Celena Agrios

Celena looked really confused at this point in time, most likely confused by the statement of her now the new team leader and venerable elder. She stood up from her bow allowing her to stand up fully at full almost 8-foot height. She then asks "Tricked by your looks? Why would anyone be so preoccupied with their outward appearance even though from I've found that every single human tries to mask or hide their true intent? And to answer your question, I don't know how to get to the office to get the files so I just used my feeling that you are older than me."

At that point in time the other members of the team happened to gather and instead of continuing to take the attention of her team leader she decided to analyze and create basic characters of other members of her newly formed team, 2 elves, another vampire and another bestial who possed a question. Celena then said to herself loudly enough for the rest of her team to hear her " If none of us were eliminated that either means that the point of the test wasn't to see who's adequate or it means that all of us are adequate." a question that was answered by the elder's answer to the question.

At that point in time another person in the likes of Baoshir also showed up and he, much like Baoshir, sported the horns of the devilish lamb much to her distress, but in retrospect at this guy didn't look as menacing as Baoshir and nowhere near as terrifying as the lamb.

After that, the elder began introducing herself and giving a basic outline of her skills and origin, "So she was that much older than me? Younger than my teacher but my teacher certainly didn't look like that when she was 160 summers old... Vampires are scary."

"Well then, I'll guess I'll introduce myself next then, My name is Celena Agrios," She said showing off her thick Greek accent and then she continued her introduction. " I am a centaur from the tribe of the Foloi oak forest, I am the daughter of the previous chief, priestess of Artemis and I've been alive for 492 moons... I mean 41 years." She said with a bit of embarrassment in her voice followed by her trying to hide that feeling by continuing her introduction "I can move at great speeds lift a lot and fight relatively well, I also can live in the forest and treat basic wounds."

After finishing that she awaited everybody else's introduction and the plan the elder had in relation to the task they've been given by the trainer.

As the introductions went on, Victavia grew closer and closer to starting up an introduction herself. It was only polite that she do so after others have as well. She looked presentable despite her oil mishap. Zole was nice enough to assist her with cleaning some of it off but not all of it. At least her clothes weren't stained by alcohol drenched, whip wounds. Speaking of those things, she still had them within her hands but it didn't matter, it's not like they held much relevance. In fact, based off of the activity Baosihr mentioned, these items may come in handy.

Victavia steps forth, focusing more on the introduction than her inner thoughts. The vampire bows, speaking as she does so, "It's a pleasure to meet all of you, I am truly grateful to be among your presence. I was given the name Victavia, my house name is Annesworth, representing the family name of my previous master. I am 139 years old, I truthfully pledged myself to my previous master at the physical age of 23. The location I originate from is Cotswolds, England. The skills I bring consist of high physical pain tolerance so I can act as a shield, good memory both photographic and auditory, and lastly I can perform most all tasks and orders handed to me. I take my job seriously and I can handle all household chores, I was born to serve and I am delighted to do so for this team underneath your guidance." Victavia finally rises up and faces Rosalia, only to bow again just for her.

"Victavia, do not ever ask someone to whip you, ever. You're not a servant here, you're an agent. Victavia, you are to never call yourself anything negative every again, do you understand? Nor call anyone Master. I'm Officer Baosihr or Officer Duadoch only. If you must refer to an agent, ask them what they want you to call them first." Victavia had qouted Baosihr out loud to Rosalia to hear, there was something she needed to bring up with her. "These were the previous instructions I've been given from Officer Baosihr. Though now that you are in charge of me, I must ask if you'd like these conditions to stay the same or be changed. If you'd like for me to refer to you as Mistress Liotta, I gladly will. I must know what your conditions are if I am to serve under your leadership." Victavia rises once more, making an effort to avoid eye contact with Rosalia out of respect. "I also must know my feeding schedule and how many times a week I may have your leftovers." Rosalia had been the first vampire she had actually made conversation with besides her master. That being said, Victavia could only assume the feeding treatment would be the same. She would feed two times a week from leftovers, three if she had performed excellently. With a smile rehearsed for countless years, Victavia awaited countless answers.

Calliea grinned as teams were called. She ended up on Rosalia's team. She frowned as one other elf came into the group. She dislikes elves but she knew that she would have to deal with her disgust. Hopefully, he would be apart of that 1% that she would like and get along with. If not, oh well. She noticed as everyone joined the group. There were quite a few people that seem well trained and would be a good member to the group.

Calliea then listened as others introduced themselves. She waited until the last person finished speaking. She then cleared her throat and began speaking "Hello my name is Calliea. I am a woodland elf. I am 60. For where I'm from, I do not have a firm place as I was raised all over. But I was born in the woodland kingdom. " She then tried to think about what is her vital skills. "Well I'm well skilled in bojustu, and my pain tolerance is not of the normal level. Oh and I can go 72 hours without sleep."

