Fantasy Shallow Waters- Assassin RP

"You bug!  Why is it the ones that fight and run that I get stuck with! " lucifer followed the man. He climbed with almost an emense amount of darkness radiating off of his body. "You either fight me or I'll torture you for a eternity" @Wick

Coran began sucking in shadows increasing his strengthen before teleporting from the headquarters to the location. Time to support Jay, that was his name right. He sucked in shadow again and drew his blade wrapping shadows around his whole body, and he disappeared. He had enough strength now to attack Lucifer from his own. He did just that. He moved straight into Lucifer's shadow the darkness penetrating his whole being and slashed him twice with his twin blades infecting him with his shadows before moving out to another shadow out of Lucifer's immediate range. He'd be a fool to think he could kill Lucifer that easy.

Lucifer gave up as another human came to help his foolish friend. "Ohhh one likes to sting one like to run! " lucifer was having fun. He looked for someone anyone and saw the movement but couldn't match it. He stayed ready and then say it. "Another damn bugs multiply" lucifer ran after the human full speed with two massive swords that would've taken two hands to. Hold each. @Blitzer

Coran watched Lucifer stumbling around trying to find him. He should have kept going after Jay, if he wanted to accomplish anything. Lucifer's type wasn't the sort that would kill him easily. The shadow would begin to affect his eye sight clouding it soon. Coran began to chant eerily a spell, and the sound drifted through the forest filling it. Shadows began to appear everywhere. He was enhancing his domain to the highest that he could. Soon it would be his play field.

Lucifer couldn't see. "BURN DIE ALL OF YOU! " lucifer screamed not in agnoy but in... Pleasure?!?!?. The pain felt pleasing he looked around his eyes glowing almost red as a hot coal and his vision cleared. He looked for evyone of them. "I'm a God a very powerful one you the puppet master come out I know your type it won't work and you archer come down. " lucifer had killed and tortured so. Many like the ones he was fighting.

The cloaked man was already there. He had been for quite some time. He had identified four possible threats and was waiting for the right time to strike. If he attacked the devil from behind, the other gods would have an advantage and attack him from behind, and that would not be good. He clambered up into the trees, perched just above Lucifer. He pulled out a long pointed sword. which was poisoned with a swirling blue liquid on the tip. He held steady, waiting for the perfect moment. Closer...

Closer..

Now.

The assassin plummeted from the branch and plunged the sword into Lucifer's back. It was a move that would easily kill any mortal man, but the cloaked assassin knew that it would only temporarily slow a god named after the devil himself. He held his legs in a chokehold around Lucifer's neck and pulled out a dagger which he threw at the place he had last seen the God of Judgement. It whistled through the frosted air towards the god...

"You little brat" lucifer grabbed for the assassin.  He felt the sword it felt like javeing wine that went away almost instantly. Lucifer backed up hitting a tree with the assasin on his back. "Die! "Lucifer summoned a death cloaked weapons that made the contacted enemy del like they burnednfor eternities.

Being smacked against a tree winded him momentarily, but you catch your breath quickly when adrenaline pumps through your veins at the speed of a drag racer. The assassin fell off Lucifer's back, pulling the sword down and making a long, clean cut down the Devil's back. Then he sliced at the brute's calves. Human or god, you're gong to have some trouble with wounded legs. The cloaked assassin retreated backwards and disappeared into the shaded forest. It was the other assassin's moment to strike.

@LuckyLucifer

Coran tched and and out of the ground came his shadows swirling, capturing Lucifer's feet binding him in place temporarily. What every he could do to help the masked the man. He sensed out the poison and strengthened it as much as he could with the shadow. Lucifer would be reeling soon. They needed to get him to retreat quickly before any one else butted in. As the assassin slashed open his legs, he tore them with his shadows.

@LuckyLucifer

Rah,  you famn fool" lucifer felt a burning sensation but it went away. Pain is a figure of the mind. "Leave now t know your future! " lucifer stood with a stumble but started to slash towards figures. He ran after one that retreated not exactly knowing where he was but knowing the direction. "I hate these bugs always getting in the way of the gods lucifer ran at a figure seeing more appear as he got closer.

