Fantasy Soul Secrets

[sorry everyone! Sometimes at night here the wifi cuts out that's what happened! I'm just going to say Lexi passed out from exhaustion.]
Lexi groaned and stretched out.She could hear voices and a smell of food wafted over her. She sat up groggily rubbing her eyes, dazed in her half sleepy state she simply stared at all the people milling around in her apartment.

Cameron woke up a handful of hours later, facing Chantal, who was still asleep. He felt slightly more rejuvenated as a result of his nap, but he could have kept going. Unfortunately, Cameron was one of those people who could continue to sleep their lives away, so he oftened forced himself to wake up at times where he could have slept in. Moving to the window in their room, he would try to open it as slowly and quietly as possible... Of course, to sneak a cigarette in because he was a fiend. Apparently, that benzodiazepine which he snorted did the trick last night - which was all he could really ask of it; to do it's job. His feet gracefully left the floor as he turned slightly to fit his body through the window.

When he was done, he came back in and shut the window. He didn't necessarily have a change of clothing, so instead of worrying about showering and changing for now, he would just wait to do so later in the day. He could always stop off at his place and see if he could, at any end. Cameron didn't exactly expect it to be crawling with SEP officials, but the possibility still existed. It wasn't like Cameron to count things out just because they were unlikely. Not wanting to bother Chantal by his smell, he moved out of the room to visit the bathroom. Washing his hands and using the lavatory, he was out and back into the room the two pink souls used as temporary shelter. He closed the door behind him and removed his shirt, as to further avoid any displeasure the female might have by it.

Crawling up behind her, Cameron layed down with his head on the same pillow hers was resting on. His right arm was reached over her midsection, pulling her body slightly closer to his while his left was hugging the pillow under his head. Then, Cameron closed his eyes and rested up. He didn't go back to sleep, rather he was more waiting for Chantal to wake up... Not that he was in any sort of a rush. He probably could have laid around all day, doing nothing with this girl.

Lexi watched everyone bustle around, smiling to herself. Her apartment has never been buzzing with so much life. Quietly she got up and headed to the bathroom intent on freshening up before facing everyone,, and the problems that await them. Contently she slipped under the hot running water and thought about what she'll do. They were on the news, they were wanted. These people had family, or at least most of them did, maybe. They haven't had a chance to get to know each other bar having a having a near death experience together. They were all welcome to stay for as long as they needed but they needed some organization. Assign people to rooms, keep the fridge stocked.. she shook her head, they'll figure this out later.

Stepping out of the shower, Lex wrapped herself up in a towel and slipped out of the bathroom, keen to get into her room and find some clean clothes to get into, praying she wasn't intruding on anyone she edged slowly into her dimlit room.

"Freeze" the man said and she did so. How to get out of it.. hm.. she leaned back, as though ill or fainting, falling backwards. In the last second, she caught herself in a backbend and threw her legs up over her kicking the gun out of the way. A branch absorbed it into its bark and the thing snapped. Turning her attention back to him he hit her in the back of the head with something large and heavy. Dots filled her eyes but she clung to survival instincts to stay up. He was.. holding a large charreed branch. Mistake. The thing came alive and coiled densely around his body.

Ben took that moment to flee. She sprinted all the way back to the apartment with the stolen file and slammed her fist on the door.

Valentina had been relaxing, and feeling in a sort of weird mood after seeing the two pink souls romance, hmm that looks really nice and she sort of wished she had that, she yawn and ate some more bacon. She jumped as the door slam and looked up. "Ben,what happen, are you ok?"

Ben walked in, panting and nodding. She assessed that only minor cuts from contact were made. Besides out of breath, terrified for her life, she was intact.

Ben slid inside without a word or glance and looked and rummaged in her backpack.

James woke up, and sprinted over to the door. "Get inside! I can blind them, then hold them off!" James ran into the clearing where Ben was. "Well, well, well," the SEP smirked. "Look who we have here." James growled and powered up his beams. "You shouldn't have come here!" James roared. He then flashed them, and using his beams, shot them in the chest. It wouldn't kill them, but it would leave a broken bone or two. "Now get out of here unless you want more." They ran, but not before saying, "We know where you are!" James just shook his head and walked back to the apartment.

