Ohhhhhh, was it my post saying that whole thing about the blood having ‘power’ to it and stuff like that? Like assuming it’s affects and what not? Sorry I’m really stupid and not good at understanding things right off the bat so if I’m wrong please correct me xDThat isn't really my point. In fact, that 'impulsiveness' can also be seen as a neat character flaw, leaving room for character development and growth with your companions. No character is perfect, and though everyone calls them 'heroes', I expect them to face hard choices and face problems as a team -- as a 'Cast'. Not as individual 'protagonists'. I think having those accidental mistakes or impulses that create complications are good for a group to grow and learn. But that was not the main issue.
What I want to correct was a player issue, not a character issue. Does that make sense? Nothing was wrong with the action of the character itself. Go ahead, be impulsive. I encourage it. But where it went wrong was you going ahead of yourself too much and assumed HOW something worked. When, in my world, many things, especially supernatural, do not work the way you would think they would ordinarily. What you did in your last post was not enough to bring about a full ret-con, nor was it severe enough to force me to ask for edits in posts. But I can see it leading that way if I do not speak up about it now, and place a precedence of caution for the future. As this has happened with you once before. However, I do not want you to feel restricted in your choice. Again, the choice and action was not the problem, it was the execution.
As a player, you are given choice and freedom, to act and interact with anything in this world of mine. But the consequence and result of any action relating to an unknown factor, must fall under my discretion. Otherwise, what's the difference between GM and Player. When dealing with foreign entities, just give me an intention and be patient. Allow the mood to sink in and the narrative to unfold. No need to rush it.
I do not like playing the rule warden, or your naggy roleplay boss. Although I enjoy joking and memeing around with you all, I have to uphold a level of standard and order for this roleplay. Out of pride, and out of respect.
