Kota smiled as he watched with arms folded, perhaps he too would be able to learn from Rei's teaching style, and he had hopes of picking up some things to combine into his own. Himiko's proposition proved pretty interesting however he felt that training the soldiers alongside Okami was his calling for the time being. The floor had been relinquished to Rei to do as she saw fit with her pupils however the wolf would provide them with some advice beforehand, her words true. The foundation, mastering the basics, provides the brightest future for one progressing down this path. Hopefully, these aspiring warriors would hold that close to their souls.

Kota took a look around, seeing the village hard at work, he could feel himself slowly becoming more invested in Taeko. It reminded him of his village, its people were struggling and had very little but they were hellbent on survival, everyone's soul burning with passion to see the sunrise the next day. He saw an extension of himself within its residents, feeling as though it was his duty to ensure Taeko's survival.
