Chuck shrugged "meh I've been busy apparently home has needed some of my attention so I've been focusing on that." Chuck sighed as he began to drink from the wine that was suddenly in his hand.

"So give me the broad strokes of what I missed while in the dream realm?" Dru asked as he looked around once they left the office feeling a slight hint of guilt for not being around.

"Makes sense." Kala nods.

She takes him down the hall. There were people everywhere, some looked like heroes ready to go on patrol others just looked like normal agents. "Well I'm the main one in charge. Mom gave me control so she can retire but shes been helping me alot lately, Maddy and her cousins ended their family's assassins business. I been helping keeping thier family in check and all that. Had to deal with an android and this company trying to give the Hero league a bad name. Still picking up the pieces from that. Only just got the Eiffel tower rebuilt. But we all been doing our own thing."

"Come on now sweetie, no need to pry into people's private lives." Makoto said. Sasha let out an embarrassed smile as she looked at Makoto. However she was quickly reading Scout's and Maddy's minds and searching through their memories.

Scout was a Mercenary a while back. Along with a team of 9 others. He prided himself on his speed snd quick wit. He came off as stupid to some but that worked for him because it was to his advantage to have people think he was dumber than he really was. Although still a Mercenary the kind of jobs he and his friends take have become much more noble in nature. He had a tough upbringing. Eight older half-brothers. A father who he never knew, a mother who barely held their home together and a life spent learning to fend for himself and to fight. He was extremely fond of his mother. Late mother. He also loved Maddy very deeply. But doubted he had much chance with her.


And then there was the fact that he was a clone. Of a man called Jeremy, a speedster in Edgewood whom he considered a brother. Actually Scout wasn't even Jeremy's clone. He was the clone of a clone of a clone and so on and so on.

If she searched Peter's memory, thete was his childhood. His missing parents. His tough go at high school. His intillect. His want to help others. And the death of his Uncle. Past that Peter's is hard to read, but it was clear that he had some kind of mental defenses set up to keep her digging too deep

"Some guys a few coworkers tried to set me up with." Maddy answered.

Maddy's memories there was alot of her family. All with different abilities, working as assassins. Maddy was even trained to be one. Her parents made her train constantly. She didnt always have the tail. Her powers were healing and there were memories of her healing people.

There were images of her as a large grey wolf running through forests.

There was some feelings for Scout but she didnt want to risk ruining thier friendship.

"Makoto recently moved into the city of Edgewood. His parents came here already about a month ago. We got off the plane from Moscow about two days ago." Makoto tilted his head "Why are you always so talkative?" He smiled

They at least know he has an extensive record and know of the assassination attempt in Russia years ago. Most of this information is from SHIELD and they remembered hearing that Makoto was said to be the one who tried to shoot the Russian President. At the last moment, Sasha blocked her father according to reports and instead the bullet penetrated a SHIELD agent sent to help protect the president. Apparently he was a high ranking individual and rumored to be a good friend of Nick Fury. After that event, it appears that Makoto also engaged in various amounts of world wide crime affairs including drugs, weapons, and even human trafficking. Recent info of his crimes has dwindled, as if the crime operations are slowing down. There were even some reports that he was involved in black ops for various governments including the United States. Sasha is said to be a potential accomplice as well as her siblings in these operations. Any information on them would be back in the Kremlin and likely already destroyed. "By the way, I've heard interesting rumors that a casino is opening here." Sasha said "Supposedly an operation from a tycoon in Las Vegas, hoping to spread out. Is that true?"

"Really? That isn't gonna last long. Gambling's illegal in this state." Peter said. "Well it could last I guess but it wouldn't be very easy to make work."
