kill.". With that he walked away, a lustful look on his face, practically licking his lips.

Harvest put his back to Onyx and turned towards her, "You alright?".

"He seemed pretty serious, are you sure you want to take your chances with me." He was serious also, for he didn't want Paris to die just because she sided with a non-career.

"No, I know why you don't want to be with him." He leaned slightly, crossing his arms. "Why with me?".

"Guess I'll figure it out soon enough." He needed to make a connection with this girl, for once the games started there would be no turning back. Harvest reached out his hand and placed it softly on her shoulder, but reeled back quickly hoping the movement didn't bother her. "Being close to your death makes you think a lot Paris, and right now all I'm thinking about is you.". It was a serious statement, for he was beginning to care for her, maybe because it was the last girl he might meet.

Thomas was training again at various stations after lunch. He saw Aron and walked over to him. "So, partners or what? I will protect you. You deserve to win more than me." He said honestly.

Aaron stared at Thomas, "Why do I deserve to win over you? Frankly I don't have anything back at home, few would miss me even." Aaron rolled his thumbs together and looked straight to Thomas, wondering why he wanted to protect him so much, and not anyone else.

"It isn't about what you have back home" Thomas said. "It's about who you are. A few more teammates would be nice, but it isn't necessary. I have watched and taken notes on everyone who is here. You deserve to win, because of who you are. Even through this you have remained pure. Look at that girl over there, she clearly isn't trying. You say you have nothing at home, but you are still trying to survive. I will protect you because you deserve it."

Aaron smiled lightly at Thomas's words. "What you said about me still trying to survive is true, but why don't you deserve to win. Why would you fight for my survival but not yours?" Aaron was quite confused with Thomas's choice, but didn't want to change it, just to see why he felt that way. "And as for your question for being an ally, I would be an idiot to deny."

Paris looked straight into his eyes. Paris then answered the question how he might've answered it. "I pick you instead of Onyx 'cause you have hot biceps," Paris tossed her head and giggled. "And btw, I'm not dying,"