Chantal had the same dream as the night before but inside of the multiple headed creature, it was her father whom she haven't seen in years who pointed at her., saying: “Death to the sinful.” Sin? Was being who she was, a soul, really wickedness? She never asked to be born if it and now she had to live with it. She awoke then, startled by the mental imagery and found herself crying softly, tears escaping her eyes and trailed down the bridge of her nose on to the pillow.

She sniffed and moved a little, only then realizing an arm wrapped around her and a body pressed slightly close to hers. Cameron, she thought to herself and bypassed the nightmare only to smile faintly, moving back a little more to press further into him; closing any space that was once between them. She rested her hand on his arm that held onto her and rubbed it gently with the tips of her fingers.

Not bothered by the fact that he was shirtless, which she figured he had taken off because he had gotten warm, Chantal peeked over her shoulder, her bright eyes scanned the side profile of his face and then returned back, closing her eyes; sighing deeply.

Lexi heard all the commotion outside her room, she threw on what ever clothes were nearest and skidded into the kitchen, stopping in front of the White soul James that she hadn't had much contact with. "What just happened?!" She tossed her head around looking at everyone waiting for an explanation, not noticing her wet hair splatter anyone near her.

Ben rummaged and pulled out the file, looking at it frantically without paying any mind to her surroundings. Even the SEP unfazing. The picture was upfront. She opened it up to first see all of their personal files. It made her shiver.. they were identified. Next the drawn plans for the new patrols. Evadable patrols.

James frowned. "Ben here was spying on the SEP when they attacked her. Then, I went out, blinded them and gave them a couple broken bones." James shrugged. The power of light was easier to control in the day, and this was no exception. "Ben got our personal files from them." They knew who the souls were now, no use hiding it. Well, that threw a wrench in things.

Lexi turned slowly to face James, "Wait, they know where we are now, don't they?" Lexi's face crumbled. Sure she hated this place, the constant loneliness served as a reminder to everything she lost, but she worked hard to get here. This was her safe place. And... and now, she didn't know what now. She dragged her feet across to Valentina , wordlessly taking some bacon to chew on. She hasn't eaten in what felt like forever.

Ben smiled at hearing what James thought she did. In truth, she was curious dumb and lucky. Then her smile shifted to horror at a single thought.

He knows now.. he must.

Her hands started shaking as she read over and over again. Easily identifiable.. crap. She took a deep breath. Aching in her head masked by adrenaline from the one blow they managed. Said adrenaline had yet to calm. In a strict and calm voice that scared herself she said.

"Yes. Things have changed and we are now high priority so i suggest we get the hell out of here when everyones ready."

She sighs. "Well let me take a shower and you guys have to wake the pinks ok. After the shower I'll help clean up." She gets up and goes to take a shower, happy that she had brought an extra set of clothes.

James spoke up. "Who's got a car? We could also take refuge in a soul shelter... I'm going to head back to my apartment and pack some things, you all should do the same." And with that, he walked to his apartment, and made sure to pack his clothing, his laptop, and a couple other trinkets. Then, he walked back five minutes later. "Did I miss anything?"

Lexi felt trapped in a trance, she couldn't quite get over the fact they had to leave. She munched through the remainder of the bacon before she sighed and went to wake the Pinks in the spare room. She hoped that they were only sleeping, there were some things she didn't want to happen upon. She knocked before entering the spare room.

"Ive got money.. i can shop. But i am not going back. Ill wait for you but im not sure if a soul shelter will take us with our new reputation." Like going to the hospital, going home, she would get found out that easily. She could see her dad seeing the news and waiting inside with a gun.. maybe he would take his time with a knife like her mother and spew familiar profanities. "Ill wait for all of you"

James sighed. "Why don't we all go together? It'll save time, and we'll be more protective. Also, where would we go? Canada, another state, preferably a far away one, or somewhere else?" James didn't really care what happened to his flat. He could just sell it. "On that note, we should train with our powers." When they would come in handy was another time.

(We are trying to get an rp mystic mansion filled. We need more of a certain race before we begin. Its really interesting but i want it to set off. Its not mine. Any takers?)

"Did you guys honestly bring the S.E.P back to us?" Julie asked, looking at them with irritated eyes by the doorway. Woken up from Ben's banging, Julie rushed out to see James do something with light that somehow broke bones, even though Julie was pretty sure it only caused minor burns with what was being emitted. He was concerned for their safety, and it was in the right place to. There was something slamming against the door,"S.E.P, we have you surrounded." It wouldn't be long after that they would break the shabby door down. It was too late to blame anybody now. Julie was well-rested enough, while mostly everyone was in shock, Julie went in front of the door with a small shrapnel of wood in his hand.

