Alex looked over at Nate when he started talking. "I'd consider it dark and enclosed but I've also never played the game before. It's a basic office, nothing crazy important here." Alex agreed, a smile on his face. He watched as Nate moved towards him, and felt him take his hand. Alex moved when Nate pulled him close. Alex wrapped his arms around Nate's neck, even though it broke their hand hold, and looked at him. "I can't wait to have a place to call our own. Somewhere peaceful and quiet." He said, leaning in and kissing Nate gently. This was all Alex ever wanted. A dream slowly coming true for him.​

Nate melted into Alex’s hold and kiss. His arms slid around Alex’s back, fingers taking hold of the fabric of his clothing. There was nothing he wanted more than to have their own place where they could do things like have big meals with a family, have filled rooms with things they care about like dresses no one needs but they would love to have, and kiss in dark and enclosed spaces like offices or closets or wherever else they just want to. Have their own bedrooms where everyone can be themselves either on their own or with their person. “I love you, my beautiful monkey man. Wherever we end up, I am so glad I’m with you.”

Alex smiled into the little kiss as he felt Nate's arms slide around his back and felt the fingers holding his shirt. He longed for more of these quiet moments. In their own place. They could have these big dinners with family, be able to have things that they want and not have to worry about it fitting in their packs. He pulled back a moment later, eyes locked on Nate. "I love you too, my handsome medic. I'm so thankful that I found you and I get to be with you." He responded. He rested their foreheads together, taking in the peaceful moment. The safe moment they found themselves in.​

His arms slid from Alex’s back to his chest as he took in their moment. One glorious, fabulous moment of perfect. One of many to come. Many that night alone he was sure. He tilted his head up to press one more kiss to his love’s lips before resting his forehead back against Alex’s. “We should probably go back down to the two of them. Maybe show off all of our finds. Hope we aren’t interrupting anything too scary.” He laughed at his own joke. Who knew with Carlos. He could get into so much trouble anywhere it felt. Nate took that hand back and reluctantly began walking out of this little office and to the hallway.

He loved that kiss before their foreheads pressed together again. He loved this, all of this. He couldn't wait to have their own room, apart from the others. He chuckled himself, hearing that. "Yes, hopefully we don't interrupt anything. I can't wait to see Carlos' face when I show him that dress. And on that note, we are taking rooms across the hall from each other once we go to bed." Alex added with a laugh, even as Nate took his hand back, though Alex was right behind him. He headed out into the hallway, putting the clothes over his shoulder. The dress however, that was folded neatly in his hands. It was the first thing he was going to share with the two downstairs.​

Nate snorted out a laugh as he too started tossing clothes over his shoulder. “Is that because you don’t want to deal with Carlos after he has been playing every intimate party game he could possibly imagine? Because I do not know how that is going to go for any of us.” He stepped behind Alex so that he could take that dress down there first. None of the rest of this was nearly as exciting. He wanted to see this reaction so badly. Some pants and shirts were nothing compared to this thing. Oh, and when they showed him the picture of who used to wear it. His thing for strong people was going to make it even better.

Alex looked over at Nate with a laugh. “That would be exactly the reason. If he gets crazy, I don’t want to deal with that. I think tonight will be fun over all.” Alex said as he headed down the stairs. “Is it safe to come out there?” Alex called out. He wanted to make sure he wasn’t stepping into a dining room nightmare. “I’ve got presents for you two.” He added.​

Nate giggled as he followed down the stairs. What they heard from the stairs was “Mmm safe?” Some mumbling he could not quite hear. “Define safe, Handsome.” And then in a much smoother tone, “Maybe no one is safe. But I do like presents.” Well, that couldn’t be good. Or maybe it was fine and Carlos was being Carlos? He followed Alex to the dining room where he poked his head in. Carlos was admittedly draped across Kaleb, but they looked for the most part tame. He had his journal out and numerous pencils and art supplies. This was the first time Nate saw it in action. He knew Carlos loved his art, but they never really stopped long enough for him to do it.

