Fantasy Summoners Journey (Accepting Champions)

Nyx stood up and stared at him with a warm gaze. "A cute intelligent feline. . ." She said as she closed her eyes and opened them again. "I am Nyx. Heart of the Willow Tree. . . We willow spirits guide unfortunate souls to the purgatory..." She said, her tone warm and motherly.


Walking towards him, she reached out her hand to pet him. "I hope you are fine with petting. . " She purred softly as she continued to do so. .
 
"Well, Miss Nyx I do feel comforted with your adequate amount of petting, so I'm fine."


As Meteor was petted more, he feels a bit more comfortable with the her. She was very trustworthy in his opinion. A willow, he needed to learn something about them too. Since she asked if he was a champion, he suspected that she was one too.


"I believe you are a champion too, correct? No wait, I can already guess that you are. I like being with you actually because of your constant time of comfortable care you offer me. Are you perhaps with a summoner?"

Dexius's was a curse also came with the unwritten stipulation of immortality. Immortality wasn't necessarily a bad thing but he did not like the fact that summoners that he grew attached to would perish. Eventually, the continual cycle of death turned him cold like his blood and he created boundaries for himself. He refused to contract himself to any summoner lest they could best him in battle. This brought about loneliness however as most challenge him without being prepared and were kicked out of his domain. Thus he considered them counterproductive. His eyebrows furrowed as he realized that he would suffer either way, with or without a summoner. This was established ages ago.


He had heard that there had been an influx of summoners, the news brought about by one of his more recent 'visitors', lately and with that he wondered if he would cross paths with them. He did not want to be alone and yet he did not want to experience the death of another summoner when they died if he did contract with them. There was no equilibrium that he could reach, two sides of a coin that just refused to stand on its circumference. Perhaps he could lower his standards? It had been decades since his last contract and he hated to admit but he craved someone to talk to. He was sure times have changed since he last traveled.


Dexius walked out of the frozen cave that he resided in, having chosen the place because of its isolation and looked out over the horizon...this might just be another lonely day.
 
"No I am not with a summoner. . " She said as she continued to pet him with her soft delicate fingers. " I am still looking for one though. . . One that I can fully trust and care for.." She said softly as her eyes shone in delight.

She smiled at the reassurance. "And boys are out of the question?" She raised her eyebrow curiously, wrapping her arms around Chell lovingly.
 
Her shining bright eyes was almost otherworldly and filled with emotion. This has given Meteor an idea.


"If we can, why don't we search for a summoner together? We can stay and protect each other." He thought of the idea of fighting with Nyx side by side, though he isn't exactly sure what she does.

"Well......." Chell said with a grin. "You know I can't help but to flirt babe......" she said with a giggle. "We don't know if they will accept... us... yet......" she said with a sigh.
 
"Lets hope..." Chell said with a smile. "Even my sister doesn't know..... She is trying to get me a boyfriend but......" Chell sighed

"They don't need to know yet." She sighed. "They might not understand anyway but I don't mind." She held her tighter. "As long as you love me, I won't care."

"True....." Chell said as she kissed Liz's neck cause she was sitting and it was the closest thing to kiss. "I won't care as long as you love me too..... Wanna go fight something?" she asked
 
Chell sighed as she picked up her crystals. Liz and her had been dating incognito for a couple months now. Not even Cathy knew about it, and Cathy had been with her the longest. "When you are ready Liz." she said with a grin
 
Liz pulled o some clothes before walking over to Chell. "That was amazing..." She said happily. "But shall we get going now?"
