Taking Flight [Inactive]

Jack nodded and took the meat out of the flames and gave a piece to dare," it isn't the best but its what we got to work with. Hey if you don't mind me asking how long have you been a loner." this is a question he brought up a lot now and he always wanted to know
 
Hearing a voice beside her, Alia blinked and looked to the side seeing a boy sitting next to her. She didn't know what to say, but she tried to come up with something. "Oh....well I've been in this tribe all my life....I'm Alia. I protect and train the children of our tribe," she said softly.
 
Smiles lightly chuckling a little "I was joking. Yeah I remember you but I'm pretty sure you don't even know me heh."
 
"Yeah, sorry I don't pay much attention to anyone besides the children," she said, a small smile appearing on her lips. "What do you do anyways?"
 
Smiles lightly "I guard you and all the children. Well kind of I make sure the area is safe heh heh." looks down thinking
 
"Ahhh I see. Well, sorry if I come off as stuck up or cold, or whatever. I'm just used to being on my own and I don't really talk to people in the tribe. I'd rather keep to myself and stay quiet..." She eyed him out of the corner of her eye looking him over.
 
As Ali was flying around making the trip to the lake as fun as you can make it, she spotted some people seated on a log. They looked like they had something on their backs.


As she came closer, Ali realised they were wings. Wow, how many actual Angels come out to the forest during the day? she asked herself before swooping down to watch the two.
 
Nods and stands up "I respect you want your privacy I mean after being with children all the time heh heh." spreads my wings and gets ready to jump up into the air
 
Jack grabbed his weapons and stood up. " I'm going to scout the area to see if we need to move." he looked down at dara and smiled he then walked into the forest with his dagger in hand he wanted to cover a large area so he marked some trees with the letter j. Eventually he heard some muffled voices and as he kept walking they got clearer. The voices lead him to the edge of a clearing where two angels were talking. He decided to put his dagger and revolver in his pack. He then walk out into the clearing and said hi to the two new angels
 
Jumps in front of girl beside me guarding anything from coming at her with hate written all over my face "What are you doing here human?"
 
Oh yeah, obviously HE is gonna pop up wherever Angels are. Lucky he's on our side, Ali chirp at Jack before swooping down and landing on his head.


She sticks out her tongue before pecking Jack in the nose. How does he find all the Angels anyway...
 
Notices the Magpie and caws at her to see her response "Caw!" ( Are you angel? ) (( Directed to the bird on Jack. ))
 
Ali pokes her tongue out at the other Angel and nods.


Wonder what's gonna happen, wish I had some food, Ali thought as she perched on Jack's head.
 
When he stood up, Alia felt the urge to stop him. "No! Wait...I haven't had anyone to talk to in so long and it's actually nice...I mean you don't have to stay if you don't want to, but you don't have to go..."
 
Some nearby trees rustled and something landed on a branch. It was a girl, dangling a scythe from her current perch. Vulture-like wings spread out behind her and dark eyes half-closed. Lucifer sighed, "Bored again.." Her sharp, sadistic-like voice scratched out faintly.
 
Jack grinned," oh I'm just scouting the area and I happen to run into a few angels and this bird on my head her name is Ali and it seems we keep running into each other." he chuckled then removed his pack and sat down trying not to knock off Ali .
 
Laughs "Ah. Okay well..." Smiles lightly seeming to try to ignore the human but ready to listen to the bird on his head "I'd love to stay and talk."
 
Oh real subtle friend, Ali thinks as she squints her eyes at the Angel in front of Jack and her.


"Listen," she manages to caw out at the two.


Don't need to ignore him, they could listen, but this is interesting, Ali thinks as she tries to climb down on to Jack's shoulder.
 
Jack heard a slight rustling in the distance but didn't think much of it. He looked at the two angels and said," my names jack what are your names if you feel comfortable answering that." he smiled a friendly smile hoping to relieve some of the tension in the air
 
Alia looked at the man she was talking to and smiled, then blinked at the bird and human. "Uhmmm....so what is your name? I don't think you introduced yourself......"
 
Lucifer jerked her head around, hearing faint voices and caws. Fully shifting to vulture form, she took off towards the noises. Landing in another tree about a dozen feet from everyone, she shifted back again, keeping her wings out to allow herself to be hidden.
 
He got up and grinned, "names jack nice to meet you to so are you guys in a tribe or something or have you two just meet." he grinned and chuckled a bit. What was with him and meeting so many angels today.

Jeez, Jack's head is so fat there isn't any shoulder left! Ali had squeezed herself on to Jack's shoulder as they talked.


The sounds in the distance stopped but Ali thought nothing of it.
