Futuristic Star Wars: Darkness Among us

*Elena fended off Faren's ferocious blows, his power was really showing its more sinister side and fighting back became a near struggle. Malorie was also hardly defending herself, so much as perfectly and successfully saving herself. His charred body seems to sizzle as he threw himself at us. Elena uses the force and backflips a few meters away and throws her lightsaber with all her might. It misses Faren; but it sens the left side of his armor tumbling in the dirt.*

"Malorie! Get his weak spot!"

*Elelna prepared for an attack, she hadn't done this too much, but she felt the force in her veins guiding her.*

@Blarg222

Jean had finished putting his cloak on. He clipped his saber to his belt. Staring at the water Faren had fallen into, he pulled his hood over his head, the shadow of the cloak covering his face. He walked away from the scene. He had avoided the grenade, by simple standing. He manipulated his own move set to dodge an attack and land to an angle to where Faren absorbed most of the shrapnel. He had a few pieces him his arm, but he could get them out later. He looked at Sam and Malorie.

"I was never here, Understand?"

@Xtremenerd @BeamMeUpScotty

Sam slowly gets up, his head throbbing from the sound of the explosion, which was causing his ears to ring still, as well as his body, which had slammed into the tree, He looked at the guy who was wearing the cloak? "why are you trying to be so inconspicuous?" Sam slowly got to his, wincing in pain, as he tried standing up

Malorie gasped for air almost, as the fight came to an end. Faren's outburst had led her to change form. In her cat-like form and with her ears going every which way and her now slitted golden and green eyes moving over the other figures, Malorie did not just yet deactivate her lightsaber. Her limbs now marked and her figure so changed she stood taller even than before. Malorie then quickly moved her head to Jean and she gave him a questioning look. He was, very mysterious. Sam talking had her look to him, then back to the cloaked young man, around her age. "I will uphold that request, if you wish." Even her voice had slightly changed, her voice box meant for the tongue she used in this form, but if she had used it the men would not have understood.

She then somewhat ignored them to move over to Faren in the water. He was breathing shallowy. And even though Elena had told her to target him she was not exactly sure it was fair. The fight was over. "Elena -and I am sure that is your name-, I will not."

She did however hold her saber incase as she inspected the Sith Lord. Malorie's newfound tail flicked lightly behind her and to her side.

Faren drifted around within his mind, his mind blurred and he was certain he had died. All he saw within was darkness, before every man, woman, and child he murdered walked before him, their wounds still upon their bodies. The formed a wall around him as he tried to run. They soon chanted, "Murderer, Filth, liar, betrayer, Sith!" As they spoke it grew louder and louder. They soon encroached upon him their hands grabbing him as he soon was consumed.

Suddenly he was jerked back into the light, though it was not the afterlife. Above him stood some sort of Kathar women, behind her the skies of Kashyyk. He looked at her for a moment, feeling his breathe tighten he realized he had removed his respirator helmet. He snapped his arm up and grabbed the wrist of the woman,

"My...ma....sk.....give...it" he coughed out, barely enough oxygen within him. He was weak, he plea one unusual of a Sith.

ICOV-3

Suddenly, the starfighter pulled away, and began dipping down towards a canopy. The land's exposed beach had a numerous amount of people on it, and the massive forest behind it concealed a cliff-face that laid on the edge of the land, bursting out of the water and beach. Here, Rayy Caz would pick up his cargo, the stranded Sith Agent.

The ship bursted into speed, and then quickly slowed down as it stopped right in front of the maze of trees, which would prove deadly to the ship if it impacted with one. Carefully, Rayy would maneuver into the mess of bark, lowering engine power and maximizing shield power. Hopefully, the trees would also provide sufficient cover against any starfighters tailing him, and would probably discourage more adept pilots.

ARRYA

Arrya continued to run into the forest, heading up a steepening slope of land. Ahead, her extraction point laid visible past numerous brush and fleeing animals. She grit her teeth, however, when blaster-bolts from bowcasters began to slam into the land around her, one whizzing past and burning her left shoulder. The agent continued to run, trying to ignore the pain in her right leg due to a fractured knee and torn calf.

Jean picked up Faren's mask. "This mask?" He smirked. His smirk then faded away as he stared down at it. "Fine, I'll give it to you...but you leave this place-" He paused, tossing the mask to Faren. "Now..."

