I am trying to level plains and fix my mistakes, but honestly, and I please don't take it the wrong way, I don't see why or how markings show she has madness. While I get that there is not much info on madness, I'd imagine madness is as it is. It's just madness, a mental trauma. We can negotiate if you really want to keep it. As I mentioned, if they maybe have black blood or a story with a background with that tattoo that has to do with her family. If that is the case, I apologize for misunderstanding.

I mean its fine but like... It shouldnt really matter because its cosmetic, it could evolve. It's been how many years since the original characters, you know what I mean? The markings have no perk, they dont do anything but show her "other side", there's nothing that really helps her in any way. Unless madness mutated (which would make sense due to the large time frame between the original cast to now) and now has physical signsIf you're not on the list you're fine.

Madness doesn’t evolve, because it’s something literally everyone has, at least according to Stein. It’s a force of the world. However there was an occasion of physical expression of madness. This was an attack/ability though.

What if the markings weren't physical then? Since its unique to her, and essentially awakened in her we can get creative. I had a character with markings on his hand that only those with soul perception could see, and that physically appeared when the ability was activated. Plus come on guys madness isn't a mental thing its a soul thing.

So if there was an occasion of a physical expression of madness as an attack why can’t her physical representation/expression be the markings. It’s just something that makes her standout or unique. The markings are just there for cosmetics, not like they do anything.