Alex laughed as he came down the stairs, shaking his head. He wondered sometimes about their little family. As Alex entered the dining room, he saw Carlos draped over Kaleb but he was doing art in his journal. “Well if you like presents, I’ve got one for you.” He said, shifting the dress before he revealed it. “Found this one just for you.” He said with a smile. Kaleb, used to this behavior and him draped over Kaleb, looked over with a smile. “That’s beautiful. I can’t wait to see you wearing it love.”​

“What did you get me?” Carlos asked, mid drawing a scene with the four of them. He was certainly intrigued with the way Kaleb responded to whatever it was. He looked up, expecting to see some sort of interesting shirt or something. Instead. Alex was standing there with hands down the most amazing dress that Carlos had ever seen. Granted, the amount of dresses he had seen in his life were small but still. “Oh my god you found one!” He jumped out of his chair (and Kaleb’s chair) and bounded towards Alex. “You certainly wanted that deal to come through didn’t you, Handsome?” He ran a hand down the dress and shook his head. “My oh my, Blue Eyes and all isn’t it?” He reached up and rubbed at Alex’s cheek. “How did you know that was my favorite color?”

Alex looked at Carlos, laughing as he bounded out of both the chair and Kaleb’s lap. “I couldn’t help myself. The idea was just to good and opportunity arose.” Alex told him, a smile on his face. He was glad that he could bring so much joy to Carlos. It made him happy. He felt his cheeks heat up at the rub on one of them but he didn’t care. He knew which one had his heart, and while he loved Carlos and his flirty actions will always make him blush, that was nothing on the love he had for Nate. “I took a wild guess that blue was your favorite color.”​

Carlos twirled around and pulled at Kaleb’s hands. “Not just any blue, Handsome.” He knelt down on one knee and put one of his hands on Kaleb’s cheek, similar to what he just did with Alex, but the look he gave Kaleb could never be rivaled. Nate, who was over carrying all of these clothes, tossed his pile onto the dining table and took his spot beside Alex to watch. He smiled at Carlos’ smile as he stared at his muse. “His blue.” He stared for a little while longer before turning his attention back to Alex. “How did you do that?” He asked incredulously. “How did you find my favorite blue?”

Alex could only smile at the display of love before him. Much like Alex and Nate, their love was just as beautiful to witness. It was clear the difference between when Carlos had rubbed at his cheek to when he rubbed Kaleb’s cheek. Alex simply shrugged. “Fate. Much like how we met each other and hunters drove us this way to find this town.” He said. “Now, are you going to show off the dress or did I find it for nothing?”​

“Oh he’s trying this thing on,” Nate answered for him. “Come on, lover boy, I can’t probably get it on you. Alex, why don’t you get Kaleb in his fancy pants so Carlos can ogle at him some more.” Nate chuckled. “We can have a preview of what’s to come.”

Carlos was absolutely ecstatic. This dress was ridiculous, beautiful, and everything that this bizarre family stood for. The fact that Alex found it was amazing. Nate was going to get him in it. It was the right blue. Kaleb was going to marry him. Everything was perfect. “Okay okay, I’m coming.” He looked back at those blue eyes again, and he couldn’t help himself but kiss him. “I’ll be right back, love.” Nate pulled on his hand to get him up and he did oblige.

Kaleb couldn’t wait to see Carlos in the dress. It was stunning and would look good on him. He smiled into the kiss before nodding. “I can’t wait dear.” He said before following Alex who’d taken all the clothes off his shoulder save for pants and a shirt. He led the way to the other room, and Kaleb slid off his clothes. Alex helped him adjust the pants once they were on, but the black dress pants fit Kaleb well. The shirt, well. The blue button up needed a little tucking here and there before he was done.

“You look perfect” Alex told him. “Carlos will have no clue what hit him.” He added. Kaleb looked down and smiled. The happiest smile he could wear. Kaleb hugged Alex and kissed his cheek before pulling away.

