St. Boethius
The Pious Philosopher
Hypnos thought for a moment. He was trying to think of a way he could convince the colonists to pray to him on the night of the attack. Because he'd have already had to use the horn as the sun set to release the mist over this half of the world come night fall. If they wanted the wolves to be dealt with by Hypnos he would need their prayers to make sure he break even with his power. Yawning Hypnos said, " Well I'll just have to reveal myself to the entire colony and inform them of my plan. If they want a god to fix their problems shouldn't the least humans be willing to do is pray? As for the collateral damage of making citizens falling asleep. It wouldn't really be collateral damage. So long as the pack falls under my influence I can have them kill one another and the colony can have a well deserved peaceful nights rest."
It was getting harder for Hypnos to stay awake during the day. In fact this was the first time in his long life he had seen the Sun. He was sure Apollo was equally surprised. " I suppose the only left to do is tell the Elders of my plan. Then I need a nap." Hypnos stopped to yawn once again, " If you guys agree to my plan, or have no where else to turn. Then pray to me and I will wake. At the very least if you do that I'll guarantee your safety." With that Hypnos gathered up his artifacts and put them back into his bag and headed out the door looking for the command tent.
It didn't take long for Hypnos to find the command tent. It was marked and quite large. Walking inside the deity stopped in front of the Secretary. Smiling at her Hypnos asked, " Good morning, could you let the Elders now I'm here? I know they must be busy but tell them that Hypnos has a plan for the wolf problem."