She then raised her hand when the trainer gave them the new game. Capture the flag it seemed. She would love to be the flag. "If you don't mind, I would like to volunteer to be the flag. " She was excited and wanted to let loose. She just needed a chance, Or the order to. She had a lot of energy to spend. She was now barely bouncing noticing. Calliea just wanted things to start already.

"Umm, Mara..." Rill said hesitantly. "I don't think that Hjolgram is going to be able to keep up with me. With the use of powers being barred for this exercise, if I can get outside and away from the vampires, the only one who could give me a good run is the centaur. In the last 'exercise' she got excited and exhausted herself quickly, so if I can get outside I might be able to get her to exhaust herself again."

Rill cast a glance over to where the other team was huddled together, no doubt making their own plans. She wasn't certain about the 'no magic' rule applying to the dragonkin still remaining. If she were allowed to fly, that might make things a bit more difficult.

"Officer Duadoch!" Rill called out. "Are you classifying the use of wings as 'magical powers'?"

Lowering her voice, Rill returned her attention to her teammates and team lead.

"If he says no flying, what do you think about trying to bottle them up inside? If I can get some help evading the vampires from Adriel and maybe one more person, I think that Hjolgram could bottle the other team up inside pretty effectively if he can beat them to the door. The centaur will probably get out, but she'll probably wind up being their carrier, unless Baosihr decides flight is allowed, then the dragonkin will most likely carry for them. Either way, it would boil down to flag carrier versus flag carrier on the outside. I'll take one on one odds over having to dodge multiple opponents any day. Just my two cents worth. We'll obviously go with whatever you think best boss."

Faust blinked his eyes in disbelief. Did Victavia just recite what Officer Duadoch said to her word by word? Frankly, he's more than a little jealous of her memory. But more startlingly, the way she addressed Rosalia was similar to how Descourt's slaves used to address him. He had no idea of the connection between master and servants in vampire society, but their relationship seemed to be closer to the relation between master and servant of demons than humans. Not that he particularly cared about it, but seeing something so nostalgic there was surprising.

His thought moved on as one of the two elves introduced herself as Calliea, and immediately volunteered to hold the flag. As much as he wanted to agree as it would put him out of the most tiring part, it wouldn't be wise to choose without knowing everyone's ability.

"Well, I'm not really good at fighting, even if I'm quite agile myself. It wouldn't be too good for Rosalia and Victavia to hold the flag because they can't go outside. So it's between Calliea and Celena? Oh, and..."

Faust hesitated as he turned to the green eyed elf. Had he introduced himself when he wasn't here?

"Apologize, but I don't know your name. It's between the three of you, I think? "

He turned to Rosalia, hoping for correction or confirmation.

Baosihr watched with amused eyes as Mara approached and snatched the blue flag, quickly deciding who was going to be the flag carrier of their group. This was Mara's chance to prove herself to her assigned team, if she failed here and her team was wholly against her being their leader, there wasn't much else he could do for her. She needed to take charge and surprise them. Everyone here pretty much knew Mara due to his constant games in making her deal with her limitations, she had to change those minds herself.

Someone from the Administration office rushed into the gym causing Baosihr to swear under his breath. If this was about the damn door again he was going to walk his ass over there and find someone to tell Tai to shove it. Instead, he was given a slip of paper and the guy who delivered it stood patiently as he waited for him to read it. Baosihr read over the document and sighed before shoving it back at the person who brought it, "Zolona, you're being pulled from evaluation. Follow the minion." He pointed to the messenger as he said the word minion and Zolona, looking confused, left to follow him.

"Team Alpha, you're down one member, but I'm sure that shouldn't affect you so greatly. Celena could count as two member," he laughed.

The elf from Team Bravo raised her voice to ask him a question regarding if wings were considered magic. "No magic, no wings, no transformations," he answered, "Time is wasting away here agents, Team Alpha, who is going to be your flag carrier?"

Tarrin was so focused in on his group that he was slightly startled when Zole appeared behind him. She seemed as happy about the arrangement as the rest of them, though the team would have to learn to work past their differences, he figured. Next to join them was Faust, their newest demon judging by the horns... Tarrin nodded a polite hello while Rosalia welcomed him, answering his question - he had, in fact, missed quite a bit.

The vampire seemed to jump right into her leadership boots, grabbing the team's attention from the get go. Tarrin gave a quiet sigh of joy when she mentioned the unlikelihood of combat training, before she formally introduced herself. The others began to follow suit.