“Thank you. For everything. You’re like the brother I never had.” Kaleb told him. Alex placed a hand on his shoulder and squeezed gently.

“You two deserve it from what I’ve gathered.” He said. Then he led him out to the large main entrance area. “I’ve got one handsome man out here waiting. And no it’s not me!” Alex called.​

Nate grabbed the dress and tugged Carlos out of the room, because if he left Carlos to his own devices, he would never actually come with him. Nate was taking him from both of the two people Carlos seemed to like so much. He pulled him into a room upstairs with a long mirror and laid out the dress. “Alright, big guy, strip for me.” Carlos laughed so loudly he was sure that the others could hear him. Since neither of them were exactly used to dealing with dresses, this was going to be a challenge, but who liked a challenge more than Carlos? They pulled the dress up from the bottom, and worked at pulling it together around him. Thankfully, it was one of those that had the ties in the back so they could let it loose and pull it tighter where necessary.

“Think we’ll be able to find you some matching heels before the real wedding?” Nate asked as he yanked on the cords in the back.

Carlos shrugged. “If anyone can walk in them, it’s me,” he stated proudly.

Nate snorted and pushed him forward. “You’re not wrong, big guy. Now turned around take a look. Who couldn’t love someone wearing this?”

Carlos took it in a moment, the places that Nate worked hard to fit around his body like dresses were meant to be, and nodded. “Oh yeah, I’m hot.” To which Nate rolled his eyes. Carlos raised his brows. Nate did the same. “You know it’s true.” Nate rolled his eyes again.

“You ready to go show your boy? Because I am pretty sure he’ll love anything, but this will be the highlight of his life.”

Carlos suddenly wrapped his arms around Nate and planted a big kiss on his cheek. “Okay okay okay.” He bounced a little before nodding fervently. Nate could swear he might be shaking. “Okay can we can go see him now?” His voice was almost small like an excited kid instead of the big, strong man that he was.

Nate took his hand as he nodded. “Yeah, let’s go find him.” At the top of the stairs, he yelled down, “I’ve got a gorgeous gentleman who cannot wait one more moment to see his handsome man.” He moved out of the way for Carlos to start moving down the stairs. “Go get him.”

Kaleb looked up the stairs, and his heart stopped before it started racing. He thought that Carlos was handsome in anything, but this. Kaleb was falling head over heels all over again, as he watched the gorgeous man come down the stairs. He was sure that the look on his face was probably awe, shock and complete and utter adoration. The blue dress looked so good on his Strong Arms. On his trouble maker. It fit perfectly, like it was made for him. His eyes never left Carlos, he couldn’t look away even if the world was exploding around them. He had to remind himself to breathe. Which in and of itself was hard normally when he was around Carlos, but now it was so much harder. Kaleb couldn’t even speak, he was thoroughly both out of breath and tongue tied at the same time.

Alex had stepped back the moment he heard Nate call down. This moment would probably last in his mind forever. The awestruck face on Kaleb was breathtaking, and even Alex had to admit that Carlos definitely pulled off the dress. He looked very gorgeous indeed.​

It seemed kind of silly that he was all jittery when he had spent the last several years with this man, but now it was all exciting and new. Carlos did not want to walk down these stairs. He wanted to run and find Kaleb. He briefly forgot that the whole point was to be in the outfits for their wedding, and he remembered that the second he looked down and saw him. His Blue Eyes in that matching blue shirt. Matching this dress. Matching those beautiful eyes. Carlos loved Kaleb in everything. He saw him in uniforms, clothes from different parts of the country. Nothing. Carlos loved clothes because they could change the attitude of the moment. He was not expecting to have this kind of reaction. The overwhelming sense of longing broke through his body like his bones exploded. That was his Kaleb in the best color in the entire world, matching the most gorgeous eyes, matching him, because he wanted to marry Carlos. He wanted to be with him. He wanted Carlos like Carlos wanted him. He loved him more than anything in the whole world. He made it about halfway down before he gave up and ran down the stairs and collided with Kaleb. His hands pressed against his cheeks as he kissed him like they were alone, because in his mind they were. This was his entire universe. His fingers slid into Kaleb’s hair, those beautiful golden locks.

