Does anyone want to do some prequel RPing to the main game? Is that allowed? I am itching to play.

In all seriousness though, the more I think about the old Sith flame idea the more I really like it and really want to make it a thing! (Is it just me or is there a lack of One Sith members? A few defectors to the Separatist Union, but none that are still loyal.) I'm already writing into Amatiel's bio that she had a best friend, and if you've really got the fancy to make characters then get to it! Make me a literally evil ex-girlfriend. (The more I think about it the more I want to make Amatiel just strait up gay.)

As far as Buul goes I am totally fine with him taking her under his wing... er, flipper. But I'm not sure it should be right at the beginning. Like it should take some time, give her a chance to be ready to accept his teachings, because as it stands at the beginning she will probably not be too cooperative with a Jedi. Probably someone less involved with the force or the war would be better to start with, giving her time to open up to people and realize that she wants to be one of the "good guys".

Lol was honestly suggesting no such gungan snogging. Not only could she not handle the tongue, but he has got too many youngans to think about such things. Such attachments would only serve as a distraction for him.




Now then! Evil ex girlfriend. I think I can deliver on that most effectively. How evil and what sort of dynamic would you want them to currently have?



And you are correct. No real One Sith char. The rp will center around the rise of the Sith Warlords, who wish to destroy the One Sith and the Jedi.

Let's see. I feel that if you want to build on the romance side of things, I feel lowering their tiers(mine and yours) would allow for a better Avenue. Be it just knight, or apprentice and rise to knight. As masters, they would be old enough to have mastered it, for one, and have much more control of themselves. And if yours fell due to her self doubt, mine likely wouldnt have given she is on the same path, thus would be a master.



Now! I do already have a sith apprentice. Though she is a bothan, she is indeed hateful, angry, and evil. It wouldnt be so hard to work your character in. She is, however, the apprentice of the very scary Darth Bellator.


But if you want something a bit more customized. Then we should get together and see what ideas we can pull together. I have a few ideas in mind, and would like to see what I can build off your bio.


As for starting. No worries! I shall allow her to find her own path for now.

Huh. Does that mean I should switch her old faction from One Sith to one of the Warlord factions? Give other Sith players a chance to know her? (Although it might be too late for that as I've been developing her around being indoctrinated into the One Sith...)

Well I mean evil is kinda subjective. I know I said "literally evil" but she doesn't actually need to be. Preferably not killing-babies-in-her-free-time evil... maybe puppy kicking evil? Hell, she could even be a measly baby candy stealing evil for all I care. What's really important to me is how they meshed.

Amatiel (Talannia back then) is/was an adrenaline junkie, needing to be in the middle of action to feel alive, so when she wasn't in battle she was usually pretty dour and grumpy. The ideal pairings would be either another high energy character who could help find ways to alleviate the boredom (so the two delinquents), or a character that was the exact opposite, a low energy person who could calm her down (like a temptress type character).

Whatever she ends up being there are two things that I think need to be musts...

1) She needs to be very attached to Amatiel; clingy; maybe even obsessed with her. Amatiel is her best-friend and lover and is therefore the most important person in her life and she was the most important person in Amatiel's... until she left.

2) She was probably the one who found Amatiel during her bout of amnesia and is also probably the one that slaughtered the village that had been taking care of her, accusing them of trying to brainwash her and take away the only person in her life that mattered.


As far as the tiers go I've always seen Amatiel as kind of young (mid to late 20s) and as having risen through the ranks very fast, though she hadn't actually been a master for very long before the amnesia happened and she started to fall. So she kind of brute forced her way into the master tier/rank based on pure power alone but didn't have the experience and firm base that others normally would. So her partner could still have been knight tier, a bit behind her, taking the normal time to reach that higher rank.

However if they were older, had both progressed at the same speed and became masters together, then there was all this time they had spent together, deepening their bonds, forming a much greater connection between them. And then suddenly Amatiel changes, starts doubting herself and the lifestyle they've lived side-by-side and then runs away, abandoning her. It would make the feeling of betrayal that much more dramatic.
 
Oof. Amatiel's bio is turning into an entire essay. I may need to put it in a spoiler tab just to save space for other people.

I would love if her past could remain mostly unchanged from what ive got there~ like her job and moving between jobs??~ of course, ill change specifics, erase anything and make it fit to the current era [gonna have a read through the sources recommended to me, today/tonight] she'd be a Jedi who has operated [mostly] independently for a long time and isn't nearly as good in social situations as she probably hopes/think she is~ always honest/true to her word, as long as it is in others best interests - she is loyal and fierce and wants to be a testament to the peaceful way of the Jedi, by constantly striving/trying to uphold the remembered values of the Jedi. she is yet to entirely refuse an order. she has constant inner turmoil and [seldom expressed] clouded judgment. a long time away from the company of any other Jedi [her only company has been mercenaries, Mandos and troopers] and a lack of constant teaching has made way for her own ideals and interpretations of the Jedi way~ when in the company of other Jedi however, she doesn't speak her opinion, because she does know she has let the Jedi Code escape her more times than she cares to admit.
even as a youngling she has upheld the ways of her Togruta culture and embraced that "Apex Predator" mentality. of course, with her late Masters' guidance, who feared for a short while it might lead directly to the dark side. [what do you know, it didn't]
i don't want to say outright that she could be prey for the Sith now, because she can't see herself falling so low, [i suppose if she were severely corrupted, she'd be all in??] but she is definitely losing her way a bit, and beginning to realise that maybe the Sith and the Jedi are not so different after all, or at least that the Jedi should not shun emotions as much as they do. [because she has a lot of them and she still feels she is deserving of the title "Jedi"]~ her overall views on the Mandalorian war are a little skewed. She's intrigued by what began this war in the first place and constantly wonders what the Jedi could have done to combat it at its heart, before all these years of war broke out. not that she doesn't enjoy the fight~ but if you can avoid violence, she would much rather that than any bloodshed. Jedi or Mandalorian or Sith.

Firstly! It would be a big help if you could reconfigure that information into correct format rather than leave it as is.



Now! To share some lore bits with you. Should it change your mind on some things.


Firstly! The New Jedi Order is a lot more lenient than the doctrinal jedi of old. Luke Skywalker has indeed had many an emotional jedi under him, just as he has had a wife and children. Gone are the days of jedis being the stuffy fuddy duddys.

Secondly! The Sith, Darth Krayt started the war. To essentially conquer the galaxy and unite the Sith under a single ruler. Krayt himself.

Darth Krayt pushed back the Empire, nigh destroyed the New Republic, returning it back to its rebel days.

As for the jedi... the one sith assaulted the jedi temple. Destroying it the jedi there. Then hunted jedi throughout the galaxy, leaving them as less than splinters. Trying to hide and fight back as best they can. This was a bit less than a decade ago.

One such jedi able to kill Darth Krayt... leaving his empire in ruins.


To that regard, well, there is no jedi order to be apart, and little way to not have to be independent.
 
Not yet, there ain't no official declarations of war between the Warlords

But they're all pretty much guaranteed to be on One Sith's hit list sooner or later
 
The Warlords will be allies with each other.

Their war is with the one Sith. Such is the civil war aspect, sith vs sith.
 
Well, this week is going to be chaotic for me since I work retail and it being Thanksgiving and Black Friday. I doubt I will have any free time to make any sort of a decent post.
 
I'm sure there's no one week that would be perfect for everyone, just curious when we were going to start getting some segments of the RP going.
 
I may start us a bit of a little prologue type deal to get the eager among us started this week. I had forgotten about Thanksgiving when I had chose A starting date.