Tarrin found everyone to be much more fascinating than himself - foreign lands, unique skills, unusual backgrounds.... He gave Victavia a quick glance. Unusual woman, but he was sure she would prove useful given she was standing in this room with the rest of them.

All of a sudden their niceties were cut short as Baosihr entered, giving the group their next task - capture the flag. Now this was a game he could get on board with. And luckily Team Alpha already had a volunteer in the form of Calliea.

It was then Tarrin was made aware by Faust that he had yet to introduce himself. With Baosihr distracted by a visitor, pulling Zole from training, Tarrin took the opportunity to make his own introduction. "Apologies and pleasure to meet you all. I am Tarrin Selanlar, 30 years of age and I was raised in a small village on the outskirts of the Simpson Desert, Australia. As for my skills, though I dislike confrontation, I am rather adept at close combat as it compliments my speed. I also have... Rather good hearing."

Now pushed for a name to bear the flag, Tarrin nodded at Faust. "It would seem you are correct, however, I would be happy for Calliea to have the honor, if she so wishes." He gave the team a small smile, waiting to see who Rosalia would choose.

@Team Alpha

"Victavia." Rose said sternly to her fellow vampire. For a brief moment she slipped her red tinted round glasses up, to look Victavia in the eyes. There was a lot she didn't understand a lot about this odd vampire: From her servile attitude to the strange metal arm that she was equipped with, Rosalia had never really met a vampire like this in all her years. For a brief moment or two she looked Victavia in the eyes, examining what she could. Those eyes....her expression. Everything about this vampire was very mysterious. Was she a slave?

"Listen to me very carefully. You are a vampire. I am a vampire. We are slaves to no one. The both of us were blessed with the kiss of the eternal night, so that we could live on while others perish. Many of our gifts are the envy of other races. Under no circumstances do I want to hear you refer to anyone as your master, or mistress for that matter. Sir and Ma'am are fine, but that's only because the job calls for it. You're here on your own free will."

With that being said, Rose slipped her sunglasses back on and turned to face the group.

The was chatter among the group from their officer's announcement. Capture the flag the game was, and there would even be some combat. Rose frowned slightly when she heard about the combat. She didn't plan on having to have any physical altercations this morning. While Rose was not afraid to get up close and personal, she was not specialized in it like some in this gymnasium may be. Instead she preferred to handle violence with either gadgets or firearms, if need be. Her weapon of choice: Beretta M9, one of the finest handguns in the world.

More rules of the game were mentioned, only complicating matters. The game can leave the gymnasium? Not surprisingly Rosalia did not fancy this rule. It was morning, and the sun was still out. Rose could go outside, but she'd have to stick to the shadows or use her umbrella. Vivictia was probably under these circumstances to.

Right now, after looking over her team members carefully for the tasks of capture the flag, one team member stuck out specifically: Celena. Big, fast, and strong. Would be hard to get the flag from her....but does she even know the rules of the game? It was hard for Rose to take the thought of giving a bestial a flag seriously. From what Celena had shown her so far, she was very inexperienced to how things worked in the modern world. A sad stereotype.

Before she could give it anymore thought, Calliea quickly volunteered to be flag bearer. That was much better, people who volunteer for positions like this generally tend to do better at them as they've given it at least some thought. "If you want the flag Calliea, it's yours. Guard it well."

"Alright everyone, get close. I want to discuss the plan."

Waiting for everyone to get close, she then continued.

"This is probably Mara's first time ever leading a group. I want to take advantage of that. We're going to put as much pressure as we can on her, so she'll make mistakes in commanding and give us the advantage. Those of you pursuing the flag, I want you to be very aggressive. Push the pace, don't give them time to think."

An idea of sorts then came into her head, thanks to Faust's subtle hint. She once again looked at the big, broad stature of Celena. That would be the perfect platform to ride on...

"Celena, Calliea. Would you two like to work together? Celena, I want you to let Calliea ride on your back. Would you be fine with this?"

While waiting for an answer, Rose shifted her focus on Victavia. "Victavia, do you see our flag over there? The elf Calliea is going to be holding it, hopefully on the back of Celena. I want you to help guard that flag, do not let the other team get their hands on it so long as they are in this gymnasium. If for some reason Celena and Calliea end up outside the gym, I don't want you to follow. Instead I want you to move your attention to the enemy flag, and capture it. Don't let them leave this gymnasium. If for some reason both flags are outside...guard the door, unless I tell you otherwise. Does that make sense?"

"Faust, if you're as fast as you say you are I want you attacking the flag at my side. Primarily I want you to use your agility to cut off the gymnasium and make sure there's not much space for them to flee, and capturing the flag when the opportunity presents itself. Myself, I'll act more like a cattle driver, putting them on their feet so they don't have time to act."

