Fantasy Soul Secrets

Noticing that all the soldiers sent were unconscious now, Julie stepped outside. He began treating them for the wounds in the mean time,"Anyone have a good idea of where we can go? Somewhere far from civilization preferably." He asked wrapping bandages around a man's bleeding head.

Ducking an exploding TV, she wrapped and crushed some SEP.. just not to death. Vines covered in thorns danced around her and she rook one, using it like a whip to poison. Other branches caught bullets heading for her comrades. Seeing a familiar face holding a powerful explosive, she cussed and rammed into him shoulder first, propelling both out the window.

He was planning on bringing everyone in the building down. Handing hard. Ontop of him, eoots pulled him and the device under ground. The device further and the ground shook with the explosion.

Lexi shouldered her bag and ran over to Val, rummaging through it she pulled out a large hoodie and tracksuit pants. "Get these on, i'll cover you because you wont fight well like this."

She falls as the ground shakes. "T-thanks," She quickly hides behind a tree and changes before coming out. "Do you think we should flee the state?"

Where could they flee to?! Lexi ran her fingers through her hair, there was her- her old family house, no-one has lived there in over a year, maybe she could vouch it as a safe house? She cringed at the thought, Only as a last resort.

Ben Got up and made her way to the others, looking down with displeasure and apology. "..theres no way we will get passed inspection on any borders.."

"With the security checks no." Julie said finishing patching one of the soldier,"We need a way to travel undetected. Do you think James can refract light for temporary invisibility?"

"Anyone have a house out of town, like a holiday home, an abandoned farm, literally anything?" She could hear panicked people on the street, their fight didn't go unnoticed.

Travis saw the Green Soul, along with another one, flee. A bunch of S.E.P went chasing after them. After making sure that there wasn't a soldier nearby, he popped out the wheels from his roller shoes and skated after them. It was easy to find where they were thanks to all the ruckus he was hearing. He looked around the corner to see the S.E.P battling against what he assumed to be souls in a apartment. He witnessed the defeat of every solider, now unconscious. The Yellow Soul was impressed by how powerful the souls were, though he was disgruntled to see more violence. He skated over to the apartment, making sure to carefully step over the fallen soldiers. The scene was a mess. "Hello?" He called out.

(damn more fighting lmao)

Somehow, Chantal agreed with the words of Cameron. Being here definitely wasn't safe but she didn't want to run and hide anymore – at least not now. She felt him left the bed, missing his arm around her already, but remained in the bed and curled up into a ball, trying to go back to sleep with the comfort of her own. Just then, commotion was heard from the outside the bedroom which made her shoot up from laying down and stand up. She saw Lexi grab her bag and intended on following her but remained still, looking back at the window in the bedroom.

Running over to it, she opened it just enough to peek her head out through it and estimated how long of a drop it was. Much to her dismay, it was a rather long drop but she wasn't going to go around in the living room, not with all of that going on. She sucked her teeth and clenched her hands against the windowsill. Coward, she yelled at herself mentally.

She stuck out a foot and a leg from the window, the height of the fall spiking her nervousness but when she heard another bang, she lifted her other leg through and jumped out, thinking of how much of a stupid idea this was. As she got closer to the ground – she didn't know how – her telekinesis kicked in and smoothed her fall, the energy around her feet causing a bed of gravity to slow her down, placing her gently on the concrete.

Sighing out of relief, she looked around for guards or anyone of the souls. When no one could be found, she took a step forward, only to be bounced to the far right due to apparent energy still coated around her foot, knocking her into a S.E.P van that was stationed. A couple of officers was startled at the impact, turning around to see what it was. Once realizing it was her, they drew their guns on her and spat their curses. Chantal tried to stand but with the force of the collision, she could only get on her knees. She looked up at them and sighed, telepathically going into their minds and changing them to put their guns down and look the other way.

Using the side of the van, she pushed herself up, wincing at the pain and took an experimental step forwards to see if anything like that would happen again. Gratefully it didn't. She then turned on her heel and limped towards the direction of her home, still looking out for anymore soldiers. Home... just sounded good right now.

"Are you going to go after her?" Julie asked Cameron while focusing on a soldier. He didn't understand what Chantal was doing going off by herself in public like that. One man he previously patched began groaning after waking up but was met with a swift punch that knocked him out again. He looked over at Travis, gesturing him over,"Soul?". They had to move fast and it didn't matter where, as more vans appeared at the scene. An invisibility field from James would definitely help right now.

She turned to the boy "Hi? So what came we do, just go off the grid and try to live in the woods or somethings?" She wouldn't mind that but what about food and clothes.

Lexi saw more vans approaching. "Damn!" She ran towards her front window and shot shockwaves out, killing the battery of all the electrical items and vehicles, bar one. " Lets discuss that later at get out of here!" She jumped over to Julie. "Look, see that van?" She pointed to the one van she didn't screw with. "The rest can't run, but that can, I say if we manage to get into that we can drive outta here, the others can't chase us, we'll gain some time." Raising her voice so everyone heard she outlined her plan again, "Anyone got a better idea?!"

"You guys are the one from the forest, right? And you're Valentina." He said as he tried to make himself look presentable.Gosh, he was a mess. Everything also is a mess. Travis noticed that more vans were coming. "Uh oh." He said as he started to back away from them as far as he could.

She nods, "We were but how do you know my name, whatever, you should come with us it's not safe here anymore." She grabs his hand and drags him closer to the group.

