Fantasy Seiunita OOC

BubbleButt BubbleButt

I edited it, and it's out in the air plain for all to see. Except, Jean is going to his room for his daily siesta.

Nogoodname Nogoodname

The concept I had for him was that he was a famous/notorious captain of a mercenary guild, [INSERT NAME], and who was pretty popular with dukes, kings, and especially, women. But, mercenaries being mercenaries, he was betrayed by his own son and left to die in a battle of sorts.

He survived, miraculously, nursed to health by a widow. Shit happened, and other shut happened, and he was presumed dead by everyone. He was left to take care of the formerly alive widow's properties and her children, in exchange for a bit of legal land and a chance to make a new name for himself. Bitter memories of his son still remained, but they were stagnant memories.

And, he slowly became a coward of sorts; very passive, too passive. That's what happens to everybody who get's betrayed. You either become an alcoholic/addict or a coward.

Boom, insert current storyline, his land gets burnt, his house ransacked, and his daughters forcing him along for some kinda vengeance seeking thing.

So, I had the choice of either creating a flat manslayer or a dynamic coward. The latter seemed more fun, significantly more realistic. So I went with just that, seeing that 100% of the people here can fight, for some reason.

Okay, to be fair I generally play non combative characters, I just wanted to branch out a bit :P

He sounds like a very interesting character though! Wanna have him play a fatherly figure to a rising young captain who's well on her way to finding herself betrayed in a similar way? ^_^

Yeah, I think so... not so heavy. lol
If you want that kinda music, look up Alex Roe on youtube, he makes some great dark/demons souls remixes, plus a lot of his own stuff, I personally like his tides of time album.

That would be a nice idea.

I'm not sure if this would necessarily fit, but Nick Cave's murder ballads tend to have haunting melodies. I'd encourage you to listen to where the wild roses grow. Also The Antlers might fit the bill. Listen to maybe Kettering? Or even I wish I was the Moon by Neko Cass.
