Okay first off, realistic fantasy ninjas, got it.

Second, are you seriously saying player characters can't be on par with main cast from the manga?

You should really work on your combative tone. The fact is that I've poured hours into this and you've posted a CS and one plot post. Things will require improvement on my end but I'm handling a bunch of things all at once while you nitpick one little aspect.

And yeah, Lee had access to the fifth gate, Neji was a literal Jonin level character as a 13 year old genin who was able to pull off 128 trigrams, when 64 was mind blowing for the HEAD OF THE HYUGAS, Sasuke had Sharingan hacks, could do chidori ffs, Ino could take over people's bodies, Shikamaru was a literal suoergenius with a 200 IQ, one big ass plot point was that they were all too young to enter the chunin exams and ended up dominating people that were in their 20s. Naruto had hashirama stamina and durability with nine tails fox powers, even Shino was a hack with insect control.

Kiba, Sakura, Choji, Hinata, Tenten were all rather fodder, lacking in power and are all weaker than the characters in this cast. Ino is too but her hack is next level.

The goal is to be in the center.

Why? Because character progression. You're all 65 overall out if 100. Idk why everyone is ignoring that huge aspect. The first arch will run for another 4-5 time skips and then boom, mega time skip, you're a jonin, here are 15 points to apply and all your traits slide up one so #1 becomes KAGE level with #5 being MID CHUNIN but yeah I'm just a buzz kill.

Take Zerohex character. After the time skip he can be a GOD LEVEL taijuts user at 60/60 and if I allow say, double #1 traits he then has Kage strength and durability, aka literally Tsunade level. He can literally be might guy with access to gates after one skip but oh yeah I'm just a nerfing bastard.

Uncultured Look, I won't argue with you on whether or not you spent several hours coming up with a stat list, because I have no particular evidence that you did or didn't aside from your either refusal or inability, not gonna speculate on that either, to define basic terms. I have, however, made it amply clear I'd be willing to help you build this into an actual system with legitimate mechanics over PM but you've made blanket refusals to accept said help. Honestly, while I do sympathize with you (the first heartbreaker is always the hardest) I really don't think you're handling this too well, and I'd like you to let me help you, even if it's just a single step.

Personally, I’d find it really hard to accept help from people who are so damn condescending and socially abrasive as to passive-aggressively insult someone’s “inability to define basic terms” and disguise it as offering help. Maybe you should reconsider how you talk to people, you seem to offend others easily from the way you act and honestly I’m getting annoyed just watching as an observer.

We already had one time skip.

After this fight we skip over to the hot springs where the suspects were seen, so on so forth, need to keep momentum. Time skips are just my phrase for going from major scene to major scene so we don't get bogged down in stuff that doesn't advance the plot.

The situation, on its current path, doesn't want to improve itself to begin with. I've been watching it go peaceful, then passive aggressive, then down, then up and then a sprinkle of sarcasm.

What hurts my eyes is that two reasonable outcomes to this whole discussion have already been reached and the bicker still continued.

1. Take it to PM. But then more players wanted to be involved in the discussed topic, which is fine. Its a topic that involves the lot of us, afterall. So then the 2nd reasonable outcome came into play: A poll. You'd think this would be the way everyone could communicate their opinion on the matter and that'd be that.

But nah. The back and forth continued. But not just any back and forth. Useless back and forth. Laced with passive aggression, sarcasm and etc. ( If this doesn't apply to you, then it doesn't apply to you. )

An argument ( The kind conducted by adults, at least ) is designed to allow two ( or more ) conflicting sides to present their opinion with sole purpose of convincing the other side.

I can't see how "Okay first, realistic fantasy ninjas, got it" is a persuasive point along with the other useless back and forth I've read in the past few hours.

Both sides have openly stated their opinions, and positions on the matter of how character traits or stats work. It's done. It's clear as day.

. . Conclusion
At this point in time Shining Wizard , if your intention is indeed to offer help, take as much time as you need to hash out a presentation of how you'd like the stat system to be handled. Let the players read over it for themselves, and lets conduct a poll to see if players prefer the system in place, or yours. Thats as simple as it has to be.

It's both. The typical time skip will cover a span of several hours/a day at max. Who wants to RP the four hour march to the hot spring after this battle? Not this guy lol.

It's nothing so considerable that anything about your character would really change (other than maybe a medical condition or hunger level/tired or not tired etc).

Imo it's just not feasible to have a story that spans an entire country without skipping here and there.

Shining Wizard For future reference, please read this example of how to offer help. It will shave off hours of unecessary back and forth.

Example:

You: "Hunter, could I Pm you about the currrent systems of the RP?"

Hunter: "Sure"

You: Present your problem with how things currently are.

From there, if your vision of how the rp's systems should work conflict with Hunter's ( which they did ) You could take the time to properly list your ideas for exactly how you'd like the RP's system to work.

From there? The players participate in a poll. From there the community as a whole could chime their opinion in on how to fine tune which ever system won the poll. Especially since it affects all of our characters.

One chunin ex ninja is under some strong genjutsu right now but is still alive.

One Genin is under attack by clarinetti idk if that attack is gonna hit or not that up to clarinetti.
