Okay so since I'm indecisive and struggling a bit, I figure I'd ask for a bit of help deciding a character between the 2 I've been stuck on. So I'm gonna give lil descriptions and feel free to tell me what sounds most fun:

-Awkward, nerdy mechanic who sucks at social interactions
-Smol, kinda greedy merchant furball who also is motherly

Gotta say mechanic it's not like I'm RPing an android or anything

Have my character's motivation be to take a Gym & E4 route (so that they can get the attention of someone who could bring them home) or to be more oriented towards exploring the region for a way back (and appreciating the view)?

You will be allowed to travel as far as you'd like it just will take time of course, but you aren't restricted to only staying in one area for the rp
