Her thought process was abruptly shattered when a body slammed into her, hurling her to the ground. "Ow what the hell." She said with her eyes closed, she opened them to see Alex and groaned in her head. Great way to start the day, with someone who didn't like her.

Kaylin finished the nap she had taken after she gotten back to her room and she left the dorm, wandering around aimlessly while drinking a bottle of water in her room. "Hmm, this has a very interesting taste." She laughed before taking another swig of the water and going into an area that seemed empty and she dumped the water on the ground. "This should be enough water to practice making a barrier." She concentrated and, much to her disappointment, couldn't do it but she kept at it, blocking out any noise that she could hear.

Kaylin finished the nap she had taken after she gotten back to her room and she left the dorm, wandering around aimlessly while drinking a bottle of water in her room. "Hmm, this has a very interesting taste." She laughed before taking another swig of the water and going into an area that seemed empty and she dumped the water on the ground. "This should be enough water to practice making a barrier." She concentrated and, much to her disappointment, couldn't do it but she kept at it, blocking out any noise that she could hear.

Victoria walked around the school and realized something. Her powers weren't limited to just physical darkness, but to mental darkness, the darkness in others. She could feel the darkness manifesting in people. Some minuscule, some large, but they all had darkness. Overwhelmed, she found an empty lot and leaned against the wall , taking in a deep breath and huffing in annoyance once she heard someone spilling water. Figuring that she might as well make conversation she walked around the corner to see Kaylin trying to do something with the water. Deeply regretting walking around that corner but telling herself she couldn't just run because she had already been seen, she gave an awkward two finger salute. "Hey,"

Victoria walked around the school and realized something. Her powers weren't limited to just physical darkness, but to mental darkness, the darkness in others. She could feel the darkness manifesting in people. Some minuscule, some large, but they all had darkness. Kaylin turned and she saw Victoria standing there and she nodded before walking towards the other girl. "Hey, just practicing making a barrier but I can't ever do it no matter how much I try." She had turned to look at the puddle she made before turning back to face Victoria and sighing in defeat. "So, what brings you here to the most remote corner of this entire place?" She has the power over darkness if I remember correctly, that can be very dangerous if handled improperly, or that's what my parents told me and they knew a lot about the other elements.

Kaylin nodded in agreement before running a hand through her hair. "I totally get that, I think everyone needs a break sometimes from others." She then turned towards the voice and she narrowed her eyes. Something isn't right, why would we kill each other?  "Why would you say that?" She held her arms behind her back and felt her bow form but she didn't do anything with it.

Marcus laughed "Relax. It was but a simple joke." He looked serious for a moment "Can I trust you two with a secret?"

Kaylin smirked a little and the weapon dissolved before she crossed her arms. "I don't tell secrets either so yeah, what is it?"

"There is a man coming here soon...He may look normal...But he is a weapon. I need the two of you to make sure no one attacks him when he arrives....He has a habit of being....Cold.....But if someone were to attack him....The entire island would be blown away"

See the level of darkness in him. "We could hang out by the front gates and wait. Is that okay with you?" She asked, turning to Kaylin.

 Kaylin nodded and she looked over at Victoria before looking back at Marcus. "Sure, it could also be helpful if we also got a name." She twirled the end of her braid and looked towards the docks where this person would show up.

"His name is William 'Teris', just a last name I gave him since he has none. His has pure white hair and can control Ice. He's 18, and won't be hard to find. He's very strong"

"Like you strong or whoa I can sense him and he is still on the boat strong?" Victoria asked, looking toward the dock. "Because if he is that strong I doubt we could get near him without disintegrating into dust."

Victoria looked at Kaylin with shocked eyes. "Guess that's our cue?" She asked, surprised by Marcus' sudden disappearance. 


She frowned when she asked a question. "That is weird. We should ask him that later." She said, starting to walk over to the docks and slowly picking up urgency, waving for Kaylin to join her.

Kaylin shivered at the chill and she turned towards the docks. "Well, I guess we should hurry over there but why couldn't Marcus just meet him, why us?"