Malorie jerked slightly as the Sith Lord grasped her wrist in an almost feeble attempt. She looked down at him with sorrow, though not enough remorse for what was happenning as a Jedi, should have. She moved her saber to the side slightly, feeling no need to detatch any of his limbs at the given moment. Her head snapped to Jean lightly as he spoke, eyes still on Faren. The mask being chucked didn't hit the ground as Malorie's tail caught it before it had a chance to. Her tail brought it over to Faren, for him to grasp. And she removed her wrist from his hand, not too harshly, that would be unlike her even with a Sith.

((Just a small reminder of Malorie's looks. A Sub-species of Cathar, and a human form. She is alot like a changeling I think..))

Faren saw the Kathar soon bring the helmet to his grasp, pulling it as quick as he could with his drained strength he placed it once more over his head and heard a hiss confirmed its attachment. He soon felt breathe returning to him, though it was raspy due to the helmet's sustained damage. He slowly attempted to rise but a sharp pain in his abdomen prevented him, he ran his hand over the area and found a white chunk of metal, no doubt shrapnel from the destroyed escape pod. He looked back to the Kathar, "Can....not...move...just...kill...me. Master.....gone....nothing...left....to fight for. Do it....Jedi....you....know...I deserve...it." Faren coughed, his respirator barely improving his speech, as he leaned back awaiting to be struck down.

Jean looked at Faren. He turned and kept walking. He picked up a satchel he had dropped when taking his hood off the fight Faren. He opened it. He removed a jedi Holocron from the bag...once he made sure it was safe and undamaged he stored it away back into the bag and jumped into the trees, dissapearing.

Heavy blaster fire arcs into the trees around Arrya and a bunch of dead Wookies drop out. The space a few metres away from her shimmers as Eago's starfighter decloaks in front of her. R2-Z8 whistles a greeting to her as Eago gets out, a grin on his face. "I bet you are glad to see me, yes?"

Jean see's a dead wookie drop out of a tree. He quickly hides behind a tree and shrouds himself in the shrubery. Inspecting the wookie's body, he looks around...up at the sky...and toward his belt...grabbing his saber hilt.

"No, focus more Jace! I fell your anger, your emotion, but you're wild! Like an animal, cornered, deadly, but predictable!"

The Sith tripped Jace effortlessly as his assault was quickly ended, the cold hard floor now pressing against his back as he peered up at his master once more; another defeat, and for the same reasons as before. With a seething growl, and not another word, the boy took his training lightsaber in hand, and took positions once more. The duel resuming.

In a flurry of deadly, efficient strikes, the Sith quickly put Jace on the defensive; making him rely purely on Djem-So, which led to the best defense being a good offense, and with incredibly speedy, ferocious strikes, combined with great athletic ability, soon, like every other duel; Jace was once again pushing his trainer back, yet this time, he focused. Chanelling his anger into his strikes, and not just releasing it relentlessly. No opportunity to escape appeared to the Sith, and before long, Jace planted a vicious kick into his stomach, before following with a swift disarm.

"...Good.... Good.... Boy, you did... Well." The Sith panted through hurried breaths, regaining his composure and balance. Jace merely smirked, "I know." The Sith did not reply, "Is that it? Is my training done?" The Sit merely laughed. "Your training is never done, you will continue to train as long as you're alive, and as long as you remember to focus, you may not end up dead." Jace stared daggers at the Sith, as if forcing him to tell Jace what he wanted to hear. After a moment of silence, the Sith complied. "...However, now that you have formally beaten me, I will assign you too a squadron to command. And a sector to take. You see, a war is raging over Kashyyk, and it has took the attention of the Jedi. In their moment of weakness, you, my boy, will take Mustafar; an easy task, as it is mostly unoccupied. But we will start small, and the planet is an ideal location for setting up a new headquarters for the Sith order."

Jace merely stared, unable to think coherently. He could do so much more than clear out ruins, yet even he knew a home was needed. Even if it was Mustafar; the spaceship was horrendous, and Jace had wanted fresh air for weeks. So he merely nodded, in agreement. "Good, good..." The Sith mumbled, "Then we set a course for Mustafar."

*Elena swings her saber at her allies and speaks in a shooken tone. There was no way that this Sith was going to be allowed free. Faren Oden would rot and she would become famous for her effort, as will her allies. She stepped toward Faren with her blade to his throat. His raspy and broken breaths were ringing through the woods. It was for once, silent all around us.*

"Faren, you will pay for your crimes and your tedious affiliation. Rise to me, so i can strike you down! Or surrender you coward!"

