Kuro waited for an impact that never came. His guess had been correct. A one sided fight was never fun for anyone. The impact he had waited on was somewhat delayed. Several shards of something had successfully pinned him to one of the trees. He didn't worry about it. The worst had been avoided in this conflict.

"Haven't you noticed that there's an abnormal pattern to this entire forest yet?" His voice strained slightly from his previous injuries. "Look at how straight the trees are. Look at the ground. It's flat. There's no wind or any sign of wildlife either. Doesn't that seem at all odd?"

At this point, he didn't know if she was even still there. He could have been just speaking to himself. It was still worth a shot, and he dared not move and possibly provoke a violent response. The shards that pinned him supported some of his weight anyway. After sustaining a few injuries, it was a somewhat welcome relief.

Clara dreamed again of her past. This time she found herself back in her fathers lab at the Research and Development Centre. She recently passed her 8th birthday and she decided to drop by to surprise him after her school. She often did this as she loved spending time with him as much as possible before returning home to her mom's cooking. That day was different however, it was the day she learned the truth about her parents.

After talking to the receptionist at the facility, she was escorted by a guard to the hallway of her fathers office. They talked on the way there, the guard knowing her well from her fathers work. He always took an interest in to how her day was at school, what her studies included. Their walk only lasted a couple of minutes but she loved talking with him. As always, the guard left her at the door to the hallway of the office. She'd wave goodbye to him and then proceed to skip down the hallway, her face beaming with excitement before stopping just outside the door.

Clara was about to rest her hand on the handle before she paused, hearing enraged voices inside.

"But sir, you gotta understand, she's my daughter! If she found out what I did, I'd lose her!" the raised voice protested. Clara instantly recognised it as her fathers.

"Your position here, as valuable as it is, is a weak one. I can cut your funding and projects like cutting string. I want those results or you can clear the desk. Family or not, we need a sample of live tissue to determine the origin of the Faunus species," the other voice argued back. Clara didn't recognise this man's voice.

She wondered what he meant by a tissue sample. Opening the door and peeking her head inside, she spoke out to her father, "What did you do daddy?"

Her father turned to her, his face turned pale, his eyes widened. The silence that followed were just as confusing to the young Faunus as the conversation she overheard.

"C-Clara?!" he stuttered. At this point, the other man had slipped out to avoid the confrontation, leaving the father and daughter alone in the office. At this point her memory began to fade onto later that night, sitting in the lounge of her home, her mother in tears and her father explaining what he had done. The conversation was hard to remember but she recalled the outcome. Before Clara was born, her mother had volunteered to be experimented on by her husband, Clara's father, to study the Faunus race for more information on animal traits and strengths. Through these experiments, he found out how to manipulate Faunus DNA that controlled the animal traits, being ears, tails, claws and more. After Clara was born and discovered to carry her mothers genes as a Faunus, he secretly conducted tests on her as an infant. Since she was born with the ears, he attempted to control her DNA and enhance it. Only partially working, Clara began to also grow a tail, the fur eventually matching her ears.

This of course didn't go unnoticed, causing a dispute in the family household but to the RDC, he was praised with the breakthrough and offered a contract to somehow weaponize his results.

Ever since her tail became noticeable, she had to wear a cloak designed to be extra padded at the rear to hide the extra limb. Throughout the years as she grew, she had to adjust to the size changes.

Clara's dreams were suddenly interrupted with the feeling of her body being moved. The pain in her head returned, jarring her completely away. She couldn't open her eyes, yet she was aware of what was happening. A familiar voice called to her, panic was evident. A gentle rocking back and forth occurred, the feeling of being carried away from the spot to which she laid. Clara wanted to call out to the person but couldn't find the energy to do so. Instead, she just let go and waited until she had the strength to wake up fully.

@Dragonfry @EveryoneElse

"If you're implying that this has been one large set-up, then I'd be inclined to agree." The young man clad in violet stepped forth. Though it wasn't some sort of trickery or Semblance that had kept him hidden. He had simply been standing in the background, the two combatants were simply too focused on one another to notice his presence. Though, given the fact that one of those fighters was blind, the lack of awareness had been understandable.

