Hey, like I said, I'm only human. You come up with a reasonable and cohesive argument for your position, I'll listen to it. There may be times that I have things out of the players' eyes that counter your point, but this time you had it right.
Thanks! More often than not, I'm told that I do have it right, unless I'm missing data or have misunderstood something about how the data interacts. I don't mind being wrong; I do mind not being accurate! Heh!

I'm just glad that everyone here is willing to discuss things and admit when a mistake is made, and even happier about the way that the error is owned and fixed by everyone.

And that is one of the things I love about you. Thanks for understanding and not getting all upset.

Oh, amen! That's why I can game with you for all of these years! I just love you guys! =)

I'm also happy to have that '1' out of the way. It wasn't a lot of damage, but hey! Every point counts, right?

I also have to say that the drawing of the spider-mecha is a bit disturbing. Whomever came up with that has a dark imagination.

True! I will say that the Gun Spiders aren't the worst things in the book that you'll eventually deal with.

Well, yeah. For me, it's all about the fun and the fairness. In any gaming medium, I don't mind losing as long as it's a true loss.

I kind of need GMs like the two of you because you never mind when I ask questions. When I want to understand your world, your characters, your scenes, and so forth. Mine is genuine interest!

There are gamers I interact with in other gaming mediums that I don't know half as well as folks here on RP Nation. Some of them don't know where I'm coming from when I ask my questions. But you two do. So do most of the PCs I share games with. That trust and benefit of the doubt goes a long way! =)

Which reminds me of a detail I've forgotten to ask. Hey Sherwood Sherwood ? If we decide to spend Action Points on our Initiative, that affects the Sidekicks's Initiative too since they go on our turn, doesn't it?

If so, is that the way you want it? Or would you rather the Sidekicks were not affected by Action Point expenditure?

Technically, the Sidekicks should have their own roll for initiative if they are to act independently of the character, and only act on the same initiative if you are using your action to directly control the weapon. I haven't worried about that, letting the Sidekick act at the same initiative as the character they are associated with. If you spend an AP on initiative, that bonus will apply to the Sidekicks, too.

Thank you! =)

Sherwood Sherwood I would like to spend an Action Point to increase Chaska's Initiative beyond +8, please.

Sherwood Sherwood can you give a description of the area they are fighting in? Is it a hollowed out building with floors around them? How big?

You are in the lobby of a high rise building. The lobby large, a rough rectangle 80'x60', with a ceiling that is four stories high. There are several doors of SDC material leading to small offices, a bank of six elevators to your left, and two large holes in the walls, one to the front and one to your rear, that the fighting robots had smashed through to get from one street to the other. There is rubble in the form of busted up masonry, drywall and broken glass all over the place.

Another bump for celestialbody celestialbody are you still interested in joining us here? If you’ve changed your mind I don’t want to keep bothering you.
No no no, I'm still here, sorry about that.

I'm gonna go look at the pdf and select the elective and secondary skills and choose what to spend my BIO-E points on
I will say I'm a bit confused about the Bio-E for my swarm being 300? I might just be confused bc the info for it isn't on the pdf or maybe I'm just being slow but is there separate point to spend specifically on just my hive?

Yes, there are separate bio e points for your armor and your swarm. As you level up, you get a small pool of extra points to your armor and a larger set of points to increase the power of your swarm.

Remember that you cannot get a ranged weapon built into your armor, but you can add on melee weapons and get hand held guns.

For your swarm, I see a real benefit to getting some Stink Bugs to be able to recall your insects from one target when it has been destroyed so you don’t waste the life of your swarm on a target that’s been eliminated. Your hive keeps making bugs, but if you use all of your bugs in one fight you’ll have to wait an hour or two to grow enough to make an effective attack.
