Second Chances (Mobius & Sgt Gomez)

[Mobius]

"I am not milking a cow. Period." Shane told him stubbornly.

 

[Sgt Gomez]

"Do it. Or are you chicken? Eh, I guess you are more of a cupcake, am I right?"

 

[Mobius]

"I am not a chicken and I certainly am not a cupcake, but I am not touching one of those things," Shane told him firmly, sounding even more stubborn than before.

 

[Sgt Gomez]

"Oh come on, ya big chicken, bessy here ain't gonna hurt you," he laughs.

 

[Mobius]

Shane glared at him,"Where did that big mouth of yours get you before?" She clenched her hands into fists again.

 

[Sgt Gomez]

"On top of you if I remember right," he smirks.

 

[Mobius]

"After you took a beating," Shane growled.

 

[Sgt Gomez]

"You got 1 good punch in and it barely hurt!" He laughs.

 

[Mobius]

"Shut up!" Shane snapped, glaring at him.

 

[Sgt Gomez]

"Someone seems angry," He laughs. "How about I make you a deal?"

 

[Mobius]

Shane narrowed her eyes at him. "What kind of deal?" She asked slowly.

 

[Sgt Gomez]

"You do the chore I assign to you and you get something in return, what do you want in return?"

 

[Mobius]

Shane thought for a moment before asking,"What do you mean by what do I want in return?"

 

[Sgt Gomez]

"If you do your chores, what do you want as your side of the deal?"

 

[Mobius]

Shane looked surprised for a moment. She then thought for a little before shrugging and muttering(" I don't know..."

 

[Sgt Gomez]

"Come on there must be something?" He says and smiles.

 

[Mobius]

Shane thought again before shrugging,"I don't know... I've never thought about it before..."

 

[Sgt Gomez]

"Come on, just say something!"

 

[Mobius]

Shane sighed and shrugged,"I don't know... some free time in the town I guess... more cigarettes... you not calling me cupcake... the first one..."

 

[Sgt Gomez]

"How much freetime are you asking for?" he raises an eyebrow. "We do need to get you some work clothes later."

 

[Mobius]

Shane shrugged,"I don't know... a couple hours?"

 

[Sgt Gomez]

"Can I trust you?" he looks at her and reaches out his hand.

 

[Mobius]

Shane looked down at his hand before sighing quietly and shook his hand, nodding. "Yeah, you can," she told him in a mumble, clearly not happy about giving him anything.

 

[Sgt Gomez]

He smiled, "Good. Now let's start by teaching you how to milk a cow!"

 

[Mobius]

Shane groaned and shoved her hands in her pockets, definitely not wanting to milk a cow.
