Hisashi's breaths came out in ragged gasps as the dagger was plunged into his leg. He gritted his teeth to avoid crying out, but failed as the dagger was thrust into is eye.


His screams became louder as the blade was twisted and left in his eye.


"YOU LEAVE THEM ALONE YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" He shouted after the man, as he tried to shake himself out of his bonds, but the paralysis poison was too strong to overcome.


He turned his good eye to the girl, Celesica and let out a "roar" at her; trying to one, scare her off, and two; activate his Howl ability, to give him a boost to get himself out.

Jepitha was in deep thought as he was looking through the player menus. It took him a couple of moments before he said anything to Kino. "Luckily I found them, it seems that both of them didn't leave the party, so I was able to find the two of them without much effort." He told Kino before he closed the menus.

Kino nodded. "Oh... well im sure everything will be back to normal come tomorrow morning." Kino said, as he unequipped his clothes and equipped a shirt and underwear. Lying down on the bed, he pulled the covers up to his chest and looked over towards Jep. "You coming to bed or not?" Kino asked. "Because im really tired and you hovering scares me." Kino admitted.

Jepitha chuckled at Kino as he unequipped his armor, and was now in a tank top and grey sweat pants. "If it works, then I don't care how it looks." He said before he climbed into the other bed in the room. "We'll go out and started looking for them tomorrow morning, we'll start with the girl." He said softly.

Kino sighed. "Okay." he said. He waited until Jep got into his bed to shut the lights off. The darkness began consuming the room and Kino's mind as he lay there trying to no avail to fall asleep. "We'll find them in the morning." Kino tried to assure himself. "Yea, we'll find em." Kino continued to reassure himself that theyd find them, and he eventually opened his party menu and looked at Hisashi and Maoni's locations. "Well thats strange." Kino thought. "There are no villages or towns near Hisashi's location... It says he's somwehere in the mountains. Why would he go there?" Kino eyed the red dot that represented Hisashi. "Hmmm."


The next morning there was a knock on Maoni's cabin door. They had finally found her. The people who were longing to find her, finally had after an overnight search. "Maoni! Open up! It's us!" They called.

Maoni heard the sound of someone knocking on her door as well as yelling out her name. Groaning from the bed, she got up and went through her inventory to change her clothes. Her hair didnt require much effort because unlike real life, your hair didnt get messy in the game. Getting up from her bed, she walked out from her room, through the hall balcony and down the stairs. Walking to the window to see who it really was, she opened it slightly so they could hear her "Come to the window, I dont trust voices. I trust my eyes." she stated before shutting the window again. she secretly went into her inventory, pulling out the best sword she got.

Kino sighed. "Alright..." He said shuffling over to the window and smiling at Maoni. "You see... It's me, so hurry up and come on or Jep is going to flip when he wakes up and im not there." Kino whined at Maoni. "I'm waiting..." He said tapping his foot nervously.

Maoni looked at the window and seen Kino in front of the window "Okay..." she said before making her way to the door and opening it, still holding her sword "I thought I was no longer in the party, Kino." she said as her eyes narrowed at him. "What do you want?" she didnt want to be attatched any longer. Leaving was the easiest thing for her. And seeing Kino now didnt help her situation. Why couldnt they just leave her be? Probably because they attatched to her already.

Kino grabbed Maoni's wrist and pulled her out of the door. Kino stood across from her and sent her a PvP invite. "If I beat you, you have to come back with me." Kino said. "I don't care how many times I have to lose, but I won't quit until I win. I can tell you care about Hisashi, and if your to much of a chicken to act on those feelings, how can you even survive in this world!!! You're a coward."

Being called a coward hit a nerve. Pretty hard as well. "There is no point on me fighting you if you're going to keep fighting me till you win." her eyes narrowed and dont you ever," she grabbed him "Call me," she then slammed him into the wall of her cabin from the outside "A coward!" clearly he was looking to die or something. "Tell me why you're actually here, Kino. Because you surely put me in a bad mood." dropping her arm from his neck, she then took a step back "I'm not going to fight you to get the answer."

