This is what happened when I miss one night? It feels like The Hunted all over again xD )


Jepitha was asleep when he heard knocking at his door, and then someone saying something about giving candy to a kid. "W-what?" He asked in a confused whisper as he sat up to let his brain wake up a little at least. When he noticed that Kinos bed was empty, the gears in his head started to turn, he then remembered the voice from last night. Jepitha clinched his fist as he equipped his armor and growled. "The little piece of shit." In German before he opened the door. "Sorry, no kids." He said before he went to kick the man in the stomach.

Hisashi's footsteps echoed through the hallway as he slowly walked towards the man, and he equipped the poisoned dagger.


He pulled down the hood of his cloak, showing that he was wearing his Wolf-Skull mask around his mouth.


Once he was close enough, he activated his mostly unused sword skill, and threw the dagger, which embedded itself in his eye.


He continued walking, and faced the man, his eyes cold, and emotionless.


"Hm? Oh, you know..." His voice came out slightly muffled, "the girl let me out. The dead one." He pulled the dagger from the man's eye, and kicked his knee, fro in him onto the ground, due to the paralysis still on the knife. He stabbed the knife into his eye again, twisted it, and pulled it back out. And repeated this a few times.


"What was her name again? Celia? Celesca? No. Celesica, right?"

Maoni was surprised when she spotted the one clan's leader...What was it..that blood clan thing? Whatever, she didnt care. Quickly eqipping her sword, she was about to charge but that was before she spotted Hisashi who was on the other side of the hall. The events happened quickly as Hisashi began to turn into a violent monster. Sure, this was a game but just seeing the broken bits and pieces of the character flying out of the guy's eye reminded her of blood. Dropping her sword she ran towards Hisashi with a cold look "Hisashi!" she yelled as she shoved him away from the Leader. "Stop this!' she watched as he stumbled and fell to his rear "This is not who you are!" her eyes narrowed

Hisashi stood up and pushed past Maoni, still focused on the guild leader. His hands shook as he lifted the dagger again.


"You weren't there. You didn't hear what he said. What he said he'd do to you. To all of you!" He glanced around at everyone, wide-eyed.


Hisashi looked down at the man again, and drove the knife into his eye again, watching his health bar steadily decrease.


"It won't happen. I won't LET IT happen! Not again! He WONT GET AWAY WITH IT!" His voice wavered, as he continued to stab the man in the eye.

Maoni couldnt believ Hisashi, he just switched to a completely different person. Growling, she grabbed his jacket and pulled him off the man, throwing him back again and this time pointing the sword she reaquipped right at his throat "You need to stop this Hisashi! Killing this man will not make things easy on your shoulders! Trust me when I say it." he had to stop this nonsense. "Kino, jep, get this guy out of here. Hisashi doesnt seem like himself right now. And i'm not going to risk having a casualty."

Hisashi stared blankly at Maoni, never trying to escape from his position.


"I wouldn't." He called to Jep and Kino,


"If he gets free, he'll just come back, he told me that. He said he'd torture you like he did to me. Then kill you. Slowly." His eyes shifted back to Maoni and he held her gaze for a good second.


His teeth clenched under his mask, and he put his hand on the sword, and pushed himself up, and pulled it closer so that the tip of the sword began to pierce his skin.


"Do you really think you would have it in you to kill me? Be sure you can if you're gonna threaten me." He hissed, as his health bar slowly dropped from the sword.

Maoni just narrowed her eyes and pulled the sword away, tossing it and slapping Hisashi right across the face "You have completely gone insane in this game, Hisashi." she grabbed his shirt and held it in her fist as she pulled him close, her gaze had been intense. Maoni's eyes just continue to stick to his "You need to calm down, take a breather. We're not weak people, we can take care of ourselves too. If he does happen to come after us, we can take care of him ourselves." He was being violent, Irrational.

Hisashi started up at Maoni, and his jaw tightened. He sighed, and a tear rolled down his face.


"You know..." He whispered, "I've heard all of that before, just not from you." He reached up and pulled his mask down, and smiled weakly.


"You all remind me so much of them..." He gently pulled Maoni's hand from his shirt, and stood up, wiping his face. "That's why, that's why," his voice trailed off, and he looked over to the Blood Ogre leader, who was still there, health bar in the red.


He sighed, and walked over to pull the knife from his face and he stared at it, turning it over in his hand.


He suddenly stopped, and his smile dropped. "That's why I have to do this." He said, as he slashed the dagger across the man's neck as hard as he could.

