Jade waved goodbye to Sapphire as he walked away towards the exit. "See you later!" She took a moment to consider what she thought of him. Eh, seemed nice enough. Looking in the wrong place for a girlfriend though. "Poor guy." she sighed jokingly. "Can't blame him though, I am, after all, stunningly attractive." she joked, with a wink that made it obvious she wasn't serious.

Honestly, Jade wasn't sure why she hadn't headed off to the exit yet, but was happy to stick with Clara for now. "So, I guess we're pals now, huh?" she laughed cheerfully. She considered a playful punch in the arm, but those tended to hurt coming from her. She settled for a cheesy thumbs up instead. "Anyway, Beacon Academy here we come! Wonder what the entrance exam is like."

@LadyClara

Kuro finally placed why the other student had been so friendly. Listening closely after he had departed, it seemed like he was trying his luck trying to catch someone's eye. Either this student really was just overly friendly or was looking for a wingman for his real goal. Kuro scoffed slightly and began to roam the ship slowly. He didn't find much of interest until the intercom of the ship kicked in.

The bell tones signifying an announcement chimed throughout the ship and left a moment of silence before the voice behind it kicked in. "Good afternoon, Students." This wasn't the usual voice of a cheery captain. It was the same man that had initiated the flight, but something in his voice had changed. It was cold, and it was pointed. "If you'll look to your left-" As soon as his words began, the leftward engine of the airship burst into flames, rocking the entire vessel. "You'll see that this ship has been commandeered and that you won't be making it to school." Another blast from the opposite side of the ship rocked its insides. The final message came as more of a low mumble. "You at least won't have to see your lands burned in judgement." The intercom cut out as the airship began to lose altitude quickly, flames trailing behind it.

As Clara heard the announcement, her stomach churned and she lost her balance, falling straight in to Jade.

"What's going on?! Why are we falling?" she exclaimed, not really directing the question to anyone.

The Faunus straightened herself up, wobbling as the ship rocked again and glanced outside in horror, seeing the engine was...gone.

Gone? What the hell?

"What do I do.." Clara panicked, attempting to get her head straight.

For the entire ride Joseph stayed to himself in a corner reading about the Grimm. He sat next to his bat, which was in its case, and his white and red varsity jacket. When the intercom came on Joseph tuned it out and continued reading. But when he heard an explosion he quickly looked to where it resonated from jumping up onto his feet. He stood there frozen as the sight of the left engine engulfed in flames. Then there was another explosion. He turned to the right seeing that the right engine was the same as the left. He turned back around to grab his stuff, first putting on his jacket, then slinking his case strap across his body. He stood there with no idea what to do next.

During the duration of the ride, May sat near the corner of the room, a book held close to her face. Reading was one of her favourite past times, and it was one of the things that she was able to do without getting yelled at back at... home. Personally, this was one of her favourites! Her bag was filled mainly of books and it was always nice to read a book outside in nice warm weather. The one she was reading about was a female knight, who falls in love with a prince of a kingdom. In order to get closer to him, she becomes one of his most trusted knights... and... aah, it'd already take so much time to explain! Among the ship, there were other people who talked amongst each other, and it was pleasant hearing bits of their conversation. Raising her head every once and a while, she was met with someone who appeared to be mirroring what she was doing, back against a corner reading. The A tuff of red hair appeared to mark his character, and a large case that seemed suitable for something like a bokken or bat was close to him. She considered talking to him... perhaps he was lonely? Perhaps he sat in the corner to get out of the eyes of everyone else? Either way, it floated around her mind a little as she read. And then...

B O O M

A loud boom would immediately fill her eardrums, as well as a sharp lurching of the plane. Dropping her book out of surprise, she gripped onto the handles of one of the chairs as another boom sounded, lurching the plane into the opposite direction. Looking out the window, bits and pieces of shrapnel would be flying away from them, solely from the engine as the plane was soon to make it's descent onto the earth. Taking a deep breath in, she had to stay calm. She didn't know
anyone here right now, and that was probably a huge mistake on her part. Getting to know someone and what they'd do would probably be of great help here!

While her mind floated everywhere, the good thing was, it was her specialty in staying calm. Standing up, she looked towards the tuff of red hair, who had stood up with his case around his shoulders.

"Hey, Red! Go check other sections of the plane and make sure no one got hurt!"