Kino took out a knife from his inventory. "This isn't a safe zone." Kino walked over towards Maoni after she released him. "So I don't have to send you a PvP invite." He raised the blade over his head. Looking at Maoni he brought the knife down, stabbing himself in the stomach. "Ahh!!!" He screamed as he dropped to his knees. His health bar began lowering. "Come on Maoni... Show me... How much... Of a coward you are." Kino began moving the knife around and as his he screamed his health continued to lower.

Maoni's eyes widen as he jabbed his own knife into his stomach. Why would he do something like that!? Is he Crazy!? Did he want to die?! What the hell was he thinking!? "Kino you idiot!" with all her strength she forced his hands outward to pull the knife out with his hands and she took the knife, throwing it and then pulling out a healing potion,shoving it down his throat to drink (Not the whole glass just the liquid) "You must be going insane if you think doing something like this is going to help with anything! Killing yourself will just be another wasted life!"

Kino drank the healing potion and looked up at Maoni with a smile. "If you care so much... Then why are you running?" Kino coughed and stood up, un-equipping his dagger. "You just proved that you're a coward. If you care about someone so much that you would leave them to spare your own feelings. IT'S COWARDICE! We all have to deal with this world, and you leaving your own friends behind... Is worse than killing us. It tortures is." Kino began to tear up. "In this world our friends are who support us. They keep us grounded, and by leaving us you take away all that we have in this world... Think about it." Kino began to walk off.

Maoni watched him, feeling her heart twist as she hurried up to him and grabbed his wrist "Kino, The reason why I dont stick around is that I dont want to feel the pain I felt a few months ago. It hurts to lose those who are close to you. I just wanted to avoid all of that just so I can focus on leveling and getting to the top where I can try to win this game for all of us and finally be free!" she didnt need to cry again so she was forcing it down. Why did he come here to do this? Did he just want to prove she was a coward? What was the whole point in general!? "I still cant believe you came here just to do this to me. What kind of person are you?"

"Someone who wants his friend back... I've known you for one day, yet I feel like I've known you my whole life... Yes. I am selfish, because I'm doing this because I want you back, but that's because I know you want to come back." Kino used his free arm to wipe away tears. "I see the way you look at Hisashi. I can tell you like him... He liked you two." Kino turned around and hugged Maoni. "Please... Just come back to us. We're all going to die, whether its in the game or real life. If you really care, and don't spend time with us, you would regret it... I know you would... So please come back to us." Kino begged.

The blood over leader walked to the room that currently held Jep. "Think you can make a fool out of me do ya?" He knocked, fully expecting this to be the room Kino was staying in alone. "The bartender said the kid was staying here, and I don't see that guy around here, so it should be fine." He thought. The man continued to bang on the door. "Wake up kid! I got free candy!" He yelled, trying to get him to open up.

Celesica looked at Hisashi as she held the knife. "I'm sorry I did this. My father... Ever since he lost my mother, he's gone crazy... Well he isn't my real father, he's a nice man whose taken care of me ever since this started... He's all I have left, but I couldn't torture you. I know where he is, but I'll only tell you if you promise me something." The girl said as she watched Hisashi drink a healing potion she had given him.

Maoni just stood there as Kino hugged her. At this point, she was stunned as her eyes filled with tears "Y-You have t-to be a j-jerk to me and p-pull my emotional s-strings..." she said as she then hugged him back, crying softly. He just had to pull at her heart strings and make her cry. Honestly, this was the most she had cried in such a long time. Yesterday and now today. Why did these days have to be so emotional to her? "I'm sorry.." she sobbed into his shoulder, now it was as if he was a older brother to her even though she was probably older. Maybe she did need people by her side. Maybe thats why Maoni had broken so easily. Keeping her feelings all bottled up.

They hugged for a while longer and then finally seperated. "Its okay Maoni... But I mean... If you truly are sorry... You could... Give me... Yknow... That weapon drop from the dragon boss." Kino said with a mischeivious grin.

Hisashi backed up against the wall defensively as Celesica approached him, his eyes wide and feral, like a caged animal's.


He looked her up and down, before quickly snatching the potion and retreating back to the wall.


He drank the potion in one quick gulp and dropped the bottle, never taking his eyes off the girl, in fear that she was tricking him.


