Yes, you might like them with the amount of fucking around they do when orks, skeletons, and chaos come knocking on their door. You'd be surprised.
The only reason why they aren't dead within the first few books are the ground mar- sigmari- bargain bin spa- "Stormcast Eternals."
If you like hearing about humans being overly political about NOTHING, then having their asses handed to them, be my guest. This be the solemn truth. But there is a few good humanity fuck yeah moments so its worth the read.

Taking a break helps, or if it's just one scene you're stuck on try reevaluating it to see if it can be done differently.
