Fandom The 73th Hunger Games

"Oh we will definitely finish that later." He smiled as he began putting all the supplies out of the boxes into the cornucopia.

"I'll be right back," Paris walked into the forest. There were tiny patche of trees here and there. She carried three logs and a few sticks and stones back. She easily started a flame and it quickly turned into a pretty big fire.

"Sure." Harvest kept moving things inside, but all the while he watched her through the gentle snow. "Welcome back beautiful." He beamed at her.

Harvest was so happy, but so confused by her actions. He picked her up and took her inside, passing the fire that was in the entry way. Setting her down he broke the kiss, "Paris, is this just for the supporters?". It was a serious question, but his face showed a tinge of hope it wasn't.

"As long as you say so." He sat away from her, close to the fire. It was obvious that he wasn't convinced, for his face showed sadness.

Paris raised an eyebrow at Harvest. She scooted closer to him, but not to close, she knew he needed space. "Aw, com'on, what's wrong? You dot believe me?" Paris asked concerned.

"That is part of it, just trying to convince myself I won't wake up with you stabbing me." He didn't look at her, but stared into the snowy flurry.

Paris laughed, "Do you actually think I would do that," Paris looked away hurt. She pretended to look through her supplies in her backpack. There was a rope, sleeping bag, thermos, and a pretty much useless knife.

"No, but just trying to come to terms with how I'm going to die" He scooted over to her, putting his arm around her. "I'm sorry, I know you would never o that beautiful.".

Paris had always thought she would come out alive until now. She never doubted herself. "You know, maybe you'll come out alive, instead of me, maybe I'll die here," Since the capital probably heard this, they also probably broadcasted it, her family and district was probably dissapointed in her for doubting herself.

"Oh, how could your lover let that happen to you." He pulled her close, trying to wake her from this doubtful state. "I don't plan to make it out alive if it means you're dead." He said this with certainty, in a matter-of-fact voice. Harvest then looked towards the entrance, knowing a camera was probably near, and let a small smile.

"Go hunting? Isn't that what careers call killing the other tributes." He didn't mind, but he wanted to make sure no one came back to surprise them. "Help me block up the entrance then.". Harvest put the sickles on either side of his pants and began to walk outside, past the fire.

"No, I actually want some food," Paris laughed. "But, yeah, we could knock out some other tribute out," Pars grabbed her shaft of arrows and slung it over her shoulder.

"I'm sure the other tributes and Onyx aren't far, but if you say so." Harvest took the small throwing spear laid by the door.

Paris narrowed her eyes when she heard the name "Onyx". "If we do see Onyx, you know what to do," Paris trudged toward a forest. She had her knives, but when she hunted, she used her bow more. Bows are more helpful while hunting.

Harvest followed Paris, always keeping his back to the cornucopia. Many smoke stacks could be seen from all the tributes staying warm. For every stack there was a death awaiting to happen. "Hurry up Paris, I don't want to be out here long.".

Onyx was rounding the cornucopia, following the smoke stacks with another career. It was another guy and they weren't much for talking, but they were effective.

"Shush, I'm trying too be quick," Paris rolled her eyes. "You might want to be quiet. Lets see if creatures are actually living here," Paris continued walking. "Ugh there's nothing here, should I dive into a lake and get some fish?" She asked. The arena this year made it extremely hard to hunt.

"That lake will freeze you, we have nothing to protect you from hypothermia." He then sighed, for the food at the center was limited, "If we have use it then I will go in.". Harvest then looked over the lake nearby, seeing two figures crouched down getting water. "Get down." He said very sternly, but very quiet. Harvest grabbed her by the waist and pulled her down into a crouch near him.

Onyx and the tribute he nicknamed "Enforcer" were near the lake. "We need to find that dumb b**** and her boyfriend. You can have the guy, but that girl is mine, understand Enforcer!?". They were stained with blood from a fresh kill, not satisfied until they found Paris.

"Aw, sh*t, he's freaking looking for us," Paris was careful not to speak loudly. "What if he finds us?" Paris tensed. Hopefully he didn't go their way.

"Then we kill him, but I doubt he saw us." Harvest watched the two, and wondered if they could make it to the center before they saw. "Only two are there, should we get them.".

Onyx got up, almost falling from the gash on his leg, "God dammit I hate that asshole." He was practically screaming, not caring which tribute heard.

"No, are you kidding? He's literally and monster. Look at him!" Paris stayed crouched down. She had a few throwing knives in her hands. Her bow was also slung over her shoulder. "I would launch an arrow at him, but if I miss, we would be in big trouble,"

"Don't do it, I say we crawl back through the field into the cornucopia. If he comes for us then we can fight in an enclosed space, which is perfect for me." Harvest was a tad bigger than Onyx, which meant in close quarters he could do some real damage since he can't run.