Maoni thought Hisashi finally calmed down. It hurt her to watch him cry but he needed to realize that he was going too far. As he pushed past her, she watched as he then walked over to the man and took out the knife. That was before a last hit was made, making Maoni widen her eyes "Hisashi No!" it was too late, the guy's body was fading away into the computer world "What the hell Hisashi!" she ran over and grabbed him, throwing him into a wall and pinning him there "Why the hell would you do that!? You didnt have to kill him!" she then threw him onto the floor. Her own anger getting the best of her "You could have avoided all of this!":

Jepitha was silent during the entire conversation, he watched the two of them silently. He then saw Hisashi finally killing the man that tortured him. He looked away just because of the bright light the man made when he finally died, Jepitha never got used to looking at the bright outline of each dead player he witnessed, which were a lot.


He looked back to see Maoni throwing Hisashi around the bar in a fit of rage. When the two were on the ground, Jepitha approached them and wrapped his arms around Maoni, and then picked her up slightly forceful, to get her off of Hisashi.

Hisashi didn't resist as Maoni pinned him to the wall, or when she threw him on the ground. He simply allayed there, teeth clenched, tears streaming down his face.


Above him, his cursor glowed orange.


"He would've come back. He ambushed me, took advantage of the fact I was alone. There were at least ten of them. I couldn't imagine any of you going through the pain I went through! I couldn't let that happen! Not again!" He cried, standing up as Jepitha pulled Maoni off of him.


"WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE?" He yelled, voice shaking, as was his whole body.

As Maoni was pulled off of Hisashi, she didnt dare resist but she still yelled "I would have protected you all! Every time those guys came back I would make them run for their lives each time they engage!" tears filled her eyes "I wouldnt have killed him!" she even hated seeing that his bar had changed. He wasnt green..but him being the color he was, was only temp. Not permantely. Which was the good thing in this whole situation. Tears began to fall down her face now "How could you kill him, Hisashi..."

"You can't honestly think it would be that easy!" Hisashi yelled back. "He said there were more than just the guild members on this floor, last night in the tavern! It wouldn't have stopped until SOMEONE was killed! I just had to make sure it was him and not any of you!" He yelled shakily, tears not stopping and they fell down the sides of his face.


He stopped and stood, head down, and wiped his face as his ragged breathing began to slow.


"I'm not gonna ask you to forgive what I've done. I won't expect you to either." He said, not looking up. "Honestly, at this point I don't care if you hate me forever. You're safe, and that's all that matters to me." He said, looking up slowly.


"Just promise me you won't die. Not in this damn game." He said, pulling up his mask and his hood before turning to walk towards the stairs to leave through the bar.

Maoni just watched with a pained heart and as he turned to walk away, she yelled "Coward!" Kino might have tought her something "Why are you walking from us, Huh!? Why dont you stay here?! I'm the only one really beating you up about this but whaty about Kino and jep, Huh?! You're going to leave after what you just did!?" her voice had been cracking as she yelled at him. Slowly, Maoni lowered her head as she cried softly. She didnt want him to leave them even though she had done the same..but she came back.

Hisashi turned and his eyes betrayed his sad smile. "Nah, I'm not running from you guys. I've got an orange cursor now. I'll probably be kicked from the town in a few minutes, anyways. Orange players are denied access from most towns. Plus," he sighed.


"There's no doubt the Blood Ogre guild will come after me sooner or later, and you guys weren't involved with what just happened, so it wouldn't feel right getting you all caught up in this." He turned around once again.


"B'sides, I doubt you wanna hang around me anyways."

"That's a big fat lie and you know it! Your orange stats makes even a more bigger reason to stay with you!" Lifting her head, she now just looked like she had been crying for ages. "You're not going to be on your own and be at risk of being ambushed." she tried slipping from Jep's grip "Jep please let me go..." Maoni's eyes moved towards Jep who was behind her "We cant let him go.." Hisashi was so stubbern, trying to find ways to leave, but Maoni wasnt buying it "S-Stay with us, Hisashi.."

Jepitha looked down at Maoni for a second before he did something. He was able to toss her over his shoulder, and then he was able to do the same with Hisashi, seemingly unaware to everyone else in the group, they were all being stared at by everyone else in town, especially since they were in a public space. "Come on Kino." He said as he walked into his and Kinos room to discuss in some privacy.

Hisashi let out and "oof!" As Jep threw him over his shoulder like it was nothing.


"Put me down! Unless you want to get teleported out with me!" He squirmed around but it was no use, Jepitha was stronger.


He gave up and hung limply, eventually glancing over to look at Maoni.


