A Campfire at the End of Time
[QUOTE="Aeri Rosevier]Jinie looked at Leone when he asked the question. She had not really expected these kinds of questions this early in the meet-up. She thought these things will be asked once everyone had settled in with their new partners and teams but she didn't really mind, as she had no reason to hide her background. She actually didn't have much to say about it either.
"Well, I'm from Mistral. I can't really say much about my life as there is nothing really interesting and important. All I know is that I have been lonely since most people sees me as... someone who is not likeable." she told him, thinking of her last description carefully. She actually started liking the word delinquent as it has been used to describe her way too often. "I did hope it was going to change here." He nodded at her before telling her about his own story. It seemed he was a thief back then. 'A thief of thieves, huh?' she thought. She smiled which slowly turned to a chuckle then into a soft laugh. She found Leone rather interesting. At least he had more experiences in life than her. This was another reason why she wanted to be a huntress. She wanted to make the most of her life.
"Ain't that grand?" she told him, grinning at him before playfully punching him at his shoulder. She did not really care if he was a thief before and besides, he was some good kind of thief. "I wish my life was as exciting." she finished, a slight hint of sadness in her voice.

He focused on her blue eyes with his green ones, and smiled slightly. "And why wouldn't you be likeable, Jinie?" he asked curiously. "I think you are quite likable." he said truthfully. "But it has changed!" he said, stepping infront of her. "I mean, we're friends!" he grinned as she began to laugh at the story he told of his life. He quite liked her laugh, soft and light, like wind almost, "Quite grand indeed," he replied teasingly as she punched him in the shoulder playfully. He frowned at that last comment, however. "Never say that. From my.... line of work, it comes with experience that wishing for excitement more often than not gets you the worst kind of exci-" he never got to finish his sentence. A large form came barreling out of the bushes, knocking him over, roaring at him, while he held its massive white fangs away from his throat with his hands. "I told you!" he called, grunting with the effort of holding the beast off him.
