"Hey, how about this one?" Ryutaro asked, taking a good look at a particular quest; the wind-powered city of Fuucho is having problems with their windmills and are need of repairs. They have contacted a repairman in Altissia and all he needs is a group of adventurers to escort him. Be aware that there have been incidents on a certain area in the way that has been reported about transport being missing.​

“Huh....funny,I thought they'd contact someone from Lestallum instead given they have workers who are pretty well-versed in mechanical designs. Oh well,sure. I'm curious to see what was it that caused the transports to be missing myself.”

"Sure thing." Ryutaro said as he takes the request off the board. "And since we are going to ride in an airship, then we can go for....this one." He looks at the quest in question; there is a report about a "goblin hideout" somewhere in the mountain ranges near the village of Hondor. Investigation and extermination is needed.​

“Ah of course....Goblins. Oh well,best wipe them our before one of them escapes and plots it's revenge.”

Cheng snarked,indirectly saying "sure,let's take the quest.".

"Alright..." Ryutaro said, but as he is going take it, another hand suddenly grasps it. "Hey, what the-?!" He was surprised. He turns to his side and saw another adventurer having taken hold of the quest. "Sorry, but I'll be the one to take on this." She said, agitating Ryutaro. "And who the hell do you think you are?" He asked with a furious look on his face. "That is not my concern. If you would have been quick enough to get it, then you can take on about four quests in one day." She answered in a blunt manner. "Do you want to fight about it? Cause we've seen it first." Ryutaro challenged the adventurer, but she shook her head. "Geez, meatheads like you should learn to think logically rather than resting everything on a gambit." She said.​

“What's going on there!?”

One of the guards in the guild center spoke,alerting both Ryutaro and the other adventurer.

"Oh great, now you got us all in trouble." Ryutaro is freaking out at this point. "Hmph, that I would care less. All that I'm just saying is, I got it first, so you might as well have to take another one. I'm sure it will be similar." The adventurer said.​

“Sorry,that was one of my friends.”

Xenon quickly stepped in before the guard could question any further.

“I'm sure they were not trying to start a scene here.”

“I see. I'll take your word for it. Although it would be very much appreciated if the two of them could settle the issue peacefully without having to badmouth each other.”

"Looks like your friend has covered your ass. Good for you." The adventurer said. Ryutaro really doesn't have this. He feels like he could swing his pistol-nunchucks at her pretty face.​

“I don't know who you are,but if you're gonna continue getting on my friend's nerves then you'll have to deal with me.”

Xenon warned. A duel (not to the death obviously) being adventurers is permitted as long as both parties agree to partake in one,thus he had one in mind should she still continue to persist so that a deal could be made that she would leave the group alone.

"So you have decided to take your friend's place to settle it all in a duel. Fine, I accept your challenge." The adventurer said.​

She seriously doesn't want to stop annoying Ryutaro? Some adventurer...

It'd be wise to keep a good look at her fighting style however.

“Let's get it over with. My party and I don't have anymore time to waste.”

In the middle of the Adventurer c
Colosseum,a pair of fighters could be seen parrying each other's blades while trying to strike the other opponent down to end the match. Xenon,with the Jäger on hand (using the Artic Rose would be overkill),kept attempting pull a checkmate against the other adventurer's swift speed.

Not gonna lie...she is fast.

“How exactly did it come to this now....?”

Cheng muttered under his breath while Ruri looked on worryingly. There are several adventurers (including the group themselves) who had come to be the audience of the duel,not wanting to miss out on being the witness to the fight against two Silver Ranked Adventurers.

"I do got to say, this guy is good. The way he handles his blade may need some improvements." The adventurer thought to herself. The weapons she wields are a chain binded rounded shield with blades that spins around and a (wind) element core, and a spear with a grappling hook function. This is going to be one tough fight.

She gets away from Xenon and then throws her shield at him, holding the chain attached to it so she can swing it around.​

In response,the Jäger took the form of a shield and knocked the bladed round shield back. The pointy end of the Jäger's Shield Form soon pinned the shield down onto the ground before Xenon proceeded to break the chain connecting his opponent's shield.

Just when Xenon was going to break the chain, the adventurer quickly reels the shield back to her, bringing him. She aims her spear, hoping that by the time she got her shield back, Xenon will get stabbed, but not too fatal.​

In response,the Jäger turned into sword as Xenon ripped it off the ground,pushing the spear away from his shoulder before letting the blade slide on the handle as the Jäger wielder rushed dashed towards the adventurer.

He had not forgotten about the shield either,as he quickly slid under and pass her before she should attempt a shield bash. He soon stood brought the blade of his sword a few centimetres away from the side of her neck.

“I'm done with this.”

"...Hmph. So be it." The adventurer said, accepting her defeat.​

The Jäger soon dissipated into the air as Xenon turned around.

“You can take the quest for all I care. Just don't go insulting others like you did with my friend earlier.”

Xenon spoke,before adding one last few words before walking off.

“You're pretty good yourself.”

"Wait!" The adventurer called "Would you mind telling me your name? It for just for reference."​

Xenon looked at her with a slightly puzzled expression. Originally wanting to ask "Why do you want to know?",he quickly removed the thought and instead answered.

“Xenon.”

 

[Topless]

"Xenon? Well then, I'll have to admit you did good. However, you need to work more on your swings. I can see a little bit of rust left, but with enough practice, you will go from decent to great. As for me..." The adventurer went close to Xenon as she speaks out her name.

"My name is Michelle...Michelle Valtimor."​

The last part had Xenon stop dead in the middle of his tracks. He was not expecting to "that".

“"Valtimor"...?”

He quickly turned to look at the other adventurer that was his opponent,one clearly sort out question in his mind that he wanted to let out.

“Do you know a woman who goes by the name "Rachelle Valtimor"!?”

Michelle, even though Xenon mentioned Rachelle, was not much surprised. "Well of course." She answered "In fact, I'm her sister. Got any problem with that?"​
