I'm hoping I can get a few posts out this weekend as I've been hit with inspiration!

I had a thought that will likely have no bearing on the RP itself, but here it is: what if the Night Dragon's corruption and death was orchestrated by the Demon Tribe, the ones who caused the curse of reincarnation between Ganondorf, Zelda, and Link? The Demon Tribe may be responsible for the Zelda of that era falling into the Sleeping Sickness, expecting the Night Dragon to be blamed for it. They may also be the ones who spread the alternate legend that Shiri told, that the evil Blight Dragon was the one who cursed Zelda with eternal slumber. With the Night Dragon's corruption and death, most of Hyrule's magic faded away with only a few individuals being able to wield it, and those who can wield magic being prone to corruption, which explains the numerous evil wizards in the LoZ games, at least for this RP. The Demon Tribe was playing the long game with this one!

Stefan learns the Moonlift Dance and gets so into it that he goes Ultra Instinct!



This dance took over a month to unlock. My goal of unlocking all of FF14's dance emotes makes me want a Legend of Zelda game where dances are the music-themed collectable. That can be really fun! I also enjoy the thought of Stefan, before becoming Lunaris, traveling to the homelands of the other races of Hyrule and learning their cultural dances.

I try to play through the game as in-character as possible and yeah, I can see Stefan doing nonsense like this. I suppose it makes his downfall and transformation into Lunaris all the more tragic.

I agree too, which is why I have Stefan being such a heckler in the prompts you give me lol. I always took it as his way of enjoying what little time he has left despite the pain he feels with. (also why Shiri looking like Anya Forager from Spy x Family? lol)
 
Thanks for the Pauline-adjacent post, Swallow! I'm afraid I'm still wondering what I could do so she can carry on from this point, it doesn't seem like a lot happened during the time the post happened is all. Or are we waiting for Shroom to reply?

Lol now I'm tempted to share other clips from FF14, such as one where Stefan, despite being a literal god-slayer, is so terrified of an NPC that he fearfully nods and does what he's told! XD He's a sly, mischievous guy and is wont to troll, so your portrayals of him are pretty spot-on!

The outfit is what retainers wear. I get to choose my retainer's race, sex, and appearance but not their outfit. I never had a real idea of what a humanoid Shiri would look like. In FF14, I made her a Lalafell which is the "halfling" race in the game. Funny thing is that I can send retainers on missions which leads them to fighting Eikons like Ifrit and Titan, so imagine little Shiri fighting gods in Stefan's place! I had to look up the anime and character that you were talking about because I'm not familiar with them... but you're not wrong! XD

There is definitely no rush to post. That said, if you're struck with inspiration then feel free to post. While Shroomie is still in the game, I do not think they will be as active as they used to be, so don't feel like you must wait.
 
Kameron Esters- Kameron Esters- With my collecting dances for FF Stefan, I can't help but imagine Agahnin visiting the homelands of the various Hyrulean races, and looking behind him and spotting Stefan doing the OOT Darunia dance with the Gorons! XD Or he looks out his window one night and catches Stefan doing the Kamaro dance under a full moon and wondering WTF he's doing! XD

Stefan fully immersing himself in the culture of others will never not be funny to me lol

Agahnim: Stefan, I appreciate you've taken such... explicit interest in some of the other races, but could you spare us both the embarrassment of practicing their customs in public?

Stefan: You embarrass yourself, old man! If you had respect for the culture, you'd join me in the immersion! But ofcourse, you're a coward, so I expected nothing!

Agahnim: By the Goddesses... 🤦‍♂️

Also, I'm highly convinced he's practicing the dance to woo Sheba with. Women like a man who can dance~ 😏

This can also explain how Lunaris is able to influence the various races to his side: he knows their customs and how to interact with them!

Agahnin catches Stefan doing a Moblin tribal dance and immediately becomes concerned because associating with Moblins may be considered treason in Hyrule! Though this now gives me a cute little idea of Mugorl teaching such things to Stefan in exchange for learning how to read and write.

Stefan likely incorporated the different dances in his magic shows to add more style and flair to them, and he genuinely got a lot of joy out of it. It also provided him with a means of staying mobile and flexible, and getting exercise, what with his chronic illness. It was very devastating when his illness worsened to the point that he could not sing and dance as he used to. It'd be little wonder that he goes all out on full moon nights!

Damn, now i feel sad.... 😭 BUT It's been erased by the sheer fact I have a feeling Stefan made this dance in particular just to troll Agahnim 🤣

A friend told me they can see Stefan playing a hurdy-gurdy or an accordion, which is funny to me because imagine Agahnin studying peacefully when he suddenly hears the familiar crackle-pop of Stefan's teleportation spell, and he just sighs right before his student dances a jig around him while playing Saria's Song on the accordion!

Fun fact for ALBW they ended up remaking the rap! (there’s no sick dance moves though, only boring gameplay footage smh)


Dhjdghsdg but oh gosh, I don’t know what would be funnier; Zelda just spontaneously breaking out into dance with a bunch of stalfos, Gibdos, etc. etc. or Zelda having to actually go through the process of teaching said enemies the dance number lmao

“It’s step-step-kick-head turn, not step-kick-head turn-step! Alright, let’s take it from the top!”

*disgruntled monster noises*