Dar'vange saw the battle unfold, and teleported so that the blade passed an inch away from his head. He shot an invisible glare at the Mortal. And walked, invisibly, closer to the current battle. While he was pleased at their efforts to destroy The Hell Spawn, he also grew angry at them. He hadn't done anything. Lucifer deserved to be killed by those he found so much pleasure in mistreating, but Dar'vange had done nothing wrong, in his eyes anyway, that warranted being attacked. This means they attacked simply to attack. That was unjust. He worried about Ezrael but also wondered what he would say about this, when the people he stood against Death for attacked him simply because they could. And this made them no better than Farazia, Escora, Ishari, and those other gods of Death, who killed because they could.

Jay Conners

Jay arrived at the top of the tree, carefully lowering himself into position on a branch. Two of the others had arrived, the one who controlled shadows, and the mysterious cloaked one. Both were surprisingly agile, and seemed to have little to no trouble with holding off Lucifer. The god was in a blind rage, swinging pointlessly at the air which the cloaked man had previously been.

Lucifer ran at the Shadow, slashing and slicing at anything that came in his path. In mere seconds Jay sent an arrow into each of his feet, burying their way deep into the ground, even through the snow. He then leaped off the treetop, grabbing onto some branches far below and slowing his fall so that he landed gracefully on the powder-covered ground. He drew another arrow, but didn't cock it in his bow. He readied himself in case Lucifer attacked, in which case he would evade and slice the god's tendons.

Lucifer felt the arrows. he pushed the threw not breaking them He made a bow appear and shot of the arrows at the archer."all you do is someone no man dose this only weaklings that hide do that" Lucifer had a spiked shield with heavy large. He started to walk at the assassin then run out of no where. He slashed with his death coated sword cutting a line at his arm.The death coat made the worse burning sensation to come to mortals, it pretty much disabled the place hit for the pain of moving it is like putting coals on that spot.. Lucifer kept slashing not knowing if he hit or not.

An eruption of activity. Assasins flying from the surrounding forest, arrows whistling, the cackles of an enraged god.
Annabelle sprung to action and did what she did best. She scampered up the leg of NAMELESS and back inside the construct, huddling against the back wall as NAMELESS's flames began to warm her up a bit more.
"N-Nameless! D-D-Do something! Anyth-th-thing!" She whimpered, huddled in a fetal position.

The construct felt pity for her. She would not learn on her own if she kept doing this sort of thing, and only NAMELESS knew that.
Still, this was a moment for NAMELESS to show Lucifer how it felt about him. With the best speed it could muster, NAMELESS moved in front of Lucifer's swinging weapons, effectively blocking his attacks. Though coated with death itself, the weapons seemed to bounce off the construct with the feel of magnetic repulsion. Wonder Barrier rendered the weapons as mere metal.

Taking the hits one by one, NAMELESS slowly raised one of it's stone legs into the air. The heavy leg then flew in a downwards arc, attempting to forcefully slam into Lucifer.

Lucifer noticed his blows not hitting. He immediately took acti9n to the stone giant placing out explosives by its feet."Feel a tingle you damned rock"

OOC (I apologize, but how on Earth did Lucifer acquire explosive charges? I mean, I understand he is an immortal being, but last time I checked, he cannot just summon whatever the hell he wants to..)

(No pun intended)

THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN

a07a25fd919cef0591f8d01d766531ee.gif

The Horseman had been awakened. Death hungered and so did he.

Deep in the storage of the old archives came the rattling, till the chains smothering the iron cast coffin snapped. Splitting apart with a lash. A heated axe-blade, carving its way through the metal lid, in an odd silence that filled with dread. Lazarus had already recognised the first calling, but standing outside the door he merely listened and shifted away. At last, the final crash of his escape, and a leather boot stepped out. Accompanied by the broad-shouldered figure, of the horseman. A stump of old flesh and coagulated blood, of where his head used to rest. Topped off with a gleaming sliver of bone, that remained of his somewhat elegant neck.
Dressed in his crimson coat, with golden military buttons; tarnished from age, the Rider of Death took his long strides out toward the door, weapon swung behind his back to sheathe. He had yet to find his horse, and the weak minded gods who knew nothing of devotion stood in his way. Shoving the door open, catching Lazarus on the shoulder, he marched past Escora and into the thrown shadows of the hallway.
The hulking frame was recognisable anywhere. But his steed, the white mare with hellish eyes that was his faithful companion - gone.

