Hmm... I'll admit that I was think about her at full power when I typed those up and was not considering the fact that she's supposed to be weakened. So what can I do...

- Tutaminis
What I put down actually isn't all that crazy, there being plenty of examples force users doing these things or some even crazier. But yeah, making her weaker... Remove the blocking physical attacks, has to deflect blades rather than catch them... but I'm not making this one too much weaker.

- Force Blade
Okay, I could make it an increase either length or width situation, reduce the amount of area covered because of her mental state, and maybe make the whole flinging energy blades thing its own separate power, one that has been seriously effected by her state of mind to the point of being almost unusable.



Eh, I'll probably add a weakness section anyways, but for now...

- Physical weaponry is not hindered by Tutaminis. While things like vibrosword, shock staves, and stun batons are still affected, weapons that use no form of energy will pass right through her shield.

- Mental Powers
While Amatiel has focused almost solely on physical combat, her ability to use mental powers is sorely lacking. While she has enough training to resist most mental attacks she has to allocate some focus on it, leaving her less focused on any fight she might be in. She also has no ability to make mental attacks of her own and even has some trouble with a simple Force Persuasion.

- Fighting with a team
Amatiel has never worked very well with groups, not just because she has little patience for dealing with others (or in general) but because her large weapon makes her as much a hazard for nearby allies as it does her enemies.



Let me finish her up before I think about this.

Alrighty! Let's break this one down.

1. Tutaminus
Regardless of examples, I need to have a feel of balance in place. As much of a fan of crazy examples as I am (believe me, when I go nuts, I go nuts). The only things I wasnt fond of was the ease and length of use of it. Keep it sparingly, and dont use it as an excuse to not get injured. I have had a similar conversation with Chak regarding Vortiger. Removing kinetic and limiting catching is also good.

2. Force Blade.
With a 10 foot blade, you dont exactly need to double it much more. Getting to some crazy levels of territory. Flinging energy blades seems a little much. But if you tone it back, give it some limits. I'd be more inclined to allow it as an ability she lost from her fall.


3 weaknesses
They seem okay. So ling as they can be exploited by the enemy.


Now! I after going in about balance, it is largely superfluous.

Things are mostly judged by tiers. If two jedi are on the same tier, regardless of abilities, they will be treated effectively equal in a fight. And it wouldn't expected to be played out in such a way. Nor is anyone expected to be played as invincible. As I want there to be struggle and challenge. As such, She would have just a struggle against Azzy as she would against Galen. Just as they would struggle too.

Winners of Duels and battles are decided in advance by the participants. Bargains, pleas, and deals are allowed to be made OOC regarding them. But by rule of thumb, the winner should be the one that makes the plot better, and not just to win. With the battle playing out per script, and to ensure that both sides have fun while doing so. With plenty of give and take.

And a warning to all! Should things be going too well, I may be inclined to throw a wrench into things.

Actually, that would be kinda interesting. If she had a best (cough-only-cough) friend among the Sith. Maybe they were romantically and/or sexually involved. Maybe they were just friends. Maybe it was a one-sided romantic attraction on the friend's part, whether they were sexually involved or not. And then Amatiel (probably not her name while she was with the Sith) abandoned them. Drama, bitch.

Hold on... now I need to decide her sexuality... I'm a roll a bunch of dice for this...
Okay, she doesn't have any issues with interspecies. And she's bisexual with a preference for chicks. Cool.

And yes, the Sith are indeed far more powerful. But the jedi are actually starting to get more players, yay!

okay so~ i've had a good think about i think i have my general idea~ i apologise if this sounds wack or doesn't have a good flow, had a big night last night and I feel like sheeeeeeeet right now~ hurts all over~ including me brain

okay, so,
I would love if her past could remain mostly unchanged from what ive got there~ like her job and moving between jobs??~ of course, ill change specifics, erase anything and make it fit to the current era [gonna have a read through the sources recommended to me, today/tonight] she'd be a Jedi who has operated [mostly] independently for a long time and isn't nearly as good in social situations as she probably hopes/think she is~ always honest/true to her word, as long as it is in others best interests - she is loyal and fierce and wants to be a testament to the peaceful way of the Jedi, by constantly striving/trying to uphold the remembered values of the Jedi. she is yet to entirely refuse an order. she has constant inner turmoil and [seldom expressed] clouded judgment. a long time away from the company of any other Jedi [her only company has been mercenaries, Mandos and troopers] and a lack of constant teaching has made way for her own ideals and interpretations of the Jedi way~ when in the company of other Jedi however, she doesn't speak her opinion, because she does know she has let the Jedi Code escape her more times than she cares to admit.
even as a youngling she has upheld the ways of her Togruta culture and embraced that "Apex Predator" mentality. of course, with her late Masters' guidance, who feared for a short while it might lead directly to the dark side. [what do you know, it didn't]
i don't want to say outright that she could be prey for the Sith now, because she can't see herself falling so low, [i suppose if she were severely corrupted, she'd be all in??] but she is definitely losing her way a bit, and beginning to realise that maybe the Sith and the Jedi are not so different after all, or at least that the Jedi should not shun emotions as much as they do. [because she has a lot of them and she still feels she is deserving of the title "Jedi"]~ her overall views on the Mandalorian war are a little skewed. She's intrigued by what began this war in the first place and constantly wonders what the Jedi could have done to combat it at its heart, before all these years of war broke out. not that she doesn't enjoy the fight~ but if you can avoid violence, she would much rather that than any bloodshed. Jedi or Mandalorian or Sith.

I think "whiskers" is a little to low in the ranks/young(?) to be her bff/lover. Plus she seems a little devoted to someone else right now. (Wait... are they even in the same faction?)
And I'll have to pass on snogging Buul. I don't know if she'd necessarily have an issue with it, but I've personally have a no-Gungun dating policy. So no. XD


In all seriousness though, the more I think about the old Sith flame idea the more I really like it and really want to make it a thing! (Is it just me or is there a lack of One Sith members? A few defectors to the Separatist Union, but none that are still loyal.) I'm already writing into Amatiel's bio that she had a best friend, and if you've really got the fancy to make characters then get to it! Make me a literally evil ex-girlfriend. (The more I think about it the more I want to make Amatiel just strait up gay.)

As far as Buul goes I am totally fine with him taking her under his wing... er, flipper. But I'm not sure it should be right at the beginning. Like it should take some time, give her a chance to be ready to accept his teachings, because as it stands at the beginning she will probably not be too cooperative with a Jedi. Probably someone less involved with the force or the war would be better to start with, giving her time to open up to people and realize that she wants to be one of the "good guys".
