With the sudden appearance of the Jadoon, Lilac and Carol immediately followed the Doctor's advice and brought their hands up, lowering them when the rhinos had lowered their weapons.


"Rhino people, huh? Thaaat's a new one for me." Carol commented.


They let the Doctor handle talking to the Judoon. They thought about asking him about the whole thing about taking a hospital to the moon, but decided it was probably better just not to ask.


"Count me in as well." Lilac said, upon hearing the Judoon more or less ask them for assistance. She assumed that's what they meant, anyway.


"Would you guys happen to know anything about this alien you're looking for?" Carol asked the Judoon "Or do you just know that he's here and that he has alien DNA?"

"Very well. Your wish has been granted!" It said. Its ears reached in Chara's chest and pulled out her soul, putting it into a soul gem and letting it land in her hand. A white light shone next to her and Asriel was there, his soul and body restored.

Frisk reawakened, stumbling a bit and falling to their knees. The soul gem glowed red, and a vibrant light shone through. "Wait..." They looked at Kyubey. "Why did I regain control?"


Why am I in this gem? Oh, I get it. It's a soul gem. Clever. Frisk frowned.


"Wait, you took out their soul and put it into a gem?" Frisk held out their hand as a glowing red heart floated above it. Their soul: the very culmination of their being. What if that were in a gem? "How does that work for people with only one soul? What happens to the body?"





F-Frisk! To your right! Frisk looked to their right and gasped, putting a hand against their mouth as tears formed at their eyes. There he sat, the ever elusive goal. What they'd been longing for for so long. So long they'd lost count. They ran over to him and fell to their knees.


"A-Asriel!" They said, crying from happiness. Chara's soul gem shone brilliantly, a great red light, much brighter than before shining through.




Okabe was beginning to settle down. To Flowey's protests, he'd been put in his and Kurisu's room. He trusted Amber and everything, but Flowey was still shaken about earlier and wasn't happy with Amber. It wasn't her fault, of course. She'd done nothing wrong. She just happened to be the bearer of bad news, and unfortunately Flowey wasn't quite able to distinguish that. Not that Okabe blamed him. He'd need some time.


Kurisu and Okabe uncomfortably got into the same bed. They quickly went to work on setting up a pillow divider line between the two of them.


"I know how much of a creep you are, so don't think about making any moves on me while I'm sleeping!" Kurisu said defiantly. Okabe sighed.


"Hey, it could be worse. You could be stuck with Daru." Kurisu groaned.


"Point taken I suppose. Whatever, goodnight... creep."


"Night assistant." She groaned a bit. "Night Flowey." He waited for a response, anything at all. Nothing. No snide remark, no sigh or groan, nothing genuine, nothing at all. Okabe got up to see if he was sleeping or something and looked at him before gasping.


"What is it now?"


"Christina! There's something really wrong!" Kurisu frowned.


"What?" Okabe turned Flowey to her. "No need to handle him so roughly-" She gasped. "B-but wha-"


"We need to notify Amber!" Kurisu nodded and they both ran out carrying Flowey to where Amber was, hoping she hadn't already settled in. When they got to her, they notified her something was wrong and showed her Flowey.


Where his face normally was, there was nothing. Absolutely nothing.


He was no longer Flowey the Flower. Just...


A flower.

She was about to ask why they were showing her this, until she remembered that it was the same flower that was Flowey "Wha-... What's this? What happened?" "That's Flowey!" Okabe said in a bit of a panic. How could someone just disappear?


"We don't know what happened," Kurisu continued in a somewhat more calm manner. She still had evident panic in her voice, but she kept her voice even. "One minute we were bringing him into our room, he was making his usual snide remarks, the next silence and... this."

So I don't know how to go about fixing this." Kurisu thought intently, begging and pleading her mind to come up with SOME idea, any idea.

Frisk smiled and ran their fingers through Asriel's fur, verifying it was indeed him. Asriel was snoring softly to himself, and occasionally letting out a bleat which Chara always chuckled at. Always thought that was adorable. Frisk nodded and picked up Asriel, struggling to hold him but not letting go. The crashing yet calm brine, the soothing breeze, the salty scent of the ocean, and an incredibly long task completed. Frisk couldn't help it. They felt it swelling, burning inside them. That feeling... of success. After so long of failure they'd almost forgotten what it'd felt like.


They were filled with determination.


"Thank you," they said to Kyubey. "First to return Asriel home to Toriel for safekeeping. Then off to deal with the danger in the city." They began walking back towards the house carrying Asriel bridal style. Asriel shivered from the cold and burrowed his face into the nook of Frisk's arm, which they found absolutely adorable.

Okabe and Kurisu continued looking, searching for any signs nearby of anything that could have caused it, anything out of place, yet nothing came up. "I can't find anything," Okabe piped up.


"Me neither," Kurisu added.

Frisk stumbled towards the group carrying Asriel's sleeping, cuddling body. They hid Chara's soul gem in a pocket and approached them a bit quicker.

"Why not just escort him back to his own universe?" The Doctor suggested "I do have a TARDIS."

After scanning the Priest the Judoon commander marked his hand with a cross "Human." This surprised both The Doctor and Tesla as the Judoon marched further into the city.
