"Hey Xenon, don't you think that woman is a...you know...?" Ryutaro muttered quietly. On the other hand, the woman heard Ruri yawning. She turns to her side and spots her. She goes over and ask "Hello there young one. Are you lost? Would you like to share a bath with me? Don't worry, I do not intend to harm you anyway."​

“Um....” Ruri thought for a moment before nodding in acceptance, “Okay.”

“Who knows,we'll have to hear for ourselves if Ruri manages to ask he about the runes and her ability to keep beasts within her. If this is how an Eidolon's power works then...”

"Okay, would you mind undress? Don't worry, it's just only the two of us here." The woman asked. At this point, Ryutaro is starting to feel very uncomfortable.​

At this point,so was Xenon and Cheng. The former of whom had closed his eyes hastily and decided to hide fully behind the tree while the latter turned around slowly and sunk into the bushes

“S-sorry everyone,I can't look any longer.”

“My apologies,this is something I am not too mentally ready to see as I speak,so I'm leaving the visuals to the three of you.”

After getting undressed, the woman was shocked by Ruri's appearance. "Oh my, I didn't know you're..." Regardless, she proceeds to wash her, feeling the coldness of her skin. "You're lucky that Eden has not caught wind of you. If they do, then you'll end up being experimented...like my people." The woman spoke as she begins to open up her past "Do you have a name?"​

“R-Ruri.” the young dragon girl answered timidly, “Papa Xenon and Mama Rachelle gave me the name.”

Cheng was noticeably concerned the moment he had heard her say "end up being experimented like my people",scowling in a hushed tone.

“Tsch.....some of the families already captured Eidolons...? This just renders our efforts to stop them from finding the Gate to Algwar moot if they ended up spitting it out...!”

"What a lovely name, Ruri." The woman said with a smile "You know, the village of Saffreon are very nice people, considerate as well. Although, I haven't told them the truth cause otherwise they would report me to Eden. To be honest, I believe I may be the last one. However, I'm sure there exist another like me. Eden might have fully wiped out my people because of their lust for power. I'm sure there are some in captivity, tormented and suffering by their diabolical methods to spit out every truth from their tongue. It really pains me to think about that."​

“You mean um...Eidolons,right? Mama Rachelle is also one...I think.”

Ruri answered in response to the unnamed woman.

“What is your name...?”

The woman's eyes widened in surprise. When asked for her name, she said "Lorna Kadmon. Ruri, if what you said is true, then I'll be more than glad to lend her one of my summons. There is a reason for I have this much; they are need of a savior for they have sensed a great evil looming among them. For that reason, my people have chosen me because of my mastery of summon magic and out of all those who made a bond with them, I have the one with the most bonds, twenty one to be specific. Because of this, I was labelled as a "wild card" amongst my fellow Eidolons." ​

“So she really IS an Eidolon....astounding that has that many...!”

“We still have a problem however.”

Xenon immediately cut in. Ruri looked crestfallen the moment she had heard Lorna's offer. Everyone else in the group knew the reason why.

“Mama Rachelle...went back to her home. Didn't believe she is an Eidolon and want to ask her mama and papa.”

"I see, so she must have had amnesia I presumed. But since she has learned the truth, there is no turning back to her ordinary life. I pity her." Lorna said "Come on, time to finish up. By the way, are you all alone by yourself?"​

Ruri shook her head and looked at Lorna.

“I can bring you to Papa Xenon and friends.”

“Oh shoot- Guys! Further away from the lake!”

Xenon ushered to everyone in a busy tone,prompting everyone else to move back and out of the forest as Ruri and Lorna got themselves dried up to wear their clothes.

But....amnesia...? Hey,I thought you said that Rachelle's descendants are-

If my memory serves me wrong not,then it could be either that or,if it truly is a case of amnesia,thy former companion is a reincarnation of a former Eidolon.

The Artic Knight answered in response to Xenon's doubts.

There was only one Eidolon who started a family that continued on through the generation.

"That...would be appreciated." Lorna said as she puts on her clothes. Ruri would do the same.

"By the way, please don't tell them who I am. I'm afraid that they might be in trouble if they know." Lorna said.​

Ruri nodded in acceptance. Although she knew that they very likely had already heard her and are either way likely to find themselves in trouble ever since they've crossed oath with Eden twice.

“Ruri? Where are you at now?”

Xenon called out,acting as if like he was looking for Ruri after a while of searching. Her ears perked up,Ruri turned towards the forest and ran forward,where the wielder of the Artic Rose soon emerged out of the forest.

“Papa!”

Ruri threw herself onto Xenon,hugging the latter happily while receiving an affectionate headpat in return.

“Don't you run off in your own again okay- huh?”

Xenon looked up,noticing Lorna before looking back down at Ruri,whose's horns are now exposed. Panicking (or at least,acting like so),he quickly put the hood back on Ruri,much the latter's dismay.

“Papa,it's okay! She knows!”

"So you must be Xenon. I'm Lorna Kadmon, nice to meet you." She says with a bright smile on her face.​

“P-pleasure to meet you too. I guess Ruri's told you about me earlier. Right uh...sorry you had to look out for her.”

Xenon spoke,bowing apologetically to Lorna.

"Not at all, really." Lorna said "So, what brings you here?"​

“Well....my group and I've been hearing rumors about some roarings going on in the middle of the night here,so I thought we'd check.”

Xenon explained.

"Oh, so you're one of those adventurers. Well since I have exposed myself to Ruri, looks like I might have to confess myself." Lorna said.​

“Huh? What do you mean by that?”

Xenon asked,although knowing Lorna's status as an Eidolon,was honestly not expecting her to have actually decided to confess either way.

"Well you see, those noises that the villagers have been hearing all night are coming from me. You see...I've been trying to learning this spell that mimics any noise coming from a creature. I did not take into consideration about how loud and scary it was." Lorna said.​

“I-I see.”

A simple "Silencio" spell could work though.....please tell me she isn't an airhead. Although she didn't actually tell me the truth. I better let the other knows so they don't blurt the truth out too.

“Well,whatever the case,that settles the mystery.”

“Papa. Can we take her with us...?”

Ruri asked Xenon.

“Well,I don't see a reason not to.” Xenon responded, “Are you okay with this,Miss Lorna?’

"I don't see why not. It's been long since I've went on adventures. The last that I've went I had to destroy a sorcerer who has been raising the dead and ransacking villages. A single powerful spell was enough to put him down." Lorna agrees "Say, do you have a party? If so, is any one of you magic users?"​

“Only me currently.” he answered “The rest of the party are all tech and physical weaponry-focused,and...one of my party members left earlier.”

"Hmm...well, it doesn't hurt if another magic user is in the party. So yeah,I'll be glad to join you in your adventures." Lorna says.​