May's heart was beating so fast, it was pounding hard against her chest as she kept herself composed. Panicking was obvious, but definitely not the way to go right now. What can she do... what can she do... shards! May's semblance involved objects that had broken into shards, if she hadn't broken it or created some herself. With shards (bits of the shrapnel) as an existing source, it wouldn't tire her out as much as creating them from her own energy would have. Rushing over towards the window, she didn't know anyone else on the plane, and she hoped that someone would come up with another plan as she tried to maintain her own composure. There was a faint teal outline of aura that surrounded the bits of shrapnel from the engine as the plane began to glide, and then fall downwards. The aura would seem to begin to collect, and the metal bits and pieces that flew off began to collect itself into a large floor-like mass. But as for now, it sure as hell wasn't enough to carry any more than 3 people. But even so, with her beating heart in unexpectation and the rate at which they fell, it took a lot out of her to try and merge any of the shards right now.

"H-help... help would be nice..."

Regaining her balance, Clara ran to the front of the ship to where the stairs that led to the top floor were located. The ship kept lurching, causing her to lose her balance several times, only managing to stay upright.

Nearly sliding up the stairs from the angle the ship faced, she fell against the wall and looked around. All different students were panicking, running around and holding on to the sides.

All these people..

Clara slid along the wall until she was next to the hallway leading to the cockpit. The Captain must still be in there.

The Faunus pulled down her hood, her ears pointing straight up. She tightened the cloak around her back, keeping it hidden. Before she could step forward towards the cockpit, her ears twitched, a presence behind stopped her in her tracks.

@Church418

Jade whistled admiringly, even as she steadied her new friend's balance. That was an explosion, alright! It took her a moment to appreciate that the explosion had happened to the engine of the ship that she was on. Suddenly she was a lot less pleased about it. Clara seemed to have already taken off towards the cockpit and Jade figured she could handle herself anyway. Besides, anyone who put this much effort into crashing an airship wasn't just gonna leave the controls okay either. She noticed a girl who seemed to be making some kinda platform. Must be her semblance. Neat.

She ran over in response to the girl's call for help. Jade wasn't the best for these things, but she could at least sort out some other stuff. She looked at the white-haired girl. "You able to float that thing a bit closer to the ship?" without waiting for an answer, she moved to a nearby window, not too high, but high enough that no-one would accidentally fall out, and punched straight through the window without even bothering to use her weapons. "There's no way we're keeping this thing in the air, so we gotta get everyone out. How many people do you think you can carry at once? Not all the way down, just until it's safe enough to jump without dying."

As she spoke, she was clearing the glass away from the frame, a determined look on her face. She stood next to the window, ready to help anyone else climb out if they needed her to. Jade Woods wasn't getting off this ship until everyone else did.

He walked to where Jade was and didn't find her there. He spotted her after looking around for a minute."Do any of you know what's going on?!" He shouted while walking toward her. He had a slight feeling of panic, but didn't express it.

"I..."

May hesitated. She remembered back at home, she quick to be scolded due to her being unable to do something as it reached past her limitations and human boundaries. Ever since than, she never held a lot of confidence in her own capabilities, she never really tried to step outside what that comfort zone is. However, this was a dire situation, and after a short hesitation, she continued.

"I can definitely lift the students that are boarding on this airship right now. But that's already going to exert a lot of effort, so I can't slow down the falling. We need to slow it down falling so that whatever is underneath doesn't catch fire and explode as violently as it's going to. I'm going to create multiple different panels so it isn't all one large floor, so I can lower each of them down to a level they can jump at."

Coming to her own resolve, the shrapnel from the breaking engine wasn't enough to create a large enough floor to stand on. Though by creating shards using her own energy, it was bound to wear her down more. But she was capable. She was unable to attack very well with her shards, but she sure as hell could make a barrier. And if she couldn't make use of the limits of her own abilities now, than there wasn't a point. As shards that artificially glew brightly began to form and paste itself along with the metal bits from the engine, she heard a relatively loud voice from a little bit behind her.

"Do any of you know what's going on?"

How could this kid be so oblivious? While keeping her eyes on the platform she held suspended, May shouted back what she could establish. If any of them wanted to get out, it was better to do it together.

"B-blue! If you haven't noticed, both engines are gone, and we're plummeting down to Earth at an angle that is surely going to kill all of us and cause an explosion and a shockwave to harm many more. And we're trying to avoid that! Can you try and calm everyone down and lessen the panicking? If you can, possibly direct them here as orderly as you can?"

May didn't even have any time to question how the girl smashed through the window and didn't appear to be bleeding. It was sure as hell odd, though if you're falling nearly 30,000 feet from the ground from an aircraft carrier, surely being able to smash a window without bleeding is a good thing. But what can she come up with right now?

"... can you make explosions?"