He twirled his strange fusion of a weapon around before sliding it back into its dark sheath. That was that, and there'd be no point in picking a fight with that woman. A wicked grin soon spread on his face. A strange, almost intoxicating sense of pleasure had planted its seeds within him. To deny her of her thrill through simple passiveness. Had the gambit failed, he had been prepared to spirit away the swordsman.

The young man carried himself in an almost theatrical and bombastic manner as he continued to move forward. Any novice could see a multitude of openings with the way he advanced forward to the carefree stance that he had assumed. It was almost as if he was deliberately inviting death, a taunt to the bloodthirsty. A fool through and through, though perhaps his manner provoked even the slightest of suspicions.

"Perhaps an artificial area that they had always planned to crash the airship into. That little Miss over there would have attracted a Grimm or two by now anyways."

(@Rozalski, @Entarriance)

"Oh, alright. You go on ahead." He said as Jade went away. He kept walking forward, transforming his gun into an axe with a button that was supposed to look like a safety button to turn off the gun. He started hacking and slashing at trees and they went down after a couple hits with the strength he barely had. He looked around more after the area was clear, still he could see nobody, not even Jade. He had to make attempt to get other survivors to approach him. He loaded a red dust cartridge into his gun after he pushed a button on the bottom of the hilt of the axe to transform it back. He aimed it at the clearish sky and fired. Once it was high enough, it exploded with fire and smoke. It was a medium sized explosion. 'Now we wait.'

He refused to fight. Not only was it completely boring for June, but June was soon able to comprehend that this man wasn't a threat. Sure took long enough, with injuries she had already inflicted, but if he wasn't a threat to her safety, than there wasn't a point. The theatrical man took a step forward, and she immediately raised her alert once again, though after sheathing his weapon, with the numerous openings he invited himself to, the slowly growing ache in her own body surprisingly overpowered her hyserical savagery. If no one was going to fight her, why not let someone else deal with the lethargy of being in control right now. June, wasn't there for the entire aircraft, ironically. Whatever they were saying, it meant nothing to her, or at least nothing that she could have understood. Hopefully, whatever Grimm there was, she wouldn't get to be the one to deal with it. Maybe dying wouldn't be such a bad idea?

There was a massive throbbing pain in May's head for a second, and she'd avert her gaze. Blinking, the snake-like slits that were in her eyes returned back to their typical state, and her posture would straighten itself. Confused, she sharply inhaled, coming to the realization that she wasn't in the place she'd first expect.

"..w-where?"

Turning her head both ways, her gaze came across a rather injured student she remembered having briefly approached on the aircraft carrier, except far more injured than she'd remember him being. Perhaps it was the plane that caused said injuries? Though that idea was shot down as a distinctly red fragment began to fade away, no longer pinning him to the tree. May knew that this would happen, and yet, she took the step anyway. While maybe not every injury was caused by her, she took it to herself to believe that it was, and began to panic. It wasn't like her calm and patient demeanor, but the fact that she hurt someone else was already enough shock itself. Her weapons still lied on the ground, and an unfamiliar sword and sheathe were not far from it. What took place while she was out? Rushing over to support his weight, it was obvious now that she was trembling, and she was struggling to take long and composed breaths. He was bleeding in multiple places, and that was her fault. May didn't forsee him being able to trust her after this event, even if it wasn't her. Fatigued, she struggled to support his weight, though it seems like her trembling and the adrenaline of shock was coming to help her here, at least for a little.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry... I'm so sorry..."

She muttered the same words over and over again like a montra, maybe even if she was apologizing to herself. Her words appeared awfully choked up, but the quieter and softer tone of it was a confirmation that it was herself, like it was something that she couldn't believe. She needed help, and fast. May has never felt so incapable of doing something, but at the same time, so at fault for what happened. Gradually, the panic started to wear off, and she was at least capable of thinking of something else for once. May refused to use her semblance, she refused to drain herself anymore than she already has. And unlike June, it didn't take her a lot of time to notice someone else was there. Hopefully she didn't inflict any injuries on anyone else, because with someone bleeding from both the back and the stomach (well, in that area), bleeding out would probably be your first problem.