Finally she addressed Tarrin. "You're very light on your feet as well, good at fighting, and hearing. I need you to be our seeker of sorts, the man who's soul purpose is getting his hands on the flag. Just go after them right away. Be tricky if you want or need to. Just get that flag"

"If any of you have any objections (Or if I forgot anyone) let me know. This seems a bit messy, but as long as we stick to our roles I think this should work out. If the need dictates it we can also make adjustments."

Celena was listening intently to the introductions of the other members of the team and of course, she made mental notes of all of the ones who did. Victavia the female who looked and acted like one of those machines in the facility that would record book and read it to her, though Celena still felt like she could sense some sort of emotion and personality under there. Nonetheless moving on there was the demon, the kin of Typhon going by the name of Zole and 2 elves, something that Celena wasn't wishing for but at least they were forest ones.

At that point, the elder suggested that the elf going by Calliea, the seemingly better one, should ride upon her and they should defend the flag. Celena trotted in front of the elf and crossed her hands while eyeing her from top to bottom, towering over the 5'7 girl by 2 foot and a bit. After seemingly careful analyzation of the girl Celena without asking picked up the relatively light girl and then after holding her in her hands for a few seconds said; "You are pretty light, and you don't smell like usual ξωτικό." she then placed her on her back and then turned towards Rosalia. "I am fine with this one γεροντότερος."

Then as she waited for the response of her team she spotted the other team and specifically Hjolgram, she smirked at the prospect of having to fight the dwarf from the movies her society teacher made her watch in order to accommodate to modern world dwarfs were pretty strong. She breathed out a gasp of hot air out of her nose in anticipation and then saluted him and proceeded to wait for her team.

Baosihr adjusted his stance as he waited impatiently for the other group to send someone to come get the flag. He walked over to Team Alpha, red flag in hand and a firm expression. "Time's up," he said, shoving the flag into Rosa's hand. He moved back to his previous position, glancing at each group. "Ready or not, this game is about to start. I will allow you five minutes to choose a starting point. Once that time is done, you'll hear an alarm sound to initiate the game. After that, your goal is to get the flag of the opposing team. And just because I have a feeling someone might try to cheat, here's a new rule, should any person go out of bounds of the field, they are removed from the game. It's a quick way to lose a team member who isn't paying attention. Also, your goal is to get the flag, not to pummel each other, or trample them." He said the word trample, giving the Centaur a stern look, she needed to be more aware of others and objects.

"By the way Celena, after the evaluation, you get to enjoy doing laps around the campus until I get tired." He wasn't going to run her into the ground with this punishment for the doors, but hopefully tired her out to the point that she remembers to not smash up SMITED property. These were games, in the field whatever she damaged was going to result in hefty bills being sent to the agency if she wasn't cautious. She could trample enemies as needed, he only hoped Rosalia would ensure her team member wouldn't needlessly destroy things. If she did, it wouldn't be just the Centaur having to run laps.

So it was uncommon for vampires to have slaves.

He had always been taught that vampires are a race with a strong sense of pride, not unlike the nobility of the demons. For a moment, he felt a glimpse of sympathy for Victavia. What could have led her to be like that? His thought was once again diverted as Officer Duadoch shoved a red flag toward Rosalia and began to explain how they would start. Even as Officer Duadoch glared at Celena who apparently was the one to broke the door, Faust mind had gone wandering on the new set of rules.

Five minutes was plenty of time to move to their starting point. From the border of the game, it wasn't completely impossible for Team Bravo to pick their starting point outside, which would be a huge disadvantage for them. Their choice of attackers would be limited from Victavia and Rosalia, who couldn't step out of the doors without a handicap.

...doors?

Something spurred in his mind about the doors. How could he use them? Doors. Celena would be punished because she broke one of them. The gateway between the gymnasium and outside. The border that limits their offence power and their defence range. No, he should not be focused only on the disadvantages. Faust bit his thumb as his brow furrowed and created a frown, showing that he was in deep thought.

Doors...gateway... border... choke point?

Something clicked in his mind.

Faust turned to Rosalia. His eyes were brimming with mischief. It was rare for him to show such emotions in front of people he hadn't know very well, but his excitement overcame his awkwardness. "Rosalia," he began with a smile filled with joy and ingenuity.

"Why don't we start at the doors?"

Janus
"God of Doorways"

4ccb118961f0a104fa6fe31015086cae.jpg

Acknowledging Mara's instructions with a simple nod, Janus turned on his heel and strode away from the group. Mara would likely go through with starting outside, so he would have to position himself accordingly. It was highly possible that the enemy team would have the same set up as them; two on defence, two on attack, the rest with the flag or otherwise. If that was indeed the case, then Janus could only reason that the best possible location he could place himself was to...

