"It's just a simple question" Vallen said withdrawing his hand and popping a sour candy into his mouth "But if you don't want to answer that's fine." He turns to the others and asks "And what are your names?"

"My name is Victoria, but you can call me Vic. Can I have some of your candy?" She asked, she hadn't had candy in so long it was like a foreign food to her.

"thanks, Kiara follow me" He stated and dragged her along without waiting for a response.

"Sure thing" Vallen said tossing the bag to Vic "Careful though, they're a custom recipe with concentrated sour flavoring".

He turned his attention to Alex "Let's see, confrontational and boisterous, quick to assume, and even quicker to insult. So do you enjoy being a cardboard cutout of a high school drama cliche?or do you even lack that much self awareness?"

Alex stopped in his tracks and turned around. "Excuse me?" He stated as lightning began to cover his body.

"Thanks." She said, popping one in her mouth and wincing. "Jeeze this could burn holes in wood...Where can I buy it?" 

"My family owns a candy shop" Vallen said gesturing for Vic to keep the bag "We have an online store if you want the address. I came up with that formula myself though; you'd be surprised how much chemistry comes in handy when making candy."

Alex stopped in his tracks and turned around. "Excuse me?" He stated as lightning began to cover his body.

Kiara felt the energy again as he covered his body in lightning, the one she'd felt before. What was it?

Alex looked him in the eye. "The hell did you just say to me?" he asked again.

Alex stopped in his tracks and turned around. "Excuse me?" He stated as lightning began to cover his body. 

"Here we go again. And we were having such a nice time..." She said, sighing. There was always that one hot-head friend, Always. 


"Don't feel bad Vallen. Its nothing personal." She said, walking over to Kiara and watching it go down.

coils of black smoke formed around Vallen's fingers and glowing green embers materialized in the air around him. The smell of burning pine filled the air and Vallen's eyes glowed a deep green and he began to chuckle sending plumes of smoke from between his lips.


"Oh and here I thought you could take a joke cutout" He said laughing "You've just proven my point."

coils of black smoke formed around Vallen's fingers and glowing green embers materialized in the air around him. The smell of burning pine filled the air and Vallen's eyes glowed a deep green and he began to chuckle sending plumes of smoke from between his lips.


"Oh and here I thought you could take a joke cutout" He said laughing "You've just proven my point."

Alex didnt like being mocked. his lightning went straight to red and the ground around him buckled from the mense boost of power. "Keep laughing tough guy" He stated letting his anger ge the best of him. Alex's power was emensely stronger when he was furious but came at the price of draining him quickly.

Kaylin finally came back up and tapped the bubble surrounding her head and she grabbed the dock before pulling herself up. She felt her clothes were dry and she watched as Alex and some random guy's elements were getting very dangerous and it did not look good for anyone. "So who is the new guy?"

"I kinda wish I could make stuff like Marcus because I would totally make some popcorn right now. Lightning versus Lightning. Im curious to see how this turns out." She said with a chuckle.