"... this is such an open area. It's like an illustration that would appear in a book, how odd."

Similar to Kuro's words of before, May gradually began to talk, whether to herself, or to both of them, in an effort to keep herself calm. It was a bit of a habit, where if she did find herself discomposed, talking always appeared to calm her down. Overtime, she began to realize not everyone would want to talk with you, so with herself always became the working alternative. There was a ribbon on the back of her clothing (YOUR SAFE IT DOESN'T UNTIE ANYTHING), and to find something to stop the bleeding from draining him, or slow down the process, she untied it and quickly made a tight wrap horizontally around his torso, which covered a decent amount of the two major wounds inflicted (assuming that it's the cut on his back and shot near his stomach). With any of the other wounds he beared, May went as far as to rip off the wrap that covered her eye. It, was a hollow socket, though there wasn't much to see before she almost instantenously closed it (winking? Eternal winking?). She wrapped it around any of the other "major" wounds, but the rest consisted of just cuts, which was thankfully nothing too big. Breathing steadily and shakily, she tried to figure out where she could achieve help the quickest and easiest. They were in a rather unnatural clearing, where the trees stood tall, but nothing branched out from it. All seemed to be of uniform height, which was a peculiar site for a forest.

"As perchance, do you,"
May started, her voice directed to the young man dressed in a pleasant palette of dark, cool colours, before an audible boom sounded in the distance. If this were a normal situation, she'd be bothered. May disliked loud noises, and never was a huge fireworks person either. But in the scenario of being in the middle of the forest with an injured young man, it was a blessing.

Straining to help carry the weight of Kuro, May felt that whatever pain that she experienced due to her debilitation and weariness was something that she deserved.

@GasMaskie @Rozalski

"It's not likely. We were still close to Beacon. Someone would have noticed by now that there was an artificial world built here as well as our crash." Kuro strained to address the new voice as the shards holding his weight began to fade. He had to try and support himself now. Well, until someone else took up the job.

What a turn of events. The girls personality had made a complete turn around. He was only able to tell that it was still her by the fact that her voice hadn't changed much. Notes to it were somewhat more soulfull but still the same. She seemed to have ended her part of the fight for now. Then there was the other one. They had to be a student, but they had at least noticed the glaring patterns around them.

Kuro was too lost in the pain shooting through his body and the mystery of the situation to try and talk. The girl was apologizing copiously and eventually moved to trying to bandage his wounds for him. At the moment, he didn't question where the cloth came from. However, she had said something just before that triggered his thoughts.

It was like a book, but that was impossible. Being sucked into a book's landscape didn't just happen. Nothing would have even triggered it. His mind wandered further until he found himself pondering the burning man's face again. He hasn't seen anything like it even when he could see. That, however, was the key. The only time he had sight anymore was with his cane and in his dreams. It explained the hollowness and uniformity of the world and why nobody but students were there. Kuro mumbled after taking a deep breath in. "It's not real."

He pushed his weight off of the girl who had managed to hold him this long as a shot rang out through the trees. He would gather whoever that was in a moment. With a grunt and a weak limp, he recovered his sword and placed it back in its sheath where it belonged. His weight now spread to the cane rather than the girl "Don't worry about my injuries. They aren't real. Now, we need to collect whoever that was and figure out how to get out of here."

His mind was going too fast for him to stop and try to explain his hypothesis to the others. He immediately started making his way toward the sound, his cane being the only thing allowing him to make any headway.

@Entarriance @TheOnlyCatbug @GasMaskie

"They're.. not, real?"

That was a hard pill to suddenly take in as she was being pushed away. While being pushed away is one thing, being told to not worry because it wasn't real was a completely different level of confusion. Maybe the blood loss got to him? But he seemed to be able to make out their situation enough to collect where the loud bang had come from, so that brought her some relief. Without her aura influencing her weapon for quite some time, the sword collapsed into two crescent shaped objects with a handle, lying on the ground as lifeless as they were. Stumbling over her own steps as she grabbed her weapon, she darted back towards Kuro, weakly limping with his weight settled onto a cane. If it wasn't real, that would mean that they were in a simulation of some sort. Could it be in futuristic novels that she read, where characters were placed in comas and forced into a simulation otherwise? May was still wary of the possibility, but it was the only thing that she had heard anyway. Right now, their priority was to find whoever sent the explosion.

