Simply put you got no level ups until after I review and post them all nice and batched for the players.

the way this works is, you don't get to decide when you level anything up. Not your level, or skills or anything of the sort, the GM handles that and will tell you when you gain a levelup or a skill. It's why there is a system of experience in place that he keeps track of. You don't very well get to choose when you get access to level ups in an actual RPG, do you?

Sword Skills are activated when a player performs the appropriate «Pre-Motion» (予備動作プレモーション' date=' [i']Pure Mōshon[/i]?, lit. "Preparation motion")[1][2][3] for a skill (such as raising a sword atop one's shoulder). I just followed the rules of initiating the linear skill

«Linear» (リニアー' date=' [i']Riniā[/i]?) is a basic, 1-hit, rapier category Sword Skill in Sword Art Online, New ALfheim Online and Project Alicization.
«Linear» consists of a single thrust straight forward by first holding the rapier in front of the body and then putting in a twist from there. Due to being the first skill in the rapier category, the skill has a remarkably short post-motion delay after usage, allowing multiple «Linear» to be chained in together at a very short amount of time.
this explains why i had such a short CD period before using it again

Turbostar, that "skill xp" thing? I am absolutely positive you don't get to pick that. You don't get to choose what your actual XP is in any game that I know of beyond perhaps being able to start at levels other than 1 in tabletop RPGs. That is decided by the system. In this case, that falls entirely on Ixacise's hands. Entirely. I'm pretty sure this applies to creature drops as well, so your gold drop might have to go. Controlling actual NPC encounters might potentially fall under his supervision as well, because this is how tabletop RPGs operate.


Also, yes, the absurdity of having a full range of motion and control thanks to being brainjacked into the game, yet combat being reduced to a series of preset stances and moves to actually do anything, after which you're left entirely vulnerable to boot, will never cease to amuse me.

If you are confused on leveling perhaps it would be best to re-read it.
 
Yeah that is silly. I mean, what's the point of the brainjack, well other than EVIL PLOT BWAHAHAHA of keeping people trapped in the MMO then? It's pretty much like any other hotbar based game at that point. That is quite silly yes.
 
You know I am curious on how the Game Devs designed SAO. I imagine it in a perpetually dark room, with like a few cauldrons lighting the place up. Just cackling about EEEEVIIIIIIIIIIILLLL....
 
Well it was made entirely by one clinically disabled man in his basement so you're not that far off on the dark room bit MechaGhoul.

I have 0 xp at the start..so isn't it right to presume that i need 100% xp till next lvl so =>Skill XP: 100%( needed)