"...start at the doors?"

He briefly overhead the suggestion as he was walking past the group and he closed his eyes in self-confirmation. That was the obvious choice for their team as well. If they couldn't stop Mara's team from escaping outside, supposing they started inside, they'd have to force the attackers into a choke point and deal with them first. Reaching the doors himself, Janus leaned against the wall directly next to the partially broken door, arms folded as he waiting for the game's official start. Dealing with any attackers and capturing them first before launching your own counteroffensive was an effective way of reducing enemy numbers without risking too much. But of course, it wasn't Janus' job to tell the team what to do, nor was he really accustomed to putting forth ideas unprompted. If asked, then sure, but for now he was content with letting the rest of the team decide what happened. His role was as simple as could he in this case.

Janus hoped his other attacker-friend would join him at the door so that they could coordinate their assault. Such was custom when participating in a joint-operation, and it was at times like those that Janus had no qualms with taking part in planning. The centaur was by far the largest concern. Then the vampires. A large beast that could mobilise faster than any others present and was stronger than most would prove difficult to deal with should she have the flag. The vampires were old and likely experienced, plus they were likely physically enhanced as well. Janus would have to rely on all his skills, his own experience and his talent for agility to overcome these challenges. His sword was still strapped to his back, having remained there all this time. Officer Duadoach said not to go overboard, so Janus wouldn't kill anyone, but he had also made no promises as to the extent in which he would treat the others short of death or serious injury. It all depended on how difficult the task became.

Calliea smiled as she got the job of flag carrier then the greatest thing happened. Rosalia suggested that she worked with Celena, the bestial as to ride on her back. She was smiling so largely that she was afraid her face was going to break in too. She then nodded quickly to Rosalia as in approvement to this plan. She is gonna have so much fun with this training exercise. Then she turned around and jumped when Celena was in front of her. Looking at her carefully.

Calliea then was picked up and she was frozen. As she has never been picked up before by anyone other than her father. "Umm thanks?" She said when she compliant her for smelling not like other elves and for being light. She then was placed on her back. Calliea after shaking outta of her shock then placed her hands on Celena's waist. She then looked at her and asked "Is this ok? Oh and please ask me before you pick me up. It scared me a bit. " She had placed her bo, on her back as there was a carrier on there that she uses when she needs to travel with her bo. As she grew more and more comfortable. The trainer called out.

She then laughed when he looked at Celena, angry at her for trampling the door. Calliea thought she was fantastic but it seemed that it wasn't approved of. Of course, it wasn't, as the trainer yelled out when she trampled the door. It cost money and money was something everyone kept and stole for themselves. She whispers to Celena softly "I like it when you trample things and people. Makes this place seem a bit more lively than normal." Calliea grinned, she was trying to make a friend. Something she hasn't been able to do easily. Some think she was too much boyish and some think that she was too much trouble. She never had a real friend in her life. Calliea had always wished she had.

Before she could speak, the fire elememtal was pulled. Wonderful. They were down a player but maybe going outside would fix that problem.

“Alright.” She said eventually. “Hjolgram, go with them getting the flag, I’ll be joining you in defense.” While her voice was firm, Mara was still trying to fight back a torrent of doubts and concerns. Tarrin froze when Rosalia addressed him. She wanted him.... To retrieve the flag? He supposed it only made sense. He was the only one agile enough left over to pull it off - the others had their own tasks to take care of. The Elf simply nodded, giving her a short "understood."

He jumped slightly when Faust burst with excitement. Tarrin wasn't sure where he was going with the door idea, but he guessed it wasn't his concern, not yet. Tarrin had to keep an eye on whomever was carrying the opposing flag, which seemed to be their Elf. Well, at least he knew he'd be able to keep up, though he was very aware that Woodland Elves, as with all Elves, had their own way of moving around, each were accustomed to very different home climates, after all.

Nevertheless, Tarrin would simply have to do his best. With the five minute warning now in place, he waited to see if Rosalia had any further instructions for her team. He knew he was assigned to charge from the get go, so his own positioning mattered very little - he aimed to charge as soon as allowed - but he wouldn't mind knowing where his team mates would be.

