I personally as a person have no problems pairing up with anyone.

That comes with a disclaimer, though. I'm going to play my characters the way I created them to be. Specifically with Kyleigha, if she gets a weapon that isn't practical to use in a fight, she's going to be unhappy about it initially, so I'm going to need her paired with someone controlled by a writer who's not going to take that personally if she is going to be paired with an impractical weapon (bear trap on a chain... ring gun...)

Not gonna lie, I kinda wanna see Kyleigha get a weapon partner like that, just to see her get peeved about it :p. From appearing to sound overconfident in her abilities when questioning CJ to getting aweapon that upon first impressions just makes you want to go wtf.

Not really, so long as I get to play and it makes sense that they’d resonate.

Quinn is going to be a morose bastard who needs to learn that being a self-absorbed asshole isn't going to help him get anywhere, so there will be some conflict there no doubt. Like Comet said, it's important to understand that it's not personal. Milo on the other hand is a great dude and you should be sad if you're not paired with him ;(

Addition: The idea behind Quinn is that he's a bloodthirsty bastard. He's not going to complain about any weapon, but he'll find a way to use each and every one of them in melee.