@Dragonfry @TheOnlyCatbug

"Umm, no. And by that question, I meant the specifics. But I have a way to calm them down. It's a little unorthodox but it should work." After that, he took out a blue pistol with a couple white stripes on it, and shot it somewhere a couple times, he made sure nobody got hurt. "Everybody be calm and do as I say, and I say to listen to her!" He pointed to the girl that responded to him.

@Entarriance @Dragonfry

As harsh as it was, platform girl had a point. Still, Jade figured she'd encourage the poor guy. "It's cool, Sapphire. Took me a minute to get my head around it too. Still, doing what the lady says right now would be real helpful, okay?" speaking of which, Jade tuned back in to what the other girl was saying at the best moment.

"...can you make explosions?"

Okay, sure, they were plummeting down quite possibly to their doom, but that right there made Jade grin like a shark.
"You have no idea how long I've wanted someone to ask me that." she rolled her shoulders, disguising it as stretching instead of what it actually was, the Dust canisters in them moving to release some sweet, sweet fire dust and fuel her semblance. Fire dust, of course, being ideal for blowing things up.

She noticed Sapphire trying to gather up a crowd, so she decided to get to the point. "Anyway, the answer is yes. I can definitely make explosions."

He put his weapon back in it's holster, hopefully nobody recognized what it actually was. "You didn't cause this, didya? Bad things happen when I turn my on people, literally."

Kuro stood still amongst the panicked crowds. With a slight grunt, he thrust the tip of his cane into the wall adjacent and held it there. He had easily felt the two engines exploding just as the intercom had stated. Now, he felt the ship warping slightly under the strain of gravity. People were running everywhere and frantically trying to get off the ship safely. Some were successful in creatively finding ways to glide down to the forest below. That, or they were really jumping ship. It was hard to tell once they separated themselves from any contact with the ship. There lied his problem. He had no idea how his own way down would be achieved. Kuro had effectively blown off the only other student he had contact with and now wasn't the easiest time to try and make friends. Speaking of which, the idiot was shooting and yelling. It seemed like he was going to take charge of the situation but then immediately shirked it off. Kuro sighed and sauntered toward his previous acquaintance.

"There's enough holes in the ship already. Unless that thing can make us all sprout wings, put it away." He growled walking past the boy. He didn't even try to make eye contact this time. The naivety of his own blidness combined with the fact that he really didn't care much for the other student's actions made for an especially cold shoulder. Kuro walked until his cane missed solid ground and hung slightly over the edge where a window had just been. He could feel the wind rushing into the cabin from this window and could only dream of what the sensation of the ground coming closer would look like. Finally he sighed and took a step back carefully, turning to face the group that seemingly had a plan. "Don't worry too much about the other students. They're finding their way off. We're one group of very few that are still here. There's no need to go out in a blaze of glory today."

"Aah, specifics? I'm sorry, I'm not so sure myself. But I believe everyone's safety would be the best course of action right now, instead of trying to pinpoint our perpetrator. It appears that they have no other plans in mind other than to bring this aircraft to the ground."

Nodding her head, she felt a little been nervous as he questioned the other girl on whether or not she did it. While it may have been a precautionary measure, something about it always felt unsettling to her, turning on your own classmates and colleagues. But maybe that was just her. She did jump a little at the sudden gunshots, though she managed to compose herself quickly, before it suddenly came to her realization.

"... they, they're finding their own ways..."

The students, as talented as they were, were finding their own ways of heading downwards. And her realization was confirmed as she heard a low voice coming a bit far off.

"Don't worry too much about the other students. They're finding their way off. We're one group of very few that are still here. There's no need to go out in a blaze of glory today."

Gripping her fists together, she seemed to always hold a melancholic expression on her face. At first, her hands were held out in front of her as she managed a platform, but with the man saying how there was no need, as the students found their own ways to leave, May's arms immediately separated towards her side. The platform appeared to violently shatter apart, but she still held control over each of the shards. They begun to surround and tightly cling onto a part of the carrier, some collecting onto the wings, some towards the head, a good amount on the bottom, as if carrying it. Suddenly, there was a sharp jerk in the plane as she rapidly tried to slow it down from it's descent. May didn't hold enough energy or the strength for an instantaneous stop, and that would hurt her more than help her. Feeling a wave of lightheadedness coming over herself as the massive object pushed hard against the shards. Though it appeared to be working to some relative extent? There was a constant force that pulled everyone towards the front of the aircraft as it fell and slowly lost speed. But not fast enough.