He hated himself for making her cry again, but he decided he preffered her be mad at him rather than being dead.

Kino sat on his bed, hands in his hair as he was unsure of what just happened. One second the man was alive... And then poof. He looked over to Maoni who was standing cross armed in one corner of a room, and then saw Hisashi leaning back in a chair, arms cross. In the very center stood Jep.


Kino sighed, deciding to be the first to speak. "You... You animal... You're an animal... You... You killed him... You're... A player killer." Kino shook his head in disbelief at the thought of happy go lucky Hisashi being a PK'er. "Weve all lost people before... We know that pain... And you just inflicted that pain upon someone else... For no reason... None at all." You could here the shock in Kino's voice. it was almost as if he were trying to comprehend the situation.

Hisashi stood up, and kicked the chair aside.


"No reason? Your life isn't a reason? Or Jep's? Or Maoni's? That's not reason enough for you?" He asked, genuinely confused.


"I would do it again Kino, I don't care what you think of me. Besides, the only one who cared about him other then his lackeys died shortly after I was released." He looked down as he said the last part.


"Call me what you will, but I'd do it a hundred times over if it came down to it."

Maoni didnt like being carried "Jep! my Skirt!" she reached to her rear and kept her skirt down as Jep just held her over his shoulder. Tears still fell down her cheeks as she glanced at Hisashi. She was still upset about what happened. As Jep walked into the room, she was finally put down and she went to the corner of the room to just be away from everyone. Her arms crossed over her chest as she looked at the boys in the room. Not to mention the fact that Kino already called Hisashi a PKer. Her eyes lower slightly and bit her lip, not sure what to think or what to do..

"Our lives?" Kino stood up and turned to Hisashi. "What about his life? What about the lives of his friends. Hr had an entire guild so we don't know who's friend or brother or cousin that you just killed. Our lives weren't in any immediate trouble. Jep could've beaten that guy easily. Maoni could've. I don't care what you say, but DO NOT use me as an excuse for the reason you killed someone." Kino looked down lowering.


"We... We all have to deal with this world. All of us. I doubt he was like this before we became trapped. This world made him this way... Just like it made YOU this way... The Blood Over Guild is known for ruling by fear. None of em have ever killed... But you have... And I know you don't care, but people like us... We can try to fix people like that... We can make peoples lives better so that they don't have to be like this... BUT YOU GOT SOO MAD THAT YOU COMPLETELY IGNORED THE VALUE OF ANOTHER MANS LIFE! So don't blame this on him... Because you know damn that YOU are to blame... And no one else."


Kino sat back down and tried to calm himself down, looking towards a wall, not wanting to look at the others after his rant.

Hisashi gritted his teeth.


"So was I supposed to stand there and watch? I've done enough of that in the time I've been here.


News flash for you kid, guilds hire people from outside to kill for them, so that they don't become a red guild. It's a known fact." He turned and stood to face the door.


"You think I feel nothing over what I did? Im damn aware he had a family. We all do. At least we all did," he trailed off.


Quickly, he opened up his player menu and left the party.


"I'm starting to wish they'd finished what they'd started with me in that cave." He muttered, opening the door.


"Don't try to find me." He spat before walking out and slamming the door behind him.


As Hisashi stormed out of the tavern, many people fell silent, and whispered amongst themselves as he passed, some even pointing at his cursor. To this, he responded by giving people a cold stare and an animalistic snarl, as he exited the tavern.

Jepitha remained silent during the whole argument again. It seemed Jepitha wasn't big on most arguments, well today at least. Once Hisashi rushed out, he looked at Kino and Maoni. "Let me go talk to him." He said before he turned to the door. "If anymore Thugs from the guild come here, message me and I'll be back as soon as I can." He said before he left the room, closing the door behind him.


He sped walked, mainly using his long strides to try to catch up to Hisashi. Once they were out in the open he then said. "Hold up a minute Hisashi. I would like talk to you for a second." He said calmly, his voice obviously not hostile like Kinos and Maonis.

Hisashi stopped and spun around on his heels, hands in his pants pockets.


He quickly glanced Jep up and down, noticing his entire demeanor was different from the others.


"Thought I told all of you to leave me alone." He muttered, and he quickly looked down, and his face softened.


"I-I'm sorry. You didn't do anything I'm just.... W-what's there to talk about? I fucked up and now you all hate me. There's nothing else to it. There's no point in talking, you all would've been better off if I died in that cave, or better yet, if I'd died in the Dragon's lair."


He said, eyes on the ground as he shuffled his foot in the snow. @Robin man