Assuming that Kuro was still going to make an attempt to walk here, May positioned herself in a way with her arm forcefully tugging on his, obliging him to let her help. She could assume that they were keeping their pace fast, which caused her to tug him forward with nearly every step. But hey, she was trying to support him, that's what mattered!

"I'm sorry about earlier. Ah, the name's May..."

@Rozalski

"Don't worry about my injuries. They aren't real. Now, we need to collect whoever that was and figure out how to get out of here." Getting to that explosion was obviously their goal for the moment, though the young woman's sudden personality shift had left him intrigued. Dissociative Identity Disorder? Or perhaps something instilled within her through conditioning or surgery. The human trafficking of Vacuo involved some mental alterations, at least based on what he could recall off the top of his head. Such sins were best left out of sight and out of mind, however.

By his words, it seemed that he believed that they had been deceived. Perhaps, some sort of Semblance from some veteran? Or they could have been drugged at some point. Though, the young man had not consumed anything during the flight. The afterlife? It was plausible, they could have all died on the airship within an instant. Maybe an unfortunate casualty of a simple Atlesian military test. At the very least, he was certain that he existed. That was the only thing he could be certain of if that blind man's assumption was correct.

He yawned as he watched the girl tug at her previous opponent's arm. May, was it? She showed a great deal of potential - regardless of her circumstances she had fought with the viciousness of a gladiator. At the very least, the blind man had shown enough intuition to deal with her and realize the discrepancies of their current location.

The young man continued to follow the pair, subtly checking every few steps for any signs of life behind them.

(@Rozalski, @Entarriance)

Indigo sat down on a rock that was big enough to act as a chair. He still held his lower body, trying not to keep it in pain. He was still trying to comprehend what the hell just happened. The ship being commandeered, explosions, a gunshot, the way he fell. 'Man, I need to improve on my landing. I could need to use that later. I like the tears in this shirt though, it's so...pretty.' He thought, closing his eyes to see the perspective of the turn of events in an orthographic view. He can imagine a camera in his mind to see a simulation of whatever he wanted to see and be a little perceptible.

"Kuro." He grunted, pulling himself along with his cane. He hadn't felt a drive like this in years. Having to face May and the possibility of having to harm her or end his journey had been a horror for him. However, there was something evil here. Something powerful had not only created this world but had managed to bring everyone on the airship to it. That was the monster he wished to face. That was where he would draw his blade confidently and fight the way he was taught.

Now though, there were more pressing matters. "When I came around after the crash, whatever put us in this situation attacked me. Rather, it played with me like a toy." He began to elaborate. He had taken a guess that his wounds weren't real, although they still hurt, but the concept of dieing was still a mystery. Dieing in a dream could wake them up or it could lead to them being lost to time and space. It was best to have someone else filled in with the details. Just in case his fake sounds became a real casualty. "I saw a man on fire, wrapped in chains and tattered cloth, and a face that only pure evil could hold. He said I had to face my fears before he disappeared." He continued on through the now monotonous forest. "We're in his world currently. I believe that the more people we gather together, the safer we'll be from him."

Finally, Kuro felt another presence ahead. It wasn't one he was particularly happy about, but it was someone. The first face he had encountered on the ship was resting on a rock. While he didn't care for the social interaction earlier, having an extra set of eyes and weapon in hand would more than likely prove helpful. He began to call out but choked back the words immediately. The last time he announced himself, it didn't end well.

@Entarriance @GasMaskie @TheOnlyCatbug

He opened his eyes after simulating the events in his mind. He saw a few people, but didn't know who they were at first but as they got closer, he noticed Kuro. "Hey buddy! Are you alright? Come 'ere, I want to show ya something!"

@Rozalski @Anybody else who might be with him.