"E-explosion girl, this may seem like much, but you need to somehow head to the front outside of the plane.If you can, find a teal shard and hold that. It's a bit, crazy, but it's all I can manage right now. If you cause an explosion under but a bit in front of the plane, not so the plane get's caught in the blast, but the recoil from the attached close-ranged explosion should create a sudden jerk and interruption in terminal velocity. That's if you can manage it."

May was good with hiding how she felt, and this was one of those moments. She felt somewhat nauseous and a bit tired, because never had she imagined in her life she'd be using her ability to try and stop a falling aircraft carrier. And while she was a Beacon student, you have to admit, that's a lot.

"Now's not the time to be arguing, Blue! You need to find a way out! Be careful, okay?!"

"Alright. My name's Indigo by the way." He walked away from the group. He was thinking, but he couldn't think of any actual good ideas. He might need the help of someone else, with about 8 hits in a row on an enemy fighter, he can go incredibly fast and might be able to counteract the force of the aircraft. Still, he had no idea how he would do that. Now he was desperate, there was only one idea that came to mind. 'Jump out with the board when you're close.'

Several minutes past after Clara had made her way upstairs, she slowly managed to crawl to the lowerdeck. To her horror, she saw students sprawled over the floor, some wounded, some unconscious and others tending to them. Her stomach sunk to the floor, her heart beating so fast, it was as if it almost flatlined. The majority of the remaining were already jumping out, having ways to get to the ground safely.

Oh my god.. All these Students.. Why is there no help coming for us?

She scanned the room for any signs of places she could help, her eyes resting on a few students, two from before and another one, who seemed to be creating some kind of barrier, or a flooring of some sort.

Looking closer, Clara saw that this girl was using her Semblance, or at least it must be, to create some kind of platform.

Maybe I can help her..

Using the walls alongside the Airship, Clara managed to drag herself around the deck and towards where the Students were at. Having to shout louder than normal just to get herself heard, she spoke out to them.

"What are you guys doing?! do you know if there's any help coming?"

@Entarriance @Dragonfry @Rozalski

For one of the first times in her life, Jade was actually speechless. She stared at Sapphire, cold anger in her eyes. "If I was the one that did it, why would I still be on the airship? You know what, just shut it. Don't say another word to me if you wanna keep all your teeth." she looked at the platform girl, nodding. She could see the effort that this was taking her, and Jade respected that. "Okay. Teal shard, under but a bit in front. Got it!" she said, with a slightly sarcastic salute before she levered herself out of the broken window.

The first thing that she noticed was the wind. It hit her like a truck, making her have to grip the side of the ship to avoid flying away. Normally, she'd just keep going slow, avoid using her real arm strength so people wouldn't be suspicious, but there was no time for that. Instead of crawling along like most people would have to, she grabbed the top of the window edge and tossed herself up onto the roof almost effortlessly, snatching a teal shard out of the air as she flew.

Once she was up there, getting to the front was a lot easier. She skidded over the top of the cockpit, landing in front of the windscreen. She didn't even bother to look back at the inside, determined to finish her mission. It got harder and harder to balance, and she was crawling by the time she reached the nose of the airship. She only really had one shot at this. With a twitch of her hands, the arms started feeding Fire Dust into her body. She wasn't used to this much at once, and it hurt. A lot. With a yell of effort, she launched a fireball that detonated in just the right place, with a very impressive shockwave.

Of course, what she hadn't considered was that she was also very close to the shockwave herself. She realised this very quickly when it slammed into her. The shock of the impact, combined with the damage she'd taken trying to channel so much energy, knocked her straight out cold. An unconscious Jade was sent skidding along the roof, and shattered the windscreen, landing with a mixture of crashes, metallic noises and thumps on the floor of the cockpit.

She felt something hard push down on her body, but it wasn't an object. In fact, it was weight of the sudden shockwave that proceeded to lash against the force of the plane, causing it to slow. However, she heard numerous crashes from above her, and her face twisted in concern at the state of her friend. It was too much, there was no way she couldn't have came out of that injured, and it was her fault. From the shockwave, May had immediately turned around, opening her mouth as if to shout at everyone to take cover, but it was a bit too fast for her. Lurching the ship back, May struggled to keep her hold and maintain her nausea to slow down the aircraft. It lurched her forward, causing her to crash into the body of Indigo. Losing her hold briefly on controlling her shards, the plane suddenly jerked without her maintaining a fir hold on it. May managed to steady it, and she slowly (but quickly, just "slowly" enough so they would all experience zero gravity. Imagine a fast elevator) began to lower the aircraft.

