Hello there! So, I am new here but I have been roleplaying for over 10 years now. I have been rping on roleplaygateway for some time now but it seems the site has finally started to dwindle to it's end I fear. So, I stumbled across this website and your post. I would love to share some ideas with you! 
Here we go:
Idea one: Houses. I love LOVE the idea you have for making the school your own but I am also in love with the idea of the houses. Like, that was such a huge deal for me and it's like having a school with different teams. I actually went to a school that did something similar and it was super cool. So, I was wondering if that was something you were interested in adding. I would be more than happy to help make the houses.
Idea two (more of a question): Class and schedule. Do you have a plan for the classes and schedules? I was just curious that way people making their characters know.
Idea three: DRAMA (In character of course). So, I think the house thing will add some rivalry but what about a major conflict? Is someone trying to invade the school and we have to fight to keep it open? Is there going to be a major villain? MURDER? A secret chamber where bodies are found and everyone is trying to keep it secret so no one has to go home but everyone is kinda freaked out about it?
Idea four (I'm sorry): Birthrights. Sooo, being Harry Potter -esque, are some witches/wizards going to be like pure blood and then other come frommuggle regular families?
Idea five (last one, I promise!): Powers! Soooo, some witches and wizards have super cool powers like the parselmouths, animagus, metamorphmagus, or seers? I really loved these ideas and how they created a struggle for the characters that had these powers.
Ok, now just a question that I don't really have too many ideas for (at the moment): Will you be making up the spell names?

Hiya :3 I am also new here but have been roleplaying for about eight years. But don't quote me on that fact- it sounds right but I have no clue of how long exactly. My site has also started to end and I would love to join in on this harry potter amazingness. I am gonna put my two cents in as well~
I agree with Mina on the houses thing. I think it's one of my favourite aspects and adds a good air of competition between characters. I am just having all the similar things with this human as I also went to a school that did the house thing and it just made things so fun. I love a good competition! I would also love to help if you decided to add in houses~
I think she covered most of my questions well so all I really have to add is I would be happy to help with everything!

Hello! I am also new here (Newbies unite), but I have a hefty amount of years in rping on different sites. Anyway, I want to know if I can participate in this if I have little to no knowledge of Harry Potter. We won't get into why I haven't watched/read most of them because it is an unpopular opinion, but I am always interested in wizardry.
So, is this a completely new school and universe and only based off the harry potter series? Or will it be in the same universe?