Victavia made sure to listen carefully, to absorb every word Rosalia had to offer. The words were different but Rosalia slightly said the same things Baosihr had said. Rosalia had told her to refer to people as Sir and Ma'am while Baosihr told her to refer to others as they wished or agent. "Under no circumstances do I want to hear you refer to anyone as your master, or mistress for that matter." Victavia began dissecting this within her mind, eventually deciding that this meant she would have to call others master or mistress whenever Rosalia couldn't hear. This was absolutely confusing to Victavia since Rosalia and all those higher ranking than her would be called master or mistress. This seemed to be confusing because of another order from Rosalia, "Sir and Ma'am are fine, but that's only because the job calls for it." The last part in which the job calls Victavia, she didn't know a job had a voice. Maybe the job only called Rosalia and she was simply passing on the message. This meant she would have to prioritize Sir and Ma'am since a higher power calls for it. Victavia was slightly curious on who the job is, how they became a living concept, and how they make calls from afar if they use a voice now. She would have to go job searching later, for now she had work to do.

"The both of us were blessed with the kiss of the eternal night, so that we could live on while others perish." This seemed like a long job but the task of having others die around her shouldn't be that difficult. All she'd have to do is neglect helping others unless ordered to and watch them die. If things go her way within this gym, she could outlive a dying enemy today and please Madam Rosalia. Once Rosalia questioned Victavia on whether or not she saw the enemy flag, Victavia shook herself out of her inner thoughts. "Yes, I see the enemy flag and I have memorized it entirely. Yes, your orders make complete sense to me, Madam Rosalia. I am to make sure they don't get their hands on the flag. That being said, I will go cut their hands off right now. It won't count as pummeling or trampling them as Sir Baosihr has said are against the rules. If I make it one quick cut per person, it should be within rules and we'd automatically win since they cannot get a hand on the flag. I'll ask for them to give us their flag after I remove their hands as well so we'll win through flag capture too."

Victavia turns to her other team members and bows to respectfully ask for their attention. "I regret bothering you and taking up your precious time but I must ask. Do any of have a knife on your person so I may carry out my job?"

Celena was really excited and clearly ecstatic from her tail waggling around, the clear reason for her excitement as most people would be able to deduce would be the fact that she gets to fight people, there is a rule against trampling people but Celena isn't about to dishonor her opponents in that way. Sadly, her excitement was rudely interrupted by the horned instructor announcing her about her punishment.
"What do you mean until you get tired? Do horned ones get tired from just living, that must be annoying. Well, at least I get to run around a lot!"

At that point in time, she could hear Calliea on her back giggling about her being scolded, which at first confused Celena a bit at first but then that feeling was quickly dispelled by her whispering. "Oh, you like it when I break stuff? I also like when I break stuff it makes it easier to move around... wait I have a page in my guide to society about this situation" as she picks out her notebook from one of her front pockets and starts rummaging through the page if Calliea could see she would see ancient Greek runes written on it.
"Ah found it! It says here that when two people have something that they enjoy together they become friands... friens? friends.. friends. Yea friends, does that mean we became friends? My teacher said that friends do stuff together, so like battle brothers! Great!" Her excitement clearly risen by her newly declared friend.

At that point in time Victavia, another person rejected by Thanatos like the elder asked for a knife in order to remove the hands of the opponents. Celena clearly ticked off by this trots in front of the girl and as she looks like about she is to scold she kneels to be on the same level and put her hand on her asking her;
"Why would you do that, this is an honorable competition, you don't unnecessarily maim your opponent to gain an upper hand we will win fairly and squarely and you cutting their arms would result with us having a boring fight!" Something Celena was clearly not going to let happen so she picked up Victavia against her will and also placed her on her back next to Calliea. "You have to make the other team keep their hands off the flag bearer but making them bleed is unhonorable, Σαφή?"

She then turns back to Rosalia and says; "Sorry for being brash elder but this one," while gesturing to Victavia" can't fight honorably and letting her ride on my back with the flag bearer would allow her to keep a better watch, and considering the fact that the other team clearly wants to take the outside and we have the two vampires on our team, taking control of the gym and fortifying it may be a good idea."

"Come on Mara," Rill whispered to the mermaid. "You can do this. Watch the other teams moves, then counter them with the best suited people. Get the dwarf to the door with Janus. After that, we adapt while I show them just how long I can run."

Rill took the flag and wrapped it around her upper arm, then tied it loosely. A good yank could remove it, but someone would have to be right on top of her to grab it. As she began to jog to the door, she glanced back at Adriel.

"Don't take too long getting that flag blondie. The longer I have to run the less likely I'll be to want to reminisce over drinks later."

On their first mission together, she had learned that the nephilim was a terrible flirt, but meant well in the end. Rill had slowly warmed to the woman, and now thought nothing of sparring verbally with her. She clapped the dwarf on the back as she jogged past him, then paused beside Janus where he stood beside the doors.

"I'll try and lure anyone chasing me by you," she whispered to the mage. "I'm certain you can trip them up, except for the centaur maybe. Then again, who knows? You strike me as the resourceful type."

