Nation Building Star Chronicles: Flags in Space (OOC Thread)

This is the OOC thread for the Star Chronicles RP. All Out of Character Discussion should go here. As the roleplay develops, more things such as maps and current events shall be added here. For now, here are the rules:

Rules:

1. All of the RPNation rules apply. This should be a given.

2. No godmodding, powerplaying, metagaming, etc. This should also be a given.

3. The admins of this roleplay are myself, Thrace The Governor Archene and EmperorAzazel do please listen to them when they say things.

4. Post your nation applications in the Character Thread. I know it says characters, but in this case, your nation is your character. Actual characters are inconsequential enough to be thrown in as the plot needs. This roleplay takes on a rather large scale, after all. If you need to put someone very important in your nation application, use the notable persons field.

5. Put "Prepare the Battle Cattle" in your application.

6. War is really fun, but do understand that players may not wish to see the nation they spent hours creating crushed by another military only a few minutes into the roleplay. Try to be courteous and negotiable when it comes to warfare, that's what the OOC Thread is for.

8. For roleplay interactions that are purely character based, i.e. personal meetings, casual civilian conversation, dates, hangouts, etc. Use the Other Thread. It really shaves on clutter.

7. Have fun. Yes. This is a rule now.

8. Allow me to reserve one post so I can kickstart our roleplay with a call for a diplomatic meeting~​

I see that this roleplay has just started, and I am interested in joining. Although before I start my application, I need to ask: can I do a hive mind, or are only conventional nations allowed? Do you have any concers about balance, how will this fit into the universe or just how will it be recieved by other players?

A Hive Mind is perfectly acceptable! I'm sorry for taking so long to respond to this, I forgot to add notifications for the OOC Thread. Whoops. So long as you use common sense in making your hive mind, and don't scale it to the likes of Warhammer's Tyranids, I don't believe there should be any sort of problem with it! Cheers!

Will start following the thread now so that I can properly answer stuff. Should have my app finished this week. But mulling on how to remake the Acruani in a way that feel perfectly within the currently acceptable.