"Just a nice man, huh?" His voice was barely above a whisper. "Didn't seem that way from where I was standing." He snarled.


His quick breathing began to slow, as he regained his composure, but only slightly.


He scratched his head, and equipped a cloak, as his armor had depleted from the torture.


"What'll I have to promise you? I mean, I owe you for not torturing me, now don't I?" He spoke slowly, eyes slightly narrowed.

Maoni slowly lifted her head as Kino asked for the weapon from the dragon boss "..You really are a jerk...I'm here crying and you're worrying about a sword." she wiped her eyes, removing any tears that could be on her face at this moment. Sniffling softly, she went through her inventory and put up the sword for trade with Kino "Take it. I got the materials I needed for a new sword."

Kino smiled as he saw the Crystalline Sword's name appear for trade. "You mean it?" He looked at the sword and smiled, accepting the trade request. "Thank you so much... So pretty." He said equipping it and then sheathing it. "Now we should go... Jep hopefully hasn't woken up yet, so we should get going, unless you actually want to witness a friend die." He said pulling out his teleport crystal.

Celesica sighed. "Please don't kill him... My father... Please don't. He's been through a lot, and I know he has put your friends through a lot... He's a good guy. I promise you he is." She teared up a bit. "If you have to kill anyone... Kill me. I know he's the one you want, but I can't life with out him. He's the only one who supports me and cares about me, so please take my life instead. Not his." Celesica begged through tear filled eyes.

Maoni nodded softly as she pulled out her teleport crystal. The sword really wasnt a big deal to her. Just the supplies she needed to make one was the big deal. The strongest metal in the game to make an ultimate sword. Hopefully she can get to that and be able to have a better weapon for a long time. "Are you both still at the same place?"

Hisashi stared at the girl in disbelief, and slowly took a few steps to stand in front of her, and crouched so he was at eye-level with her. He spoke softly to the girl. "I honestly cannot promise you that, kid. No way in hell would I kill you, but I can't promise the same for your "father", and if that means I have to track him down myself, then," His gaze darkened, and the kind Hisashi that had been there mere seconds ago vanished, leaving the same one who had been tortured just a little while ago.


"So. Be. It." He said coldly, eyes blazing with fury.


"Its not even what he did to ME, its what he said he'd do to Jep, and Kino, and... and what he said he'd do to Maoni." Hisashi continued as he stood up, and scanned the room for anything he could take. His eyes fixed on the dagger in Celesica's hand, the one she'd pulled from his eye.


He turned his body and took the knife from her, twirling it in his hand. "That, I wont forgive him for. That, he'll PAY FOR. And you," He spat, "Find a new role model." Hisashi said as he walked towards the door to the room.

"Yea. We are staying in the tavern in that village. I'll see ya there." And with that Kino teleported back to the tavern. He stood outside the town, waiting for Maoni to appear.

Celesica watched Hisashi walk out with tears in her eyes. She sat in the chair Hisashi had been tortured in, and sighed, equipping the dagger she had had in her inventory. A few tears fell from her eyes as she looked down at the dagger and then plunged it into her own stomach, her health beginning to decrease. The girl fell to the ground, tears streaming sideways down her face. "I'll be waiting for you daddy... With mommy." And then the sound that acommpanied a players death echoed through the cave His as I walked through to find the Blood Ogre leader.

OMG NO WAI LEONE!? WAAIII!!!!!!!!


Maoni soon appeared not too long afterwards. "I thought you would have left since those guys were around and threatened to kill us." she hated to be threatened more then anything. It was quite annoying to be honest. "No matter, lets go and wake up Jep. If he even is sleeping." if he wasnt, well, she wondered what would happen with Kino since him and Kino were like brothers.

Kino walked towards the tavern and noticed something. "Is that..." He saw the guy from earlier knocking on his and Jep's room. "Maoni... Heads up!" He said nodding toward him. Just as he did that, further away he saw Hisashi emerging opposite of them. "Is that... HISASHI!!!" He yelled, catching the attention of th guy who turned towards Maoni and Kino. "Uh oh... You! How'd you get free!?!" He asked Hisashi.