Rill moved out into the sunlight about fifteen feet beyond the broken door and began to limber up as she waited for the signal to begin. A plan was forming in the back of her mind, and she grinned evilly. This was going to be, interesting.

"Alright, time's up," Baosihr announced, "Get to your starting positions quickly because I'm not delaying this game any longer. If you don't have a plan, too bad. Remember the rules and as much as some of you might take this seriously, it's a bloody game! Have some fun, you can get serious on field missions!" He clapped his hands together eagerly with a devious grin, "Too bad they wouldn't let me set up traps this year, would've made things more interesting. Eh well."

His attention was drawn to fire elemental Sol, who for a while now had just been standing off to the side. He shook his head angrily, "Indiges! You're out. If you're going to just sulk in a corner over this, you can go sulk at a desk. Report to the admin building. If you didn't want to be in this year's eval, then you don't request to be a field agent." Sol looked a bit shocked, her bodily flame burning a bit brighter in irritation at being removed from the evaluation. Baosihr gave her a stern glare and then simply pointed at the door. Sol crossed her arms over her chest and made her way out of the gym, most likely sentenced to tend to matters that a fire elemental was useful for.

Laura's conversation with Sol was cut short as Duadoch abruptly started lecturing the fire elemental, relegating her to some sort of office job that Laura would dread having to do herself.
Sitting at a desk and having one's mind left vulnerable for man-eating ancient native american spirit wasn't really something she wanted to be forced to do, even if it meant staying safe from the dangers of active duty.

The Wendigo in her head on the other hand rejoiced, an unpleasant chill creeping along her spine as the creature's influence seeped into her bones, making her faint smile be turned upside down into a frown.
Her dark eyes wandering over to the training officer as her hands came to rest snugly in her jean's pockets.

"I'm terribly sorry Sir, I haven't really made the best of impressions, have I?" Laura mumbled, lowering her gaze as she scratched the back of her leg with her heavy boots.

Adriel listened to the team as to they made their plans. All in all, they had some decent teamwork and strategy making. All of them seemed to care about the “mission” which was really a game. Adriel had to admit they were certainly taking it more seriously than she was. As far as she was concerned, this was just a fun way to get paid playing games.

It did, however, give her a good opportunity to see the rest of the team in action. Although Adriel had much more experience than any of the other agents, it wasn’t her place to butt in with how she would do things. They had to learn and make mistakes the same way she did. Otherwise, they would never become better agents. In real missions, her goal was simple: make sure everyone makes to the mission and back alive and keep them healthy. Objectives be damned.

Saundering over to the starting position, Adriel couldn’t help but laugh at Ril’s comment about capturing the flag. Had the elf really forgotten which side she was on already? “I’m going to be protecting your ass. After all, that’s what a good medic does. Or has it been that long that you’ve already forgotten?”

She stretched her muscles as she prepared for the physical activity to come. The other team certainly had an advantage, but Janus and the dwarf on offense were a wildcard. If they worked effectively together, this could be a very short game and easy win for Team Bravo.

Janus, though, Adriel worried about. He had a serious look to his face like he was going to go all out, and some of the other team members and people on Team Alpha did too. Adriel thought it was perhaps worthwhile to issue a general warning to everyone. “Reminder this is a training exercise, nothing more! I do not want to see anyone nursing an injury after this game! Lord knows we’ve already had enough injuries for one session,” she yelled to both teams. Adriel was, of course, referring to the accident that had already sent one agent to the medical room. Hopefully, that reminder would help take the edge off of people just a little bit when it came to this about to start game.

"Are you seriously telling me you can't do both? " Rill asked as Adriel made her way over to her. "And on a more relevant note, how goods your endurance? I plan to stretch this out, unless they get lucky and swarm me under."

Adriel seemed to have other things on her mind however, as she shouted out to both teams.

“Reminder this is a training exercise, nothing more! I do not want to see anyone nursing an injury after this game! Lord knows we’ve already had enough injuries for one session.”

Rill couldn't fault Adriel for her concerns. Some of the agents here seemed bit, on edge, to her. And others, well the shattered door was evidence that the centaur didn't fully have control when she got excited. Looking around, Rill looked for things she could take advantage of, buildings to duck around, open areas to build up speed, places where she could maybe stack the odds in her favor. Nodding to herself, she began to plan out her route. Make the others follow her, set the pace.

"At least I hope I can," she murmured to herself as the time ticked down towards the start of the 'game'.

The woman wasn’t known for having much patience to begin with, but what little she did have was more than tested. Specifically by Adriel who, based on her comment about Baosihr earlier, thought this was more of a high school gym class than training for SMITED agents. The personality that wafted off of the combat medic screamed ‘I’m important’ and after working at a desk for 8 years where very few people batted an eye towards her, she took this kind of personal.