Last he'd seen of the beast, was the forest, in deep midwinter. Hidden from him, untouchable by his grasp. Alas, not for long. As an extension of Death herself personified into a soldier of the apocalypse, his centuries-long slumber had done nothing but strengthened him. Striding brazenly through the mists that overwhelmed dimensions and pathways, a road only he of few had knowledge of, began battling his way through. Any stray imps or demons which had taken up residence in his absence were swiftly dismissed into a kinder afterlife. At last, he emerged at the world's border. Snow suffocating the current landscape, surrounded by the dome of overcast skies (to his delight). Stepping unhindered by the full force of the suns rays, he looked with somewhat distress for his lost counterpart.

Perhaps that god, Ezrael had caught the mighty creature, and sanctified her? Nay. Anger boiled in his veins, an unnegotiable rage of little else. Desperate. Till the sounds of fighting drew his invisible gaze. Turning suddenly on heel, at ninety degrees, in heavy military step, he advanced upon the scene.

Lucifer. The name was bitter and filled with the same sourness of curdled milk. Dar'vange, too had come. As if judgement could be his call, and not the finality of Death.

But he was overwhelmed by the stench of mortality, that he overlooked Ezrael a moment.

Everyone deserved to die. No one was innocent. People sinned, and sinning was punishable by the neverending torment of purgatory.  Sin. Sin. Sin. It was like dirt, a sticky filth that you couldn't wash away, till finally, you caved to the madness in your head. Disgusting. Death was freedom. And SHE had given it to him to wield in her name.

So tempted to wash away the sins of Lucifer, that he unsheathed the axe - its blade heating orange. It would start with him, and end with them all, till he found his white mare.

For its rider was named Death, and Hades would follow soon behind.

OOC (Eh, I can handle it. Just give me a little bit to work with the current situation). ;) ;)

OOC (explosion=pain=Lucifer, well objects or items that cause pain. Can be created or summoned by comamnd...plus it's even what I put for reasons like this"

OOC (I could literally throw a plush stuffed animal at someone, and manage to cause them pain due to the little marbles that make up it's eyes. Everything can cause pain, so that still makes no sense.. -,-)

Dar'vange surveyed the battle, till he heard footsteps. Familiar footsteps from long ago. He turned and stared in shock. It was the Headless Horseman, awakened from his slumber. Why? Did someone let him out? Or did he escape somehow? No matter. He was definitely an enemy of Justice, killing and killing under the pretense that Judgement came only from Death. Not all sin bears the punishment of Death.

He called out to him.

"So The Rider finally wakes up! Welcome to the party! While I would like to argue about True Justice, these Mortals do in fact deserve death! Except the girl, leave her alone. And Lucifer. You can kill him too."

He waited for The Horseman's next move.

The stone giant; it moved. It's mighty leg came down and obliterated the snow in front of Jay and Lucifer mere seconds before he could be killed. Jay had been taken off guard by the incredible speed that Lucifer had demonstrated; If the giant had not intervened his fight would finally have ended, whether he wanted it to or not. The shock-wave that the foot had created sent Jay flying a few feet back into the icy snow. He gasped in surprise and lifted himself up onto his arms in time to catch a glimpse of a small silhouette behind the flames that roared within the Golem. It turned out of the way to face the devil however. Jay gathered himself and stood, heading over and ducking beneath a tree to observe for a bit.

Before the giant did anything else however, something happened. Even with the freezing wind spraying the area with fresh sheets of ice, the sudden chill that ran down Jay's spine was brought by something else, something far more dangerous than even Lucifer. There the figure was, standing at the edge of the clearing, and wielding a large, shimmering ax. Everything to fit a normal assassin, perhaps the cavalry was still showing up. Then he noticed something off about it, the head; There was nothing resting on top of the shoulders but a stump for a neck. Jay had heard stories of a headless horseman before, when in the present, and this future, but he saw no horse, only the reaper, whom was said to bring death to all who came near him.

"Shit.." He watched as it strode a little further into the area. He wasn't sure if it was looking around, but something told him it had glanced at him at least once, however it may do so. Now however, it began to advance on Lucifer. Farley had sent this team of skilled humans to take down the devil, but instead they were not only battling him, but battling a stone giant that could likely spew flames, a headless man, and possibly another god. Perhaps this was all a trap; Perhaps there were even more immortals nearby, awaiting the time to slaughter them all. Damn Farley, he was always reckless to send his men in and kill the gods, but often got them killed instead.
