Ok, so I gave my post for Paula an overhaul I cut out her asking about the pillars. Now, she senses it only. I added Paula joining Noctis in asking Anne about Futaba.

That is sad to hear, but it happens. Imo if you still have interest in the rp in some capacity I'd say don't leave entirely. Keep whatever character(s) you feel strong enough to write for and go from there. Obviously it's ultimately your choice but that's just my view on the whole thing. I guess if none hold your interest at all though then that do be a problem as a whole and that cannot be changed. Completely understandable that muse would change in a 2 year time frame I say that as if my muse changes a lot LOL

I completely understand! This is a two year old RP and muses will inevitably change. If you are still interested in the RP, once I wrap things up with all the parties I reasonably can I will start an interest check and look into starting a fresh new thread. We will be continuing where we left off, but I will play it as a time skip so as to give folks the option to change where their characters are and start new plot threads. Having new players will help a lot, and starting a new thread will make it easier for them to slide in. I want to ask if you wouldn't mind if I took the reins with the Krookodile, if you've no plans with it.

This RP has been the first forum RP I've played, let alone GM'ed, in many years and I learned a lot about how much RP culture has shifted, and what works and what doesn't. Lackluster players and ghosting will always be something that plagues every RP, but hopefully the new thread will be more successful than this one! I will not expect current players to adhere to the 2 Character rule as you all were present before I put it into place, but this will present opportunities to drop characters.

I think for now I’ll definitely be in the process of weighing my options and seeing what might best work for me. I could totally see myself being reinvigorated by the potential semi-fresh start a new thread/new players could bring but I’ll wait and see what mindset I’ll be in when the time comes. And yee it’s totally cool if you wanna take the reins on the Krookodile

I may even shrink down my roster once we move to a new thread so I totally get changing of muses entirely. Oh gosh that’s a good point! There are one or two characters I’ve had stray some ideas for (probs either my gorl Jigglypuff or one of the Pokemon Trainers, not sure which lol) but was too overwhelmed by my current cast to even think about sliding them in, so dropping and/or swapping a character definitely could be an option! Dgsjfhd and trust me, if I can I will try to find a way to get back into the groove again. Like, I really don’t want to just drop after all this time spent hanging out with y’all without at least exhausting every other possibility, so I’m gonna try my best and see how things turn out!
