Fantasy Seiunita OOC

On the topic of the Water Kingdom, I wrote up a sea shanty about the WK
Wandering Grim Hollow Wandering Grim Hollow I can't remember if I sent this to you or not
Farewell an’ adieu to our mainland mates!
Farewell an’ adieu to you lads of the lake,
For we’ve got orders to sail to Oceania,
So just hope you're not in our war propaganda!

We’ll rant an’ we’ll roar, like true mercenaries,
We’ll rant an’ we’ll rave across salty seas,
‘Till we strike soundings in that ole' kingdom,
From Argos to Abyssia it's thirty-four leagues!

We hove our ship to, an' our sails, we caught 'em,
We hove our ship to, to take soundings clear.
In fifty-five fathoms with a fine sandy bottom,
We filled our topsail, up channel we steer.

The first land we made was a point called Mist'cove,
We sailed then by Stolter, past Cragtop we drove
Next Hammerhead off Blackrock, Port' and Blight.
Then bore straight past that South Kraken light.

Now the signal was made for the Grand Fleet to anchor,
We clewed up our tops’ls, stuck out tacks and sheets.
We stood by our stoppers, we brailed in our spankers,
And anchored ahead of the noblest of fleets.

Let every man here drink up his full bumper,
Let every man here drink up his full bowl,
And let us be jolly and drown melancholy,
Drink a health to each jovial an’ true-hearted soul.

I ain't no songwriter, but this was a lot of fun to do.

Yeah you did. I didn't know where to add it so I was planning on having a side character sing it.

I swear you flatter me to much.

There should be a scene in a bar where a bunch of drunk hooligans burst out into song.
I give complements where they're deserved, I just so happen to feel everything made here deserves a compliment.
And yeeeeees sea shanties are the best!

It'll be the rare moment where the hard as nails and cold as ice Grandmistress smiles slightly. She has fond memories of that song.
Does the water kingdom have it's own language?

Nah. They speak common. Oh and this neato languagse that sounds like common underwater but a gurgled mess above water.