Malorie's tail quickly returned to it's usual place as the helmet was taken back by Faren. She waited while he breathed in and out, the sounds almost inaudible. As Elena once again interjected, Malorie took no haste in moving in front of Faren, perhaps more than the slightest. Her lightsaber moved against Elena's, hitting it away, and saved Faren from a burn at his throat. It was nothing but instinct, purely merciful instinct.

"Elena." Malorie looked Elena in the eyes with her own glowing slitted ones. "You must think reasonably. I will take him into custody here on Kahyyyk, and then take him with me to Coruscunt. I am to see the council. They will take him into custody and he will face a fair trial. As all should." Her words and her tone were pressing, and her stance never lowered, even with Elena's small rage at the Sith. She held her lightsaber firmly at her side, careful of her surroundings.

"Malorie! You can't possibly be serious. Think of all the dead he's responsible for! This half man, half robot should die... If Master Oden falls, the Sith is one less of a leader. "

*Elena could feel the contempt in her words, but she felt she means it. If Faren is dead, not only will she be rewarded tremendously, but the Empire will skip a few steps backward in the tide of war. Elena raised the blade high in an angle to his throat. Until the saber went off and she gained her composure, sighing heavily at the decision. Facing a fair trial, he'll still get what's coming to him and justice will be served; but could the really hold Oden? She asked herself; well, he'll remember this day Elena Jorn could have killed him right her in the depths of Kashyyk. She turned to Malorie and nodded.

"Let's bring him in."

@BeamMeUpScotty

Faren gave off a faint chuckle at Elena's argument, "You...really..think that? You...jedi..are so...foolish. I...am a pawn....in a great...game of chess....if you...strike..me down...you'll only free....the empire...of one loose end." Faren coughed through his respirator, seeing the two Jedi, "The Voice....decides all fates....The Voice is the Dark Side...The Voice is.." Faren choked before he began to fade out, his blood loss now beginning to affect him.

Jean had returned to warn the group of Jedi that an invasion might be taking place. He heard what Faren said...and stood behind him, far but not to far.

His hood shrouded his face in shadow...

"You're words...they won't effect them...they're souls...bodies...minds...they're all strong with the force...And you thought the dark side was your ally...and look how it left you, broken. Merely a shadow of your formal self"

He walked closer, circling Faren until he was in front, not facing his back.

"You're not going to make it, I hope you realize that...but you could've saved yourself along time ago...just like all who turn to the dark side, there is a way out...I tried to tell that to-"

He stopped...Lowering his head...His face now more shrouded in the shadows of his hood...

In the shadows...of his past...

ARRYA

Arrya smirked as she eyed Eago, nodding as she limped towards the ship. The ship that had come to aid in her retrieval flew overhead, incinerating the Wookiee pursuers behind Arrya. The Sith Agent murmured an unheard thanks as she eyed the sky, before looking back down towards Eago. She felt terrible, her wounds were more than just a few scratches and scrapes...

"Thanks.. Get me out of here," Arrya would let out after a groan of pain, getting straight to the point with Eago.

Malorie stepped back, revealing Faren again and she gave Elena a thankful nod of her head. "Thankyou, Jorn." Why this meant so much to her she knew not.

Malorie then bent down to Faren's height. Her lightsaber deactivated and went to her belt. Her hands quickly removed Faren of his own saber. And her tail also picked out any other concealed weapons quickly. It didn't take long for Faren's lightsaber to be hidden behind Malorie's changed around cloak, and a pile to be set in the middle of the small area they were in.

"Save your remarks for the trial," she glanced to the once again cloaked figure. Though she did catch the end of his words, and sensed the pain within. She would be sure to investigate further, ask a few questions perhaps.

"Elena, if you don't mind, you may use my speeder to return to the main village here. Easily founded, the Wookie's will recognuse you as a Jedi. Find my father and have him bring reinforcements to bring in the Sith, perhaps a medic. We'll be able to arrange quick and safe transpirt with The Council from there." Malorie only asked of this kindly and gently. And not that she didn't trust Elena with Faren, but she didn't trust her with a Sith Lord she so far wants executed on sight. "Please, one of us must stay and make sure he stays alive and in one place." She glanced at the sad cloaked figure, not exactly counting him as he had a tendency to leave without notice. "I understand if you prefer I go," Malorie returned her gaze to Elena, the statement hoping to ease the request a little and not flatten it completely.