May nodded her head along with what Kuro said, noting she understood his explanation. Somewhat. It was such an odd concept, as if she was starring in a book herself. To face one's fears, it was such a vague concept. Looking down for a few seconds as she pondered, May chipped in to the conversation, still feeling a sense of guilt for what was done earlier. Perhaps her input may mean something? If they're trapped in a world not of their own, but of someone elses, they might as well play as pawns on a Chessboard. Depending on how this world orients itself to them, they can easily be manipulated by it.

"Nice to meet you, Kuro. Hm, what an ambiguous subject. If he approached only you, than It's your apprehensiveness or dread alone that you have to face. Each student may have their own, ah.. mission, to say? It's not something as easy as 'just find what you're scared of and face it'. We're all, human, to some degree," she seemed to hesitate for a second, "... and this is far from a human experience. Could it be insight to a future event?"

Pondering on the subject, everyone was scared of something out there. There was no way May would believe that someone wasn't scared of anything, but this was in a broad, general term. She couldn't deduct that because Kuro was approached, it was to be the same for everyone else. Maybe they all had individual goals and expectations set out for them? But for now, their main goal should be surviving, and getting out of whatever world this it.

"Let's take the circumstance when you didn't come across said conclusion. It may adumbrate that they're anticipating us or a said group of people to approach Beacon... so once we collect a group, we could conceivably head towards Beacon to face what's there? It's, expected..." It was hard to come to terms with how your reality isn't really, reality. There wasn't a time where May had experienced this, and overall, it was odd. Turning her head towards the individual trailing a few steps behind them, she smiled and spoke softly.

"Oh, perhaps you may come along as well? Mister..."

May didn't know him very well herself, but something about him seemed to be an awfully compelling individual, with a bit of a disreputable air around him. But who was she to judge? Before she could properly ask for his name, she heard something in front of her and brought her head back.

"Hey buddy! Are you alright? Come 'ere, I want to show ya something!"

People! Fortunately, she wasn't aware of Kuro's hesitance to call out, which would've made her feel more guilty than she already was. She recognized the face as the man she had wished luck for earlier, and luckily enough, he didn't seem overall
that injured. Exhaling a sigh of relief, she waved quickly back and forth to the new face.

"Hey! I'm... I don't think he's that all right, but don't worry! What's up?"

@TheOnlyCatbug @Rozalski @GasMaskie

He recognized the new face from his memory. "Oh. Hey, you're that girl on the ship! I was just sittin' here for a while. If you're looking for others, then you're outa luck. Anyway, are you alright?" He still held his ribs like they needed support or otherwise they would certainly need a metal repair. He pulled his pistol out and set it on the ground near him.

@Entarriance @Rozalski @Whoever else is with them

"Unless you've found the door out of this place, I don't have use for it."

Kuro sighed and continued pushing forward. His attitude had more to do with his own frustrations than the dislike of the other student. He truly hated having his injuries slow down the group. By now they would have already dispensed with pleasantries and moved on with their goal if he could only move properly. He wasn't so lucky though. If this world was just a test by some malific being, he would overcome it. "Don't worry about me, there are larger forces at work here."

Kuro finally came to a stop at the rock Indigo had chosen to rest at. He was breathing heavily from the exertion and showed it. Once he had taken a few moments to settle, he tried to continue thinking things out. "If we make it to Beacon, there's no guarantee that it will actually be Beacon. It can all be just an illusion."

@Entarriance @GasMaskie @TheOnlyCatbug

He was confused, an illusion? This big? "What do you mean? If this was an illusion, then I wouldn't really have a couple fractured bones and you wouldn't be tired. If this is a dream, then how would I conveniently have this awesome looking fox on my shoulder. Oh wait... convenient."

He now began to think why he was here in the first place. Something about his father, and a weapon, and going to be something, and... he seemed to forget why.

@Rozalski @GasMaskie @Entarriance

Jade was lucky that the other girl was so short. If it had been anyone else then she probably wouldn't have managed to carry them in her injured state, but Clara was small enough for her to lift over her shoulder, which made it possible for her to keep using her crutch. That didn't mean that it was a fun experience, since every time the faunus moved even slightly, pain would lance through her back. She didn't yell out, wanting to avoid attracting any attention.