Nate watched from the top of the stairs with his hands clasped over his chest. His little heart was not going to make it watching them. He slowly made his way down the stairs after Carlos was already attached to Kaleb. He made his way to Alex and wrapped an arm around his waist. “Look what you did.”

Kaleb was impatiently waiting at the bottom of the stairs, his eyes glued to Carlos. This was a man he’d fallen for, a man who’d left everything behind to travel the unknown with him. He’d spent hours with him, and would spend hours more. His eyes never left the sight before him, and he couldn’t help the wide smile that crossed his face when he watched Carlos come running the rest of the way down. His arms opened automatically and wrapped around the body that collided with his. The hands on his cheeks, that ran up to slide into his hair, and that kiss. The kiss that made his entire world shrink down to one person. One of his hands traveled from where they’d been flat on Carlos’ back up to behind his head, fingers tangling in his hair. He also used that hand to apply pressure to the kiss as well.

Alex watched the display, his heart happy. He looked at Nate as he came down from the stairs. Smiling, he felt Nate’s arm wrap around his waist. Alex rested his head on Nate’s shoulder. “I know. Isn’t it beautiful?” He asked in a soft voice.​

Nate rested his head on Alex’s with his own big grin. “You know, I never thought I’d see a grown man in a dress, and yet here we are, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sight so beautiful.” He laughed a little at a thought. “How are we ever going to play all those games now?” Because as they watched, those two looked like they were firmly one. They were such an amazing pair. That, he realized, was something that Nate wanted. That unshakable love that kept you desiring for that same person. That endless passion that lasted for years and years even after finding other attractive people and apparently kissing anyone that breathed. Fancy clothes and the promises of a happily ever after. Maybe that was him and Alex too? Maybe that could be their forever.

Carlos’ self control was admittedly minimal but far better than it was when they first met. He went from QZ flirt who might have known just about everyone on some far more personal level than many would deem appropriate to still a relatively obnoxious flirt but very much attached to one in particular. He was usually pretty good about reading the room and situation to determine when and how much he could do without causing too much of a problem. Playing with Alex was fun but pushing it with Nate. Insisting on his relationship with Kaleb was one of those potentially dangerous things to do. But it was definitely the best decision he ever made. That being said, his self control was gone. It took a good moment before he even let himself breathe, but when he did, he snuffed that breath out only immediately. It took a while for him to finally break their kiss long enough for him to barely say, “you’re taking this off later tonight, Blue Eyes.”

Alex smiled when he felt Nate rest his head on Alex's. It was nice, comfortable. "I'll admit that I didn't think I would either, but he does pull it off." Alex chuckled, looking at the beautiful sight before him. "I'm sure that we will eventually get to those. Are you so eager to be trapped in a closet with Carlos now?" He asked, glancing up at Nate with a teasing grin. Alex knew the difference in love between each of them. Kaleb and Carlos had something so pure just like Nate and Alex. He held no jealousy for how Carlos acted, it was just who the man was. He knew the love he had for Nate, it was powerful and a force of its own. Something that kept him stuck to Nate's side where he wanted to be forever.

