Fandom The 73th Hunger Games

"Harvest, its so sorry that I have to meet such a beautiful woman, in such harsh conditions." He gave a smirk back, but was being very cautious as what to say, but flirting wasn't a bad tactic right? Either way the only other boy to make a move left, obviously wanting not to show off his skills.

Paris smirked. "Oh, sure it is," she said with a smile. Paris walked over to a rack holding a bow. She grabbed the bow and ran her fingers over the intricate designs. Paris took an arrow and shoot it at the target. She shot at where the lungs, throat, and heart would be.

Aaron gather up the knives and replaced them, he saw that no one was nearby, so he decided to practice a bit of what he's good at. Aaron walked over to where the axes were, grabbing a double-bladed axe and weighing it in his hands. Satisfied Aaron experimentally swung, and took it towards a dummy. Flicking it towards the dummy, Aaron hit dead on, embedding the axe into the mannequin's chest, nearly cleaving it in two. Seeing the damage he had done, Aaron sighed and remembered that this was nessisary, quietly ranting to himself reminding it was kill or be killed, Aaron took the axe out of the dummy and with a simple swing, had taken the dummy's head off, a metal bar revieled inside to support the dummy and take the blows.

Paris turned to see the boy tribute from district 7 kill a dummy. He was also impressive, but not as impressive as Harvest in Paris's taste. The tribute may be useful.

When released, Thomas quickly made his way to the basic survival station and passed with flying colors in no time. He then saw a boy from 7 demolish a dummy and took his chances. He walked over to him and said "That blow was beyond fatal. I would like to be your partner. What do I need to do to prove myself to you? The agility course? Sparing? What?"

Aaron looked to the newcomer who had suddenly appeared, "Thanks, umm, sorry I don't know your name.." Aaron mindlessly lowered the axe and swung it idle by his legs. Thinking for a moment, he then spoke once more, "I'm Aaron, but well what can you do?" He let the tips of the axe ground themselves and Aaron lets the handle loose, but didn't let go.

Harvest walked over to, Paris was her name right, Paris and view her shooting. "Hey don't mean to bother you killing dummies that could be me, but we aren't the only ones getting buddy buddy." He nodded towards the two boys talking, and with that he was off to the edible plants. It was an easy course, and he could point out most that were safe, but he didn't even know what he would find in their arena. With that he began the adjacent course, fire starting, just trying to cover all the bases.

"I'm Thomas Rose, District 4" he said. "And as for what I can do, I have already gotten an almost perfect score over there" he said gesturing to where he came from. "I could try the agility course, I think would be good at that. I know how to keep us fed. A few weapons, whatever you want me to show you. Mostly."

Aaron nodded in understanding, "Yeah, go ahead and do the agility course, I'm heading over to the basic survival area, see what we might encounter." Aaron gestured to the agility course, and then towards the survival stations. "I might go for agility after, see you 'round Thomas." Aaron waved to Thomas as he left towards the survival, noticing Harvest at the fire building station and Aaron decided that he would be a very good ally. "Hey, Harvest was it?" Aaron nodded to the other as he sat down beside him and got to work building his own fire.

"Yes, and what do I owe the pleasure of, Uhm what was your name again?" He asked, noting this was the one who seemed to hide his abilities. He was strong looking, but his arms were the stand point, trumping his in shear definition. With the conversation sparked so was his fire, illuminating their area further.

Thomas did head over to the agility course, and was grateful for his stature. He was no super human, but he did complete the course in a decent time. Except he didn't want decent. He headed back to the start and tried again, ducking, jumping, and climbing when he needed too. His time was slightly better and he tried it several more times before stopping for a break. He decided that was enough for today and would try again tomorrow when the course was changed.

He walked over to the knife station and went over the basics he was taught. Back home it was required to know the basics of knives. The ocean was unpredictable and he might have ended up somewhere unpopulated with only a knife for survival. Yah, it was important. He then proceeded to try and through it. He hit the body, but nothing vital. This gave him something to work on, at least.

Paris gently tapped Harvest's arm. He seemed to be in a conversation with The boy from 7. I waited for them to finish.

Aaron smiled lightly, "Aaron, I'm Aaron. A nice little fire you've got going there." Aaron noticed Harvest's fire and with a nod of approval he looked back to his own, which was starting to emit smoke. "I've seen you fighting, Avox was it? Yes, anyways I've seen your battle with him and you are very skilled." Aaron glamced up to Harvest's face before looking back at his fire-in-progress. "Very admirable." Aaron spoke quieter than before, just above a whisper.

Paris was pretty much waiting. She coughed a few times to get the boy from 7 to cut straight to the point. Hopefully 7 understood.

Aaron looked towards the girl from 1 and nearly frowned at her blunt approach, he remained silent from there on and his fire had burst into flames. Focusing on positioning the sticks so they would burn longer, Aaron looked away from both Harvest and the girl.

"It would keep me warm at night at least." He gave a smile, but got back to the point. "Ah, well, when you become accustomed to a tool for so long it almost seems natural to experiment." The fighting was something he had studied, even going as far to make fake weapons to practice with. He also felt the tapping on his shoulder, and reached behind him to feel the ankle of a lady hopefully. "Just a moment beautiful." He smiled, "Yea, it's harvest, I'm sorry your here Aaron." Harvest thought back to Aaron's moment of fighting the dummy. "Be reluctant here, but you need to come to terms soon." This was a whisper, hoping not to allow the career to hear. She had recognized his skill already, but pointing out Aaron's falts was just low.

Aaron nodded to Harvest, whispering quiet enough that only Harvest would hear, "Thanks Harvest, I'm sorry about you and your family, it must've been hard."

Paris rolled her eyes. She was just about to leave. "Why can't guys, cut to the point," thought Paris. Guys need cut straight to the point when I comes to Paris. When guys asked her out it anything they never cut to the point. Most of the time, she left the poor fella.

"It came as an easy decision, I knew this day would come." With that he stood up, placing a hand on Aaron's shoulder for support. With a couple movements of the feet he turned to face Paris, "Yes sweetheart."

"Well, since everybody is making allies now, I was just thinking that we would be allies? What do you say" Paris got straight to the point.

"A career asking me? Gosh you must think I'm pretty attractive to ask me so straightforwardly." He smiled, but didn't know whether to accept or not. In fact he didn't even know what he planned to do to win this thing, enough to betray a teammate? Who knows.

Paris rolled her eyes. "Ugh, your such a flirt. No, I think your impressive not attractive and all. But alliances will end because there could only be one winner. So, its your choice, tell me if you want to be allies with me,"

He leaned close to the girl, putting his lips beside her ear, "If we both make it to the cornucopia alive then count on it." This was a whisper, but a soothing one and friendly at that. He then leaned back for her to give a response. Its not that he didny trust Aaron, but playing with the career could cause good things. Maybe he would be so like so many others and have a romance during the games, which would ultimately bring donations. Eiher way Paris or Aaron he would have plenty of supporters, which one he chooses would be a different game.

Paris smirked. "I could make it to the cornucopia. If you need sponsors, I'll be there," Paris was pretty sure they both knew how to get sponsors.

"I'll see you there sweetheart." With that he turned and stomped on the fire, turning it to ashes.