The moment the door was busted open, Julie shot an entire tree through the doorway, knocking a couple of men out. Of course some had expected this and waited from the side, although now there's a huge tree stuck in the path. While examining a way to remove the tree to get inside, the tree exploded into a bunch of splinters that knocked most of them out from the repercussion."We have to move, before more comes." Julie said, his stomach grumbling as he gave a fixed face. He didn't eat at all since lunch yesterday. The ones who were still conscious began shooting their guns through the wall. Julie ducked immediately, pulling the nearest person down from him to as bullets narrowly missed their heads.

Valentina heard the commotion from the bath room and almost cried. She was still in a towel and too scared to get dressed and then left behind. She tide the towel tight, not showing anything and left the bathroom. She let out a small non-lethal shockwave, and hopped nobody would ask why she was in a towel.

Undoubtedly, Cameron heard her soft sobbing upon her wake up. Feeling as though there was nothing he could do at the moment other than just be there, the young man didn't say a word. Simply, he just let her be, but kept her close. His eyes opened to the back of her head, and then parted his lips to speak after her sigh. "We really have to go. Being here can't be safe." And with that, he moved from his position behind her, to the floor beside the bed. He put his shirt back on, and his fingers grabbed the doorknob, pulling it open. Noticing that people were preparing to depart, Cameron wondered if any of them were even going to warn the two that they were making their move. With a small huff of air, the irritated young man turned from the doorframe and began walking toward the rest of the group to see if they even had a plan.

Raising both of his hands, he ran his fingers through his hair at the sides. Really, he was just trying to fix any bit that might have been out of shape due to... Well, the nature of sleeping on it. Having longer-lengthed hair wasn't the best thing to deal with at all times of the day, this was just one of those prime examples. Looking between person to person, Cameron removed a cigarette and put it between his lips. Using his teeth to bite down, he began to speak to everyone while his hand fumbled into his pocket for that lighter of his.
"We-"

Boom.

What the actual shit. All of a sudden, there was a damn tree trunk hanging out in the apartment. He bit down roughly onto the filter of his cigarette, lit it and looked out the window. SEP soldiers had just broken into it with a gas grenade, which was now leaking knock-out gas into the apartment. Without proper ventilation, they would all be knocked out in seconds. Cameron, using his telekinesis, lifted the trunk and through it directly through the wall, toward the couple of soldiers who tried entering through a window. Cameron ran out after it, waiting for nobody's lead at all. As his feet kicked up dirt and grass as he moved, he would sent a jump kick into the helmet of a soldier which the tree trunk had narrowly missed previously. Otherwise known as a 'flying knee', Cameron extended his right knee up into the metal while his left applied force to launch him from the ground. The momentum of his kick caused the soldier's helmet to fly off, breaking his nose at an upward angle in the process. When he landed, he heard nothing but gun-fire, so Cameron launched himself off of the ground and into the air, swerving around in an indiscernable pattern before suddenly halting completely, only a minute or two later. Turning and raising his hands behind his head, he faced the soldiers on the ground. His entire body stretched as far back as it could, before Cameron began yelling. A bit of a trademark, coming up, ah?

"I'LL FIGHT YOU ALL MYSELF!"

And with that, he extended both of his hands and began firing telekinetic blasts. Every soldier that was hit, was forced onto the ground with seemingly bone-crushing force. Others were missed. He wasn't a marksman.

Lexi forgot all sense of privacy at the SEP invasion. She burst through the door and shook the Pink souls, luckily in this room she kept her emergency bag back incase of a situation like this. grabbing her bag she ran back into her kitchen seeing it in shambles, bullets were flying, her door was gon-Wait was that Val running around in a towel? Ducking for cover behind her tv Lexi had an idea. "EVERYONE GET OUT OF THE WAY TO THE DOOR!" waiting a second for them to do so, Lexi shot the tv toward the door, when it reached close enough to the SEP she sent a blot towards the tv. "DUCK!" she yelled once more before the tv exploded in the middle of the SEP's.

She got down towel slipping. "Crap!" She gives a bit more juice to the explosion, hopping to knock all those solider out. "Is everybody up and ready?!? Cause we need to bolt now!" She fixes the towel and frowns.