"I'd really appreciate it if you woke up right now, you know." Jade muttered. It wasn't too far to the airship now, and she was really hoping to get her jacket back before they reached it. Besides that, she was worried about the girl. Jade wasn't exactly a medical expert, but she figured that there had to be a few people that needed medical attention. "Come on, you gotta just say something. I don't even care if you freak out anymore, alright? Just wake up already." she said, concern obvious in her voice.

She could see the light at the end of the trees now. She paused for a moment.
"You conscious yet, Clara? 'Cause if you are, I'd appreciate that jacket back before we get there, okay?" it was close enough that removing the makeshift bandage wouldn't cause too much trouble, but if she hadn't woken up yet then Jade guessed she'd just have to deal with the others knowing.

@LadyClara

Coming round again, this time felt different to her, she felt more aware. Even still, she felt as though she was moving, her body swaying to the side.

There was something cold beneather her stomach, sturdy but cold. Without thinking, she tried to speak out, instead only groaning slightly. Still unable to open her eyes, she lay...wherever she was and hoped soon she could fully wake up.

"You conscious yet, Clara? 'Cause if so, I'd appreciate that jacket back before we get there, okay?"

The voice sounded closer than she expected, as it it was right next to her. She wanted to reply, she wanted to speak out, anything to stop her drifting off again. The only think she was able to do was groan again a little louder.

Maybe that will be enough. I can hear her, I can understand her, I just can't reply.. Crap, how am I going to do this?

Well, she was conscious, apparently. Jade sat the other girl down gently. Was she not able to talk? Well, Jade could probably speak enough for both of them if she had to. "Listen, Clara. I'm gonna unwrap your head, okay? I, uh, really do need that jacket back." she was speaking quite slowly to make sure the other girl got everything. "But I've got you, alright? You're gonna be fine. Just try and keep your head still or something, I guess."

She unwrapped the jacket from the other girl's head as carefully as she could. "Do you think you'll be able to walk soon? I'm fine with carrying you some more but I figure you might prefer them not seeing that you need it, that's all." She smiled slightly. She didn't know if the faunus girl cared, but Jade knew that if it were her, she wouldn't want them to see her like that. It was to do with pride or something.

@LadyClara

Hearing the voice talk to her sent a wave of relief through her. Someone had really found her and was helping. The swaying stopped and, to her confusion, it felt as though she was being set down again. Had they made it already?

"Listen, Clara. I'm gonna unwrap your head, okay? I, uh, really do need that jacket back."

Jacket? What jacket? Does she mean my cloak? Panic rose inside her, amongst pain from her injury.

She slowly shook her head, groaning again and clutching onto her cloak, afraid of it being removed. She stopped protesting when she felt something being removed from her head slowly, cold air rushing to the back, brushing over her wound, sending another wave of pain through her. Her entire body tensed up, her eyes squeezing together. She wanted to scream out, her throat still felt like sandpaper. It hurt to groan but not nearly as bad as talking.

There was a pause of silence, the air went still and she couldn't hear anything.

Is she gone..? Did she just leave me here..?

"Do you think you'll be able to walk soon? I'm fine with carrying you some more but I figure you might prefer them not seeing that you need it, that's all."

The voice made her jump a little, a bit unexpected from the silence that hung before it.

Walk..? I.. She didn't understand how she could walk when she barely could keep herself awake. First, she had to concentrate on opening her eyes.

@Dragonfry

"Yeah, dumb question, sorry." Jade said, pulling her jacket back on. Something was bothering the other girl. Now that Jade thought about it, the girl had been trying to hide that she was a faunus for some reason. Jade figured she'd help her out a bit, pulling the girl's hood back over her ears. "Right, I'm gonna pick you up again, okay? We've not got far to go, I promise." Putting the girl back over her shoulder, she started to walk the last few hundred metres towards the airship.

It didn't take much time at all for her to reach the clearing. There was a group of people there. She recognised Sapphire, and platform girl, but there wasn't exactly time for pointless chatting. She sat Clara down next to the rock, lying her back against it so that she'd at least be sitting upright. "There. You're okay, everyone's here. You're gonna be fine. Just try and keep breathing." Jade said, an unusual amount of softness in her voice compared to normal.

