Fandom Star Wars: Secret Compartments *OPEN and Accepting*

"Awwww, let me play you a sad song on the galaxy's tiniest violin."

He hit a few buttons on his wrist pad again and a quiet violin sound played over the speakers. He stopped it after a few seconds.

"But seriously, why are you here? I don't seem to recall letting you aboard."

Zolin tried desperately to not laugh underneath his mask at the sound of the violin music playing through the intercom. He kept his lightsabers trained on Jexen, even though he had lowered his own weapon. ''I'm Zolin. Got these 'sabers from my teacher.''

"Damn, this guy is cheeky."

Jexen sighed and rested his hand on his hip, right above his blaster. He looked around the room, absentmindedly looking for the speaker of the intercom. "Alright, suppose I probably should explain myself."

"Like I said, my name is Jexen, I'm a mercenary, yadda yadda. I do jobs for people in exchange for cash. I was on Coruscant... You know, Imperial City and whatnot," he elaborated, his free hand moving about to try and explain his story. "And I met a guy who wanted me to track you down. Not sure why. But the guy paid me in advance so I thought 'Eh what the hell.'"

"Zolin, eh? Sounds like a Mandalorian name. A Mandalorian with lightsabers, interesting..."

Zolin frowned slightly and turned off his lightsabers. ''It is Mandalorian.'' He didn't know what Jexen had meant by a ''Mandalorian with lightsabers'', but he assumed it was an insult.

[QUOTE="Knight Nate]"Is that so? And why did he want you to find me, huh?"

Jexen shrugged his shoulders. "Probably wanted me to kill you or get revenge on you or something. I pretty much stopped paying attention the second he handed me the credits." He started walking around and examining the room. "So, a smuggler, eh? Dangerous job, but it obviously pays well. You got a nice ship here and looks like you can afford a Mandalorian warrior with some pretty pricey weapons." Jexen turned and gave a grin and a nod towards Zolin.

"Maybe I should get into the smugglin' business..." Jexen murmured under his breath.

"Mmmm, yeah, no. I'm afraid death isn't really on my schedule this week. So it would really be grand if you just head back to that ship of yours and head on back home."

He hit a few more buttons and the door to the hangar opened.

Mo spung up from her seat a little bitate and sprinted out the door with her bright blue Lightsaber held in front of her.

She was just about ready to attack when She noticed no one was attacking anyone else. She sheathed her Lightsaber and blushed. "Sorry." She said. "Got a little... Carried away."

R7 beeped in laughter, having come up behind her after her attack.

"Shut up, junkpile." Mo said, kicking R7 lightly, but she was smiling light-heartedly. "So, Troopie, what are you doing here? Pretty far away from your division. Or are you flying on a solo mission? Oh..." She looked him up and down, then her smile widened. "Gone rogue, eh? Well, good for you. You did the right thing." She leaned on the wall. "

Malorie stepped forward between Zolin and Kenneg, having stayed silent until now and she eyed the new guy 'Jexen' curiously. Her eyes slitted a little extra as they made eye contact and she glanced at Mo when she entered, before moving her gaze back to Jexen. Her lightsaber was still at her side, but her tail was wrapped around it tightly, just incase. Her words came out like harsh silk. "
I advise you do just as the captain says, Jexen. It will do you good if you leave now." Her eyes flashed breifly to the door before returning to the 'rogue trooper.'

Zolin rose an eyebrow as Malorie stepped in between him and Jexen. He noticed her tail wrap around the hilt of her lightsaber. He nodded, agreeing with what Malorie said. ''Listen to her.''

Putting up his hands in a defensive position, Jexen's grin turned into a frown. "Easy there. I'm in no mood to get into a firefight..." he looked over at Mo, Zolin, and Malorie. "Or in this case a lightsaber fight. Jeez, and I thought I was using outdated tech..."

Obviously cornered, Jexen contemplated his options. He was given the chance to walk away calmly, no questions asked, no blaster wounds or narrow escapes.
"I already got my money for doing nothing... On the other hand, my reputation on Coruscant's probably ruined if I don't come back with Kenneg's dead body in tow... Hell if I'm taking that risk though."