Kaleb held tight to the kiss, it broke once just long enough to suck in a breath before they were at it again. This love was something that Kaleb never wanted to let go. And he wouldn't. Carlos was his person, like Kaleb was Carlos' and even with the flirtatious comments and kisses he paid Alex and even that little bit with Nate, he knew better. When the kiss finally broke for long enough to speak, Kaleb laughed breathlessly. "I'm glad there is more than one room in this house because that sounds like a plan to me."​

Nate laughed because it was silly. This whole thing was a bit silly even if it was also heartwarming and amazing. If someone were to have told him just a week ago that he was going to be standing in the world’s best house that was just about perfect when it came to dreams of what Nate wanted watching some fairytale of a romance where the flirt who was all over his Alex was in a fabulous dress that was for sure showing off how it didn’t fit in the back now that he was all over his fiancé he was madly in love with, Nate would have thought that sounded crazy. Ben would tell him to stop dreaming. Max would have told him it was sweet to make up such a nice happy ending. His mama would have told him there’s no such thing as a best house anymore. Look at this, Mama. Look what we were working so hard to find. He brought a hand to Alex’s face to guide it from its position gazing at the lovebirds to him so that he could kiss him. “He wishes,” Nate grinned before turning his attention back to the two attached and said, “Okay, that’s enough happily ever after stuff. I was promised games. Don’t make us sad over here.” He said smiling just as much as Alex.

Carlos bit his lower lip as he pressed their foreheads together. “We could teach them a thing or two in the same room,” he teased before leaning around to face their others. “Oh, I’m so ready for games.” He reached around and spun Kaleb so that he eventually was holding him close to his chest from behind so that they were both looking at Alex and Nate. He wrapped his arms tightly around his love, and rested his head on Kaleb’s. “Handsome, you’re our sweet baby who deserves fun. What do you want to play now that we’re in a nice big house to play them in?”

Alex felt his smile widen when Nate brought his hand up to his face. He happily kissed Nate back before he chuckled. "Don't worry, I'll protect you from the big bad Carlos" Alex told him, before he looked back at the two over at the foot of the stairs. He watched Carlos look at them as he leaned around Kaleb before he twisted the oldest man around and looked at them. Alex laughed at the two of them before he thought for a moment. "Well, I've been eager to do some truth or dare now that one of us isn't so grumpy." Alex said, teasingly Nate playfully. "We can use the living room, its big enough." He added.

Kaleb let out a soft chuckle as Carlos pressed their foreheads together. "You are crazy, but I love you." Kaleb told him. Something he told Carlos often as they traveled together. He knew the moment Nate mentioned the games, Carlos would be down. Kaleb felt Carlos spun him so that he was back to Carlos' chest. The smile on his face never went down, in fact it was wider than it had ever been. He felt that tight wrap from Carlos, and his head rested on Kaleb. "Truth or Dare again.. perhaps this will end better." Kaleb chuckled.​

“I can behave,” Nate promised. “Unless anyone else has any additional secrets that might make me grumpy. It seems unlikely.” He took Alex’s hand and led him into the living area where he plopped down on the nicely preserved couch. If they were going to play a potentially dangerous game, they might as well be comfy while they do it.

Carlos kissed the top of Kaleb’s head. “It will definitely end well. Neither of us are enemy number one anymore, so there’s nothing to stop us.” And because Carlos was the way he was, he didn’t just follow them into the room like a normal person. No of course not. Instead, he without warning swept Kaleb into his arms and carried him into the living area before gently throwing him onto the love seat. “Okay let’s do this. Handsome, how do you want to start this?”

Alex chuckled at that. "Okay." He said, following Nate into the living room. He sat down on the couch beside him, but he propped his legs up and leaned against Nate. Comfortable. Safe. Two words he never thought he'd hear. Alex looked at the door and shook his head as he saw Carlos carry Kaleb in, and what a sight that was. Especially with the dress on. He looked at Carlos when he spoke. "Hmm. I think I'll start us off with Nate this time. Truth or Dare Nate?" He asked him, looking at him.

Kaleb felt the kiss on top of his head. He was about to agree when he was swept up into Carlos' arms and he laughed. Kaleb would never say no to being carried, he found it sweet and loved it. Kaleb rested his head on Carlos' chest until he felt himself thrown on the love seat gently, shifting himself so he was comfortable. He looked over at Alex who started this game off, a game that should be much better than the last time.​
