Yes, there are separate bio e points for your armor and your swarm. As you level up, you get a small pool of extra points to your armor and a larger set of points to increase the power of your swarm.

Remember that you cannot get a ranged weapon built into your armor, but you can add on melee weapons and get hand held guns.

For your swarm, I see a real benefit to getting some Stink Bugs to be able to recall your insects from one target when it has been destroyed so you don’t waste the life of your swarm on a target that’s been eliminated. Your hive keeps making bugs, but if you use all of your bugs in one fight you’ll have to wait an hour or two to grow enough to make an effective attack.

Okay! I see now, under swarm lord it has the bugs and the costs of the bugs, I understand now!
And gotcha, no ranged weapons attached to my armor!

I am not trying to recommend this when I say it; I'm just handing out the praise - that Tunnel Rat is bad to the bone! Whomever designed that knew what a Vietnam War Tunnel Rat was all about - raising hell, getting the goods, and staying alive long enough to talk about it! =)

I guess for an initial concept, how well would sapper/battlefield engineer fit/work here? Less big guns and dps, more support and battlefield control sort of thing. Assisting the team via scouting, traps, and other such technical things.


Also I suppose I need to about getting some rolls in.

Yeah, you can use that bio-e how you wish, either on your War Mount or on your own Host Armor. Plus you can use your credits to buy more bio-e at the cost of 1,000 credits per bio-e point. Makes getting credits a little more rewarding.

I'm kinda partial to the Stalker War Mount. Sneaky kitty with lots of rockets on it, and no need to buy the Stealth upgrade to it since it already comes with it. But the Tunnel Rat has some nice features to it, too.

Very true, my friend. And I don't fear reprisals from you or Psychie; whatever I do to you or you guys get into, I can trust that you can remember that this is all a game. I've pulled some pretty bone-headed stuff in other games of theirs and I don't take it personally when I get bit on the butt. lol

But Purr is correct in saying that this was just my way of saying that this campaign can get very ugly, depending on how close I follow the book. With both D. Rex and you joining in, I can ramp up both the threat level and the bonuses given to the team with your successes.

Hah! Reading this a second time, well, I think I should be more clear - I would at worst have teased Sherwood in a good-natured manner about any "evil" he added to the game. I only choose to hang around decent people and Sherwood, Psychie, and I have been hanging around each other for years. I've also been gaming with Eon and D. Rex on and off for years too. (There are a lot of cool people here on RP Nation!) Being friends, I like to tease them, but only as long as they're laughing at the jokes too!

So have no worries, Celeste! celestialbody ! You and D. Rex joining our game here is nothing but a great thing, fellow gamer!

Right? Yeah! You and I have been in Psychie's Exalted game since October of 2022. Plus, we may have gamed prior to that (my brain's not awake yet so pardon me if I don't recall? Heh!). =)