"Look, I get I came off a bit strong here. At this point in the game I'd say it's in my best interests to not try anything funny." Jexen said, crossing his arms. "So... I'd like to make a proposition. Since you lot seem interesting and into the smugglin' business and what have you, you're probably gonna run into some Imperial trouble at some point. Perhaps I can help you out on that front? I did work for the Empire for almost ten years, I know my ins and outs. All it'd cost you is a few credits and a a place to stay. Whaddya say?"

"Eh. That doesn't seem as fun as shoving you inside the airlock and slowly watching you starve, but hey, this is a democracy. All in favor for not killing him, say I."

Kenneg was leaning against the wall now, a smug expression coming onto his face. It was just a joke of course, but he didn't need to know that.

Zolin stayed silent, still eyeing the trooper. He wasn't sure what to think of him, especially the fact that he was sent here to ind Kenneg. The Jedi reluctantly muttered ''I'', feeling curious about Jexen's story.

Malorie shifted uncomfortably in her spot. She was slightly syprised by Zolin's words as he urged Jexen to listen to her. And when Jexen spoke she couldn't helo but pick up that he was somewhat sincere, if at all. She looked over at Kenneg again when he brought up a vote. Her tail instinctively wrapped tighter around her saber's hilt and she narrowed her eyes a little at Jexen. As much as she thought he was sincere, she didn't enjoy his Imperial presence anyways. It was the grudge. She shook her head lightly. "
No."

Zolin rose an eyebrow at his fellow Jedi. He hadn't expected her to say no and wondered what her reasoning was. Jedi didn't normally elect to kill people given the chance and Malorie's decision confused him greatly. ''Are you sure Malorie?''

Mo looked at Malorie with shock. "Think it through, Malorie. Are you sure about your choice?"

Killing, although it doesn't seem like much fun, is sometimes the only way to get things done around the Galaxy.

She sighed as she thought about it.

Malorie turned her head to each of them, a sure look in her eyes. She looked at the ground and then back up to Jexen. Without a second thought she growled and turned on her spot. "I am, dead set, sure." She then walked from the area and back to the lounge. Her half bare feet moved quickly and she passed through the sliding door to sit on one of the couches. She picked up the blue milk she placed on the table before she went to see the trooper and she sat while taking a large drink and finishing it off. She was angry, very angry, because of that stupid rogue trooper. She was acting irrationaly, she knew that, but what else was she to do. She felt guilty now too.

Kenneg raised an eyebrow as he watched Malorie walk away with her voting death. It surprised him; he hadn't known her that long, but he never would have thought a Jedi would say death. He spoke back into the intercom.

"....well, that was unexpected. But since I'm in a good mood and I'm need of able bodies, we can discuss a deal."

He pressed a few buttons and the hangar door closed again and the intercom turned off. He rounded the corner and faced this Jexen with a grin on his face, his Heavy Blaster still in his hand but hanging limply by his side.

"Come on then, before Malorie drinks all the blue milk."

He turned and began making his way to the lounge.

Jexen raised his eyebrow at the catgirl as she exited the room. He made a mental note not to piss her off.

"Oh well, at the very least, the rest of them don't want to kill me. Gotta learn to make better first impressions I guess."

Jexen finally got a look at the legendary smuggler as he stepped around the corner. "Huh, not bad. Younger than I was expecting, but we seem about the same age. Maybe this will work out better than expected."

"Heh. Alright, glad to make your acquaintance, Kenneg." Jexen grinned back. He eyed Zolin and Mo and flashed a small grin at them. "Nice to meet you two as well." he remarked as he began strolling towards the lounge behind Kenneg. He turned his head back to them slightly as he walked, "So... If you two aren't crew, what exactly is your story?"

Mo's face turned cold as she followed. "I'm looking for an old friend. That's all you need to know." She was rather touchy about the whole subject of Obi Wan, as she saw him as somewhat of a father figure, having never met her Father or mother.

R7 bweeped with amusement, then quieted down when Mo shot him a look.