Lex found herself gravitating towards Val and the new guy. "Ok great we've all got a new guy to experience near death with." That sounded a bit harsh so she turned to smile at him, surprised to note that he was also a yellow soul. "By any chance can you drive?"

( Hey! This is probably my last post until about 10 PM. I'm hopping on a plane and going back home, and I will be back on around that time. )

Cameron nodded at Julie.
"I'll be back." That was before he shot off, flying as fast as he could in Chantal's general direction. When he made it, he dropped down to the floor and walked after her. Where was she going? After realizing that she had no intention of joining back with the group, he stopped. They were in the middle of public, and between the both of them, they were a spectacle for sure. Plenty of people stopped to watch, but Cameron hadn't found it within him to care. Halting his forward advancement, he watched her walk for the next couple of seconds, not sure what to say. After that, though, he decided that it was better for him to atleast try and convince Chantal to stay, instead of letting her walk out of his life - their lives, to who-knows-what.

"Are you leaving?" He called after her. Cameron didn't use his powers, he didn't yell. He didn't sound confrontational, yet he also didn't sound as though that was a legitimate question. The young man knew that she was going, but he wanted her to say it to him. "Where are you going to go?" The government knew they were souls. It wouldn't be a surprise if their families had all ready been contacted and their apartments all bugged. What if the SEP was waiting for them to think home was a viable option? Cameron didn't have a single doubt that the SEP was trying to catch the group off guard, just like they had moments ago inside of the apartment they spent the night in. "You shouldn't go..." Gritting his teeth, the pink soul would turn to look at all the people who surrounded the two. Some of them even had their camera's up, recording their movements. Turning from Chantal, he looked around at all the people who were shocked.

"How many years has this country been trying to fight for peace and equality? Why are we letting the government throw it all away?!" He growled, loudly as he continued looking from person to person. "We are not animals. We have consciouses, families and lives to lead! We have dreams and hopes that we want to turn into a reality! The SEP is trying to take that from us, ALL of it!" His fists clenched at his sides, Cameron's nose crinkled in rage. "I WILL NOT GO DOWN WITHOUT DEFENDING MY RIGHTS! NO ONE IN MY GROUP WILL! OUR MESSAGE TO THE GOVERNMENT IS: STOP HUNTING US, WHILE WE STILL GIVE YOU THE OPTION!"

And with that, Cameron pushed through the massive flock of people who surrounded him, stopping after a couple feet to look toward the group of souls. The rest of the populous in his immediate radius turned to stare at them too, with cameras pointing.

Bens eyes widened. "Sorry.. some call it leadership skills. I call it steroids." She chuckled, moving into the van and motioning Lex over. "With your soul you could probably make it work... unless the keys are in here and this guys an idiot."

"We met yesterday in the morning before everything went down? You're my classmate." He said as he slid when she pulled him to her. He saw that normal people were using their camera, on them; the boy suddenly felt self conscious. A girl, another yellow soul, approached him and asked him if he could drive. " Um no, sorry. I only needed these." He said, pointing to his roller shoes.

"Sorry I really don't remember you but it's nice to meet you again." She gives him a grin. "Hotwire the car huh, well that's all good and cool but we still need a person who knows how to drive." She looks at Julie. "You're old right, can you drive?"

"Yeah, I can drive" Julie answered reluctantly as he finishes patching up every soldier. He'd been more of a walking person, but he is no stranger to the road. Of course he can't do cool flips and shit. Julie walked down toward the van, looking around at the unconscious men, glad that they weren't seriously injured, only knocked out from the shock. "Keys are still in here" he said, dragging the unconscious man on the wheel off onto the road and any others who were inside.

Lex nodded at Ben, as long as someone could at least steer she could keep the engine powered up. She laughed at the steroids comment, she didn't know who it was pointed to but she laughed anyway. with Ben already at the van, Lex looked up to cover the others, another damn van was on its way! "GUYS! More are on the way, everyone get down here, I'll keep you covered just get here quick!" Lex ran and hopped up on another car hood. She aimed towards the oncoming cars and sent shockwave after shockwave, cutting out batteries and SEP's lost control of their cars, some collided. Lex winced at the destruction she caused but she had to but them some time.

Chantal felt the other pink soul's presence as he made his way towards her and wished, for once, he didn't come after her. She was tired of all this – fighting, getting hurt (watching people get hurt) and, oddly enough, running. She knew going home would probably be a death trap but for right now, she didn't care. She didn't care if the S.E.P. whisked her away and put her into custody, or did whatever they do to souls.

She continued to walk, hearing Cameron call out to her. Yes, she was leaving for what good could she possibly do to help when she was in this state. She limped away but started to notice a group of people surrounding them with cameras, filming them. Turning back to face the male, she gave him a look of disbelief as he grew angry and spewed out threats towards the government. They were never going to get equality for a long as they did fight, she knew that, so again, what was the point?

Chantal looked at Cameron for while as be pushed through the crowds before looking down, turning back towards the direction of her house. She was so confused but started to limp away again, ignoring the cameras pointed at her face for she didn't care. Setting up a link telepathically to Cameron, she said, softly: “I'm sorry. Goodbye.” And with that, she conjured up energy around her feet again and used telekinesis gravity to bounce up from the crowd and further away from the group of souls.

She dragged the boy into the van with her. "Sorry I'm being so rough but I thought you might run off like our other friend, better safe then sorry right." She gives him a weak smile before turning to Julie," which way do we want highway, or backroads?"