After Rill spoke to her, Mara would’ve made her way over to the starting position after Adriel made her little announcement before looking the woman in the eye and sternly commanding “Adriel. You are to do as I say no matter how difficult that may be for someone as high and mighty as yourself. Is that clear?” Her violet gaze bore into the blonde, mentally adding ‘So take the ego stick out of your ass before I beat you with it.’ to her statement.

It didn’t take much effort to tell the woman was stressed and under a great deal of pressure, but that didn’t mean she was going to be open to taking shit. Hardly. If this was her last shot at going into the field, she was going to make damn sure it went the way she wanted it.

Adriel grinned from ear to ear at Ril’s comment. Had she forgotten that time the earth elemental chased them through the forest in ‘92? Damn thing had been tearing everything up, and the team had to evacuate running for their lives out of the forest to their plane.

Before Adriel had a chance to reply to Ril, Mara decided to let off some steam. Adriel was disappointed in Mara’s actions, to say the least. In a way, she wasn’t surprised. Adriel was an obvious target for Mara’s frustration for the past eight years: an experienced agent with far more than triple of Mara’s lifetime of combat medic experience. It was a likely insecurity for Mara, a feeling of inferiority, and a need to prove herself as the top dog to the team.

Still, Mara was sorely mistaken. Adriel hadn’t added in any comments to the tactics or plans of the team. She had intentionally done so to remove any possible impression that she was trying to exert leadership or authority over the team. It was the same way that Baosihr worked Mara’s ass off every year so no one could say she didn’t earn her position if she ever did, yet Baosihr still faced the full scorn of Mara year in and year out.

While Adriel had just had shit flung at her for no reason, she was a professional. Whatever phantoms Mara was imagining was just that: phantoms. There was no reason for Adriel to escalate. Going to attention and giving the woman a full salute which she continued to hold until the salute was returned, Adriel stated: “You are the team leader, ma’am. I wouldn’t do anything less.” There was a seriousness to her voice that indicated this was how she felt to the core.

Anyone who had done any operation with Adriel would know she was as by-the-books as they come. Ril, Janus, and the others who had already been field agents before knew this, and they would, Adriel thought, likely murmur or think about Mara’s terribly off-base comment. Mara only made herself look insecure and have a lack of people skills. She was new at this, so perhaps it was just early jitters. Still, it did not bode well to Adriel.

Eager? No no. Excited? Eh, sorta - but not really.

Usof contemplated on how he felt in regards to getting accepted into this year's field evaluation test as he sprinted half-assedly across the hallways, making turns unconsciously as he had fully memorised the map of the entire place by then. It definitely wasn't his first year in the facility, but he hadn't been there for long either. He had worked with quite the roster of people - mostly eccentric scientists, given most of his time there was spent in Research & Development. He wasn't a lab director or anything like that, mind you. A mere lab assistant is all he was. He would occasionally help out the intern scientists with Mathematical equations, calculations and the sort, help handle radioactive substances and run errands like grabbing coffee, but that's about it, really. He was arguably thrown into the organisation as a potential field-agent, but his gifted mind and apparent forte in lab-work was what caught SMITED's attention most. They had planned to test him out on the field, but there was already a list of potential field agents before him, so he had to wait.

Nevertheless, his little train of thoughts came to an abrupt and apparently unpleasant halt as he ran into the sliding door of the gym. A loud squeaking screech echoed throughout the halls and gym itself, which was soon followed by the thudding of Usof's body as it rolled several feet from the entrance and towards the training officer standing near the centre of the room. He quickly jolted back onto his feet, and almost unconsciously scanned his surroundings before continuing to stare blankly at the ceiling, almost talking to himself.

Fuck me, why'd I agree to play a goddamn drinking game the night before eval - fuck you Matt. Shite, it's the gym, alright... I think... Eh - so many people - I'm probably late, aren't I? Big bloody surprise, who would've fucken thought. Then again, better late than never, I suppose.

'Probably' still a tee bit hungover, Usof then tried his best to hide how intoxicated he was and attempted to construct fluent sentences to the best of his ability as he struggled to maintain a respectable posture, which may or may not have been in vain - given he for some reason saluted the training officer ere slurring out a nigh-incomprehensible soliloquy of some sort.

"Aye aye, captain - Usof Phillipe reporting for du- I mean training, yeah. Is this training? This is training, no? Never mind that - it obviously is. Uhm... I swear I'll be much more presentable on the field. I mean, not that there's anything.. y'know.. particularly wrong with me this very moment - it's just.. y'know.. err... A bloody headache is all - maybe a tee bit tipsy but I'll be in tip top shape whenever there's.. action - I promise ye. Oh, uh.. where do I go..?"
