I know Snake was the most recent post so curious about the rest

Since we've decided that I'm gonna GM, I could - and should - write something for you and Pres to respond to. I should have done it when I posted for Snake, but I just wasn't sure about if I should or not. So I'll do that either tonight or later in the day tomorrow. More likely the latter.

Just jot him down him down for later in the rp. We're still in the beginning phases so it's not like he couldn't fit in. And that gives you some time to free yourself up of character beforehand!

What makes it harder is that I've wanted to play him since I was making the concept for this RP, but I wanted to put more energy into RPing characters from the SSB roster.

Layton being with Sora's group would also be an interesting fit. The boys finally have an adult with more than two brain cells to rub together lol

How I look at it is, if you feel comfortable taking up another character then don’t let your dreams be dreams, but ofc staying within your limits is always best says the person way beyond her own limits. 10/10 advice. Totally not a hypocrite

At this point it’s not a matter of if, it’s when! I’m holding off for now, but he’ll make an appearance sooner or later!

I can see some of the SSB being unsure of having Layton around as he doesn’t seem powerful; by all appearances he’s an ordinary man.

And then he McGyver’s a freaking machine gun or flying machine with whatever random things are available, and skillfully fights off enemies with the first object that comes to his hand! Or he just presents the enemy with a puzzle and the party gets away while they’re distracted with trying to solve it.

Layton show ups near the Smash Sisters, and Samus is immediately suspicious of him. The guy takes one look at Samus in her armor and politely greets her as a lady! He clearly knows TOO MUCH! XD

Meanwhile, Peach is like, "Oh, Sammy! Can we keep him??" XD

Nah, I gotcha! You're building it up!

Pit and Toon Link are just really strong-willed and fearless by their natures. It's kind of tough to build up a terrifying scenario for them as even in the games they have a tendency to just push away their feelings and charge right in! That doesn't mean I have no plans for them though! >8D

In the Brawl RP, I portrayed Pit as being almost incapable of feeling fear because dying a hundred times and having an impressive resume of slaying gods tends to leave one resilient to such. What is left to fear then? The drawback was that he was incredibly reckless as a result, sometimes forgetting that his friends aren't as durable and immortal as he is, and a cunning enemy learned that it was best to hurt him through hurting his companions than attack the angel directly.

Despite Sora and Layton's kindness and positivity, Porky is still doomed to evil. That doesn't mean he can't have little moments such as finding a prime opportunity to backstab them, but in that moment his conscience gets him and he holds back. For now.

Oh, the bullying I can imagine poor Luke going through with Porky if the boy's accompanying the Professor! Luke tries so hard to be the bigger man because a gentleman doesn't make a scene, but he soon throws hands because he's still young and impulsive!