She looked around at the group, her eyes narrowing. She knew where Sapphire and Clara had ended up after the crash, but the rest of them? Any one of the rest of them could have been the one that pretty much left her to die in the cockpit. She didn't throw out an accusation yet, but until she knew who'd done it she wasn't prepared to trust them one bit.

Once he landed he's just been drifting around aimlessly. He comes to a stop seeing a group of maybe five or six people. Joseph rode over towards the group He didn't seem to have any type of wounds on him, so far as they can see that is. The group could only assume that his landing plan went fine since he used a hover board. He stopped his board and got off. He steps on the back end having it pop up to him. He catches the board and it changes back into a bat. He spins the bat and puts it in its case on his back. He guys, is everyone alright? Well I guess alright is an understatement. Does anyone have any terrible/ permanent injuries??

After the feeling of being put down again, Clara rolled her head in the direction of other voices and, using her ears under her hood, tried to visualise which voices were where.

Others made it off the ship.. she smiled slightly, ignoring the dull throb of pain at the back of her head.

She listened in to the others conversations, one voice kept apologising for something, another was asking a question about an illusion. Clara pondered about that question, thinking of some of her own. Illusion? Is that a semblance? Is it an illusion he's seeing? I don't understand..I need to see.

Taking a slow, deep breath, Clara slowly cracked open her eyes. Still glowing gold from the extensive overuse of her semblance, to her, the world as she saw had a tinge of orange to everything, as though she wore glasses with an orange filter. She barely saw anything, the image still blurry before her. After blinking several times, she slowly started to make out certain outlines, trees and people.

Clara looked up in front of her and saw someone, a girl or so she thought, standing just by her feet. She wore the same jacket she saw back on the ship and realised who it was.

Jade? She made it out the cockpit.. I hope my belt had secured her well..

She blinked again, her eyes still glowing but getting less brighter as the minutes ticked by.

Other students that had been on the ship miraculously made their way to this convenient waypoint. The increase in their numbers put his mind more at ease. Maybe between them, they had one fully functioning fighter. It was a stretch, but still possible.

Kuro decided to seat himself and rest for a moment against the rock. His knees fell first and touched ground. His cane still supported most of his weight so it was an easy time down. He shifted around his cane slightly to support his back against the Rock's surface before attempting to fill everyone in.

"The burning man. I believe he's the one responsible for this." His hand began to scratch at the ground, parting grass and making an outline in the dirt. "His presence was unmistakably malicious. He seemed to be intangible. The biggest detail however, was his face." His finger continued disturbing the ground to outline a hood and the details of eyes and that grin hat had been burned into his memory. Having finally completed it, he tapped his cane to make sure it looked close enough. Even this drawing in the dirt sent a chill down his spine, so it must have been decent.

His head layed back against the rock, looking upwards. "In case nobody had guessed it yet, I'm blind. The only way I can see is through my cane. It outlines the world around me by feel. The world we're currently in feels hollow to me and everything is too perfectly placed." He sighed slightly. No matter how many times he said it or thought it through in his head, it still sounded bizzare. "Along with that, I believe any of our injuries aren't real. No matter how much they hurt."

Kuro fell silent for a moment before his body tensed slightly. "Also, this is the only rock I've seen in this entire forest..."

Almost as if it had been by command, the ground trembled beneath the group as a low resonating growl resounded over the land. The singular rock formation began to rise and shift, revealing more that had presumably been buried. The top rose at a sharp angle over an indention, almost like it was a hood. After that came something entirely different. Jagged edges gave way to more smooth surfaces as if this were actually a statue. There further it rose, more more shape it took. It was a body, but it's face had yet to be revealed.

Now with this colossus towering over the group, Kuro knew exactly what face would behold this creation. He felt the structure shake as twored eyes opened under the good and that evil wide smile spread just under them. Parts of its back began to burn red as well as it's body began to animate. It looked down at the group, and its smile widened.

The burning man, now a man made of rock raised it's arm before sending it crashing down, aiming to crush the group.