She needed to concentrate and what she was doing, and with how much going on, it was obvious it was seeming to effect her. Awkwardly rolling and crawling herself away from Indigo after slamming into him with a quiet
"Sorry," she remained sitting on the ground roughly clutching her head. There was a throbbing pain in her head, and sweat speckled her forehead. No way she should have been able to maintain the entire force of a large aircraft carrier for this long and this fast. No way I'm letting you take over was what she thought to herself. The plane lowered itself.

"If.." she started, straining her voice, while her expression seemed merely worried, her voice was stiff and choked, "ah.. check the cockpit. Hurry!"

Indigo just nodded as he stood up, he grabbed a rectangular object and held it like a briefcase. "I have a plan to slide on this, any ideas?" he shouted at the woman as she went away, she probably won't respond. He has a good enough plan already.

@Entarriance

As Clara stumbled from the explosions, she regained her balance, using the railing to pull herself to her feet. She saw students collapse to the floor, some in pain, others just shaken.

Over the deafening grinding noise from the hull of the ship, she heard some cry to check the cockpit.

Ive just came from there..

Grunting and dragging herself back towards the stairs the led to the upper deck, still holding on to the sides, she eventually made it back up.

As she turned around the corner to the cockpit door, she lost her balance and slid down the hallway, slamming face first into the door.

After peeling her cheeks away, she tried the handle. To her dismay, the door was locked from the inside.

Using one of her blades, Clara pierced the lock, snapping apart the mechanism inside and turned the handle, struggling to pull the door open.

What she saw inside sent chills down her spin and would easily be the stuff of nightmares for nights to come.

First the wind hit her. It was evident that the windows were smashed in but it was as if they were broken from outside.

Second was the smell, burning and smokey but not the kind from a barbecue. It's smelled of darkness.

Third was her friend from before, lying unconscious. This confused Clara. How did she get here if the door was locked..?

Fourth was the other person in the room. When her eyes fell onto him, her heart froze in fear.

He stood at the side, a wide open grin on his face, his teeth bared at her. He seemed to be in transition with the smoke, as if he was made from it. The darkness feeling seemed to be coming from him.

Just as quickly as she spotted him, he vanished, an eerie laughter echoing in his place.

After a few seconds of staring at the spot, the ship lurched again, jarring her from the trance she found herself in. Looking forward, her insides crawled at how fast and close they seemed to be approaching the ground. Seeing the controls were completely bust, she seemed to give in..

"I have no choice.. I'm going to have to use it.. I swore I never would."

Turning around and kneeling down, she grabbed her belt, removing it and fastened Jade securely against the wall.

"I'm sorry but I have to.."

Managing to control the pain that surged from her head to her extremities to some level, she staggered as she stood up. They were merely seconds away from crashing towards the ground, and she made eye contact with Indigo as she staggered. Something red would briefly flash, but she merely blinked, and it was gone. Grinning, May awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck, maintaining the best facade she could pull of her being well.

"A.. I have no interjections. Try... try to land in a tree or something, okay?" There might be a lot of pressure along the bottom of your shin and instep."

She had a very motherly-like tone, but that was pretty much a personality trait of herself. Over concerning over the safety of others, she teetered her way towards the opening, where the ground was propelling itself closer towards them- no.
They were propelling closer to it. It made her feel uneasy, but the memory of the crashes she heard played back loudly in her head. Stumbling as she tried to run to the cockpit, May put the brief effort into patting Indigo on the shoulder.

"...May."

It didn't take her long, but it sure took her a lot of energy. The shards she used were starting to let the plane fall back into it's terminal velocity, and she tried her hardest to try and decelerate the falling. But she only had so much stamina left, and even climbing up towards the cockpit took a lot of effort. Seeing the girl she saw earlier and a new face, her face contorted to that of concern.

"W-what are you doing up here?! Get off the ship! Is... is she alright?!"

@LadyClara @TheOnlyCatbug

Indigo did a friendly salute before he jumped out, holding the metal plate to his feet, trying to face sideways to hit a tree and knock it over like in a movie. Instead he ended up falling chest first, rolling and losing consciousness consciousness rapidly. He hoped that the others were ok, before he passed out from the extreme breath taking chest hit. He was breathing normally, but he wouldn't wake up.

As she stared at the approaching ground, her hair blowing behind her, her ears twitched as she heard someone stumble behind her. Clara spun round when she heard a voice, coming face to face with the silver haired girl she saw before using her semblance at the window.

"It's you.. We don't have time. I think I can stop the ship but I need your help. I need to be outside on the hull, facing the ship. Are you able to support me on a platform out there?" the Faunus pointed behind her, through the smashed window.

She glanced behind her, her eyes widened at how close they were coming.
