Pit flips out on Pittoo after he finds out about his and Zelda's time together.

Pit: Pittoo, you can't just fist-fight a princess outside the Stadium!

Dark Pit: Zelda started it! Besides, it was fun! She wasn't hurt.

Pit: You gave her a black eye!

Dark Pit: Hey, THAT was an accident! She was hit by my wing as I was turning around. We went to a hot spring afterward. She's fine!

Pit: 😳 You took her--- Do NOT let Impa hear you say that!

Dark Pit: What's the matter, Pit-stain? Jealous? ... Puh, calm down! We were in separate pools. "Her Royal Majesty's" modesty is perfectly intact!

Pit: *pinching the bridge of his nose* ... At least it's not Ocarina of Time Impa!

I'm imagining Ol' Woman Impa carrying holy water on her and splashing it in Dark Pit's face every time she sees him lol

Impa: Devil!

Zelda: *gasp* IMPA!

Dark Pit: ... I'm just gonna pretend that was an accident. 😒



We had a person RPing as OoT Impa in the old RP. She was fun! Lol the poor LoZ cast, though! Impa was being an over-protective mother figure to Zelda, she was keeping an eye on Link to make sure he wasn't doing anything inappropriate toward Zelda, she was a strict teacher to Toon Link, and she was constantly giving Ganondorf the Stink Eye.

I honestly think "Devil Trigger" fits Pit better, but still awesome.

Destroys the final boss, a GOD, with a giant FUCK YOU laser... Samus would be so proud of her little bro!

Things like this like to make me wonder of Snake's first Super Smash Brothers fight, let alone the tournament. Because yeah, he's probably in his prime, fresh after beating Liquid Snake almost three times in the span of an hour (once against a giant mech, then again in a fist fight on top of said mech, then a car chase through an exploding military base), but I don't think that prepared him for Samus shooting balls of pure energy at a flame throwing Bowser while Captain Falcon and Star Fox dogfight in the background and now there's some kid calling himself an actual angel and servant of the Goddess of Light telling him to square up.

He'd probably feel lucky if Peach decided to take a swing at him, even if he doesn't want to fight a princess, until she starts throwing the entire contents of her kitchen at him.
 
Snake breathes a sigh of relief when it's Peach... then Peach uses her explosive hip-slam attack on him!

I like to think the Hands used their powers to put the fighters on more equal footing, and prevent any super serious injuries. Kirby would just beat everyone otherwise lol

In the old RP, I've had Pit claim that he can barely remember the Brawl tournament, only Ike shouting, "GREAT AETHER!" and later waking up in the infirmary.

I still say Nintendo missed out on an opportunity by having Snake interrupt Palutena's Guidance with a codec when they use it on Snake. I know this won't happen, but I think it'd be neat if in the next SSB game, it's Samus scanning the other fighters and the player reading the information picked up. Samus sometimes gets a little humorous or sarcastic with it, so it'd be fun to read her thoughts on each fighter.

Maybe? It's unlikely he brings up mysterious voices in ones head, unless he really feels a need to mention so, it might not really be much of a relief. Besides, he's not supposed to be able to hear Sothis' voice anymore now since she granted him all her power though she speaks to him once after it happens to wake him up which I referenced in his intro Maybe people noticed it during his initial time around (I mean Sothis is in his final smash and all) but yeah lmao I suppose 4th wall breaking exists too but he wouldn't be doing that himself

Maybe he doesn't bring it up, but he might have caught Pyra/Mythra, or one of the Pits seemingly talking out loud to themselves?
 
Pit, Pythra/Mythra, and Byleth are all kind of miffed when Snake shows up to the first official meeting of "Voices In My Head" club.

Pit: Snake, this is for supernatural or divine incidents! Codec calls with Otacon don't count!
Snake: How do you know Otacon isn't divine? I think there's a fair chance he's the God of Otaku Wisdom.

I mean with Pyra/Mythra it probably means very little to him tbh. Their situation is, very different I guess? I dunno. They don't strike me as something Byleth would pay too much mind to in that department. The Pits, maybe, though talking to oneself doesn't always mean a similar voice in head situation lol so he might not think much of it

This is the good ending to Grumpy's joke. Snake runs into the club room to ask if this is what receiving a message from God is like and Pit thinks all the stress has finally gotten to him.
 
Okay now that I'm not distracted by gaming with my friend I can properly try to break down Byleth and the voice in head thing. Like the reason I don't think he would really think much of the others like Pyra/Mythra, Pits, even Joker, etc, is because the voice in their heads ultimately has a physical form which everyone can see and interact with (though it may not be at the time of telepathy ofc). Him and Sothis don't have that. If Sothis manifested, only he could see her for she doesn't have a physical body anymore and he is her physical body. Basically, only he can interact with Sothis directly in every situation unless she took over his body (which she no longer can do with how I'm portraying Byleth, but she could if they hadn't fused Byleth with just a childish girl's voice all the sudden is a very funny thought though). But basically for him it might be a lesser thing if things have physical forms. Obviously telepathy is confusing to him since his only experience with it is Sothis and she basically lives in him. So he'd probably be more intrigued by learning how telepathy works for others than relieved I suppose he'd likely still never admit his own experiences with it though even though Sothis isn't there to scold him over it

Shdkskfjdkf Zelda fooling a bunch of the other fighters into thinking they’re having some kind of spiritual experience in all sorts of ways only for each bit to end with the same Deez Nuts joke is so friggin stupid and I absolutely love it. Whoever taught her what the Deez Nuts joke was in the first place surely will come to regret it 🙏
